Dr. Mark Zeme

I have been calling for the last 5 days to schedule an appointment... the phone is answered by a female and then tells me to wait... after waiting for 10 minutes every time she hungs up the phone. I am unable to schedule an appointment!????

This is by far the friendliest, clear and concise doctor I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. With zero information from test results that were unavailable to him at the time I believe he has tied my dry mouth to arthritis I’ve been having that I never would have thought related (I’m 41). He ordered some tests and I’m seeing results come in and I think he nailed it. The quality of my life will drastically improve if it pans out. I’m astounded he has any low reviews, I felt like family there the minute he walked in.

I cant get thru his messaging system to make an appointment

I want to thank Dr Zeme I've been struggle with vertigo for 20 or years has had test after test done over the years no one could figure out what was causing the vertigo but he did he's really smart and knows what he's doing i appreciate him so much a Doc that knows his work. Thank You

I went to see Dr. Mark Zeme after waiting for 4 months due to my vertigo dizziness problem. They did a hearing test and the doctor came in and told me my problem is not my ear it comes from migraine headaches. He didn't even looked inside my ears or anything.he only talked to me for not more than one minute. I never complained about hearing problem . With that they just rushed me out. Dr . Zeme installed a new tube in my right Ear. He is a fantastic Doctor. I am very very happy with his care which has been ongoing for over 10 years.

This guy is a stupid idiot. He doesn't even check the patient. He has his assistant nurses do all the checking. How can you tell what's wrong with the patient if you don't even check them yourself being the MD. He is rude and incompetent. His license should be suspended for negligence and misrepresentation.

Called every day for a week, left 3 voicemails, no return call from them ever. You are medical office providing service if you can't do that stop practicing and close up shop. This place is worthless

Called for an emergency appointment been having issues breathing through my nose. Went this morning after calling for 3 weeks. Got to the room waited 15 mins. Zeme comes in puts the camera at the entrance of my left nostril and then switched and stuck it further into my right. Took it out and said that I needed acid reflux medication. He did not address my concerns or tell my why I am not able to produce mucous from my nose or any other concerns that I had . He just cut me of while I was talking. My nose is just dry and inflamed everything burns even the scope. He was there for 1 minute told me I smelled like cigarettes and that he couldn't help me today. I will be moving on elsewhere. After our Hawaii trip I had some odd ear pain and went to see Dr. Zeme. Dr. Mark Zeme insisted it is just swimmers ear. Pain didn’t go away and I ended up seeing Dr. Zeme three additional times. Dr. Zeme never took his time to understand the issue and kept insisting on swimmers ear. I finally ended up going to Ear Associates in San Jose who found out that I had a fungus infection of the ear canal and it was eating away on things. I could have potential lost my hearing. Have seen dr Zeme 3 times now. He’s very sharp and I like his personality. A day after I had a cyst removed, I was concerned about swelling and infection. He told me to come in so that he could look at it. Everything turned out to be normal. He took the time and squeezed me into his schedule to make sure that I was ok. That’s a good doctor! Horrible ! The doctor did not help me all ! He did bad treatment and examination to me ! He is very rude ! He only want is charge a lot to the insurance for bad treatment ! I found a better doctor in San Leandro Hospital ! thanks God he safe my life! Don't go with Mark Zeme MD don't spend your time and money there !

I have been a patient of Dr. Zeme for over 7 years. I went to him because I lost my sense of smell due to my allergies. I had done research and I saw some patients got injections which restored their sense of smell. Dr. Zeme gave me a shot and my sense of smell lasted for about 6 months. He referred me to an allergist as well. I continued to see Dr. Zeme, but the level of treatment I received changed a lot after I turned 65 and my employer switched to United Healthcare Advantage PPO. When I saw Dr. Zeme this year and discussed getting an injection because I cannot smell again and I even offered to pay if the injection was not covered by United Healthcare, which it wasn't. He told me NO and there was nothing he could do, even though he advertises he treats smell disorders. This is a safety issue for me because I can't smell smoke, chemicals or other hazards. He told me I would just have to live with it. As a black woman, where it is medically documented, black women's level of care treatment, misdiagnosis is worse than any other group by the medical profession, Dr. Zeme Dismissed my concerns and didn't seem to care about my situation. Excellent doctor!

I should have written this a couple weeks ago, better late than never. I had been referred to Dr. Zeme and, quite honestly, after reading his reviews both on Google and Yelp, I was not looking forward to going. I am not sure if those review writers went to the same Dr. Zeme that I had the pleasure of visiting. Dr. Zeme was exceptionally knowledgeable, kind, thorough and all with a professional sense of humor. He was able to answer questions, educate both myself and my friend and quickly put my mind at ease. He was patient, explained with great detail what he was doing when performing an in office procedure. I walked out of there feeling SO much better than I did going in. I had been through a few other appointments with other doctors regarding lumps I have around my throat. It did seem that the other doctor visits left me questioning what was going on which then led to excessive stress. Also, his office staff was VERY nice. Not only did they make you feel comfortable and were attentive, they too had a great sense of appropriate humor. I hope I won't have to see him again but if anything like I just experienced, or any other ENT issues, I would go back to Dr. Zeme's practice without question. I highly recommend him and his staff. This office's staff are very rude. They demanded a referral even though I have a PPO, and they wouldn't even tell me whether they have any appointments available! How does anyone book with this doctor?

This doctor is very rude and arrogant. I accompanied my dad to his doctor's appointment and he prepared in advance few questions to the doctor. My dad has a significant hearing loss and the reason for the visit was for clogging and buzzing discomfort on his ears and severe allergy symptoms (he already wears earing aids). The doctor was extremely rude and patronizing every time my father was trying to explain his symptoms. He pretty much dismissed anything my dad said based on his initial

The doctor didn't even examine anything ..he just rushed me out ..like I've waited almost half a year to book and save for this appointment .. very careless ..I recommend trying somewhere else
