Dr. Mark Ephraim Solomon

Dr. Solomon is a great doctor. He is very friendly and caring. I would highly recommend him (even though he is a Jets fan).

I highly recommend Dr. Solomon. Before and after my surgery he has been very knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. Additionally, he has always patiently answered my pages of questions, and never have I felt rushed or a bother. His office runs smoothly and his assistant is wonderful too.

Came to Dr. Solomon because of a broken foot after (stupidly) only doing a Google search on podiatrists. This is an honest review. My experience with this practice was that they only care about you up until the point you sign on for an expensive surgery, and then after surgery you're in a factory-style practice, you're a "unit" to collect as much as they can squeeze out of insurance, you'll only get maybe 30 useless seconds with doctor at follow up appointments, questions/concerns unaddressed, calls unreturned, you're basically under the care of a tech, doctor never checks to be sure cast was done correctly (which 3 times was not). Billing department is a complete disaster. Again squeezing as much as they can out of you and insurance by using incorrect codes, charging copays, and billing separately for 90-day follow-up appointments that were already included with surgery. Luckily, I found a more caring/ethical practice where I feel confident with the treatment and am finally healing.

As an RN, I am looking for physicians who have it all-expertise in their field, highly regarded by their peers, and are compassionate with their patients. I sought out Dr. Solomon for a second opinion and never returned to the first doctor! He is conservative in his treatment and will not rush to do surgery unless it's medically necessary.

Happy Foot day!!!

Dr. Solomon is always friendly and helpful. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

Let's start with the staff. They are kind, professional and make you feel welcome. The waiting area is comfortable and I have never waited more than 5 minutes. I have always been able to get appointments within a week of calling and appointments are scheduled into early evening so I can go after work. Dr. Solomon is kind, professional and funny. He listens carefully to all of my crazy questions and never makes me feel rushed. He is a great surgeon. I'm thrilled to be out of ankle pain.

Dr Mark is awesome. Knowledge, caring and patient

I suffered from chronic plantar fasciitis and ankle pain for most of my adult life. Around the time I turned 35, the pain began to get worse. From my first visit to Dr Solomon, I felt he was the right doctor. He spent time with me, listened to my issues and was through in his exam. Dr Solomon surgically repaired 2 ligaments in my ankle with amazing results. It's been 2 years since the surgery at the time of this review and my foot and ankle are great. I can't him highly enough!

Have been a patient of Dr. Solomon for four years. I have serious foot issues because of Type I diabetes. Dr. Solomon is very competent and knowledgeable in his field, caring and compassionate. He performed surgery on my foot 12/2016...I am very pleased with the outcome.

Dr. Solomon, I’m truly grateful for having you as my foot doctor – you took a chance on the calcaneal surgery, and I know I’m walking “normally” now because of you. It's amazing that a shattered heel could truly be put together again... you're a remarkable surgeon!

Dr Mark is an angel. He preformed emergency surgery after I fell . I was on vacation in Japan .Today I am Disco dancing again!

Dr. Mark Solomon is among the best and most caring doctors I have ever known. When faced with a plan from a hospital team whose interests were more in "checking the box" for a the surgical residency of a young surgeon with a one-size fits all surgical procedure, I reached out for a 2nd opinion and met Dr. Solomon, who presented me with a more caring and creative option that provided me with continued stability that has provided a much better result. He has my highest recommendation!!

My entire experience with Dr. Solomon has been exceptional. He has an amazing staff, friendly, concerned and personable. Dr.Solomon himself was direct, professional and made me feel very relaxed and assured answering all of my questions about my surgery. The surgery went well and my return visits were always met with the utmost care and concern. Dr. Solomons infectious smile and friendly mannerism made me feel very comfortable. I strongly recommend him, he is the best!!!!

I had never been to a podiatrist before but had a painful ingrown toenail which needed immediate attention because I was having trouble walking. I was able to quickly schedule an appointment with Dr. Solomon and didn't even have any wait time at his office. He was courteous, professional and put me at ease. He explained the procedure, anesthetized the impacted toe and surgically removed the ingrown toenail (very large and would have been a real problem). He was great and I will use him again

Dr. Solomon is an amazing Dr. and takes much pride in the work he does!! My mother whom is diabetic was very ill and spent 4.5 months in the hospital. Long story short she developed an infection in her toe which spread to much of her foot. The toe was amputated and it was very hit and miss as the infection worsened. Dr. Solomon did everything in his power to not only save her foot, but managed to get the infection under control, no other toes were amputated. HIGHLY recommend, esp for diabetics!

Dr Solomon is amazing ! I never thought I would walk again . I had surgical fixation lisfranc surgery. I am so happy that I found him he steered me right every step of the way . He is very very knowledgeable I recommend him very highly if any one has a foot issue please don't go to anyone else !! Believe me ! he is my new favorite doctor that's for sure .. and all the girls that work there are great they make you feel right at home they take very very good care of you there .

Dr. Solomon is not only medically excellent, but he is kind and caring and goes above and beyond for his patients.

My ankle was bothering me for a while and my sister informed me of a doctor in Cedar Knolls who could possibly see me for this issue. I was able to obtain an appointment prompt and with convenience to my schedule. Dr. Solomon was great, he is knowledgeable and explained to me my condition in layman's terms. I am very happy to find a podiatrist who gives you all possible outcomes from any treatment and gives you options

LOVE Dr. Solomon. He is professional, knowledgeable, skillful and kind. So is his staff. I never feel rushed and am impressed he always takes the time to really listen. My husband and I have been patients for years and always receive top notch care. We've referred many friends and colleagues who all give Dr S. the highest praise. Can't understand the negative posts here. Can only assume it was meant for the doctor that used to be in the practice with Dr Solomon but not there anymore.

Dr. Solomon is very knowledgeable, kind and caring physician. He educates his patients and has a very conservative approach to surgery. When leaving his office, the patient is equipped with top information and full understanding of his/her medical problem that brought them to seek his help.

I strongly recommend Dr. Solomon to anyone who is considering having surgery. I recently underwent bunionectomy and hammertoe surgery on both feet. He was very thorough explaining exactly what the surgery entailed along with information about my recovery. Not only that, Dr. Solomon was always available to listen to my concerns before and after the surgery.

Being a diabetic for over 40 years I have had several issues with severe infections over the past few years. Meeting Dr. Solomon and having him treat me was the smartest thing I've ever done. On two occasions I wound up in the hospital. One time I was told by the hospital's Doctor that I would unequivocally lose part or all of my foot. Dr Solomon proved him wrong! I moved to PR and when something comes up I text a photo and follow his advice. Unquestionably, he is simply the best!

He cancelled his appointment with us 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment.

Dr Soloman performed bilateral bunionectomies on my feet in 2008. The incisions were on the inner aspect of my feet left almost invisible scarring. The recovery was virtually pain free. I had the surgeries 10 days apart and was able to return to work in four weeks. His bedside manner was very comforting while being credidibly knowledgeable. Other then some swelling I experienced after returning to work, I have had no problems. I have always been grateful that I had the surgery by Dr. Solomon.
