Dr. Swartz and his staff are amazing people. My grandson was injured in a football game and needed rods placed in his humerus and shoulder. Surgery was in Oct 2021 Rods came out May 2022. His arm is totally back to normal and he is back on the football field already. I will forever be grateful to him and all of his staff. My 6yr old had a displaced tib/fib fracture and we were referred to Dr. Schwartz office. He was denied pain medicine and they could not give any tips or tricks for cast itching. The office has nothing "pediatric" about it from the atmosphere to the staff. Every visit we felt rushed as if we were wasting their time and they all spoke over my son. From the tech, PA and Dr. Schwartz. Horrible bedside manor, improper cast application and my son was even cut with the cast cutter after being told numerous times "it can't cut you." He was also told on several occasions "that doesn't hurt" when he was visibly in pain. There is so much more but after that and having to wait a hour and half after our appt time just to be put on a bench in the hallway for another half hour, we switched physicians. If you need ortho care, I highly recommend Tulsa Bone and Joint. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to hear more. My 12 year old son was hit by a car in 2016 and ended up having an open (compound) fracture of his tibia & fibula. Within six hours of being at St. Francis Children's Hospital, he had his first of three surgeries performed by the amazing Dr. Schwartz. I was SO impressed by not only how perfectly he performed the surgery but also his bedside manner when it came to children. I could tell Dr. Schwartz really cares about his patients on a personal level. I highly recommend him! Dr Schwartz has taken care of my kiddo a couple of times. Broken arm and most recently a broken leg. He is caring and spends time explaining the treatment plan and what to expect. Exceptional doctor and staff.

I could not imagine a more comfortable and personable place to entrust the care of my broken lil' one. We are from Tahlequah and the drive was well worth it. The whole staff including the nurses are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable in the field. Dr. Schwartz was amazing and kept me informed through every step of treatment and surgery. He knew exactly how to make my kindergartener comfortable. I could not imagine a more comfortable and personable place to entrust the care of my broken lil' one. I was SO impressed by not only by how perfectly he performed the surgery, but also his bedside manner when it came to children. I could tell Dr. Schwartz really cared about fixing my son's leg.
