Dr. Mark James Sakr

I don"t know if it's Dr. Sakr or his office staff, but I took my daughter to get a sports physical in August. I told the staff I had insurance but they informed me that for a physical, it's a fee of $40 out of pocket. I paid the $40 that day and left. Three weeks later I recieved a bill for $35 and it stated that the physical was $75. I called the billing depart who said that it was the office fault. The office has no direct line to ask them why I was lied to and charged additional money. I am furious to say the least. I feel like I was scammed by this office.It's not so much the price but the principle. You tell me a price and I paid it, and when I go home instead of calling me and said you made a mistake, you send me a bill for almost double the price I paid. That's sleazy and unprofessional. I'm a provider myself and that is never how you do business. Definitely would not recommend this practice to anyone.
