Dr. Mainous is extremely unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend him to even my worst enemy. Stay away folks!

He performed surgery and had an excellent outcome. Office and surgerical team was very caring. Highly recommend Dr. Mainous.

During my visit I was very sick looking for an answer for chronic nausea. A HIDA scan was done by my gastroenterologist with a completely normal 82% ejection and no stones present in my gallbladder. This man said this was not normal, and he was 90% percent taking out my gallbladder would make me better instantly. I asked if I gave him my consent to an exploratory surgery just to have a look at the organ, but not to take it unless something was dangerously wrong. Being sick and not in my correct state of mind I signed his cholecystectomy consent forms, and woke up with my gallbladder gone. I got a copy of the pathology report which revealed no abnormal findings, and I have NEW gastrointestional problems I did not have before losing my gall bladder. I am leaving 1 star because this man told me my HIDA scan was out of wack, for also treating my gallbladder like it was a trash organ than was indeed functioning properly, and making the situation worse. Hopefully this review will be a learning experience. My issue was resolved through chelation therapy, and vitamin IV treatments a few months later. Such a kind compassionate knowledgeable doctor. He made our family feel at ease about my grandfathers emergency surgery and did an excellent job. Will never know how truly grateful we are to him.

I have consulted with him for surgery I love the way he spoke to me about my condition and feel confident that he will take good care of me. Waiting to have surgery I will post again afterwards. My first impression is very good.

Best surgeon and nurse team in town. I would drive anywhere to be treated by these two. Dr. Mainous and his nurse Shelly are an unstoppable team. They show compassion and true concern for the patients in their care. The professionalism and attention to detail with these two is top notch. You don’t receive this level of care anywhere else in the medical field especially. I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of a general surgeon. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Mainous removed a very tricky hernia that had several complications. He did it perfectly and there was not any problems during or after surgery. My healing process was normal and I am most appreciative with his skill as a surgeon. I would recommend all family, friends, or anyone to seek his services. His office and support team are top notch.
