I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgeries with Dr. Liberman. I was negligent in putting off hernia surgeries in two different areas and was facing an emergency situation on a cruise ship as one of the two became much worse. Both hernias were incarcerated. Upon my return I saw Dr. Liberman and had double hernia surgery shortly after. The after effects were discomfort...not pain...and only lasted for 3 days when I stopped all meds including OTC pain relievers. He is a pro and a credit to his profession.

After dealing with an inguinal hernia for almost a year with the symptoms continuing to deteriorate, I decided to seek a surgical solution. After doing a lot of research my decision to visit Dr. Liberman was based on reviews from other patients with similar diagnosis. From start to finish my experience was nothing short of exceptional. My appointment I was handled with friendly and efficient help at the reception desk and my time with nurse Rebecca was professional and enjoyable. My initial examination by Dr. Liberman confirmed the diagnosis and after our discussion, I decided on laparoscopic surgery. My surgery was scheduled at the Surgery Center Of Naples and my experience there was exceptional as well. The operation was on time and I was released after three hours at the surgery center. Arriving home I felt a slight irritation but no pain. Even though I had a large hernia, I never experienced any pain! Ten days later I was off all restrictions and played a full 18 holes of golf.

Dr. Liberman performed a melanoma removal via incision and excision on my arm. Considering the situation, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He was kind, clear in his explanations, and his staff at the office as well as at the surgery center was first class.

We were so Thankful with Dr. Liberman and Staff from Joe’s beginning appointment to his post-Op appointment this week (11 days). Everything was explained perfectly and he was very thorough finding Double Hernias instead of the original larger One. The Surgical Center was also efficient… He had little or no pain, and could resume normal activity after post-op appointment. (Using common sense). I am extremely active and in very good shape and I shuttered at the possibility of being inactive for 4 to 8 weeks after inguinal hernia surgery, which is what my research told me would be necessary, even with the laparoscopic procedure. Because of my desire to get back to normal as quickly as possible, Dr. Liberman recommended laparoscopic surgery but cautioned that if when he got in the repair was more extensive than he expected, he would have to use the open surgery procedure. He said that with laparoscopic, I could be back to full speed athletically in 2 weeks. I was very pleased that he was able to do laparoscopic, but still suspect as to my ability to assume normal activity in two weeks. Low and behold, he was right! I was back on the golf course, the gym and pickleball courts in two weeks (. . . and the "bedroom" in only 10 days!) The Surgery Center of Naples was also fantastic! Thank you Dr. Liberman! I couldn't be happier!

Dr. Liberman repaired my multiple inguinal hernias much better than I could ever imagined. He clearly explained what I should expect and there were no surprises. My procedure was simply show up, be put to sleep, wake up and go home. I had no problems post surgery and did not need any pain medicine. I am completely satisfied with all aspects of my experience with Dr. Liberman. He has my highest recommendation to my family & friends.

He went in to the doctor's surgical center at noon and was out by 4 PM. He said they were very professional yet attentive and supportive. Dr. Liberman called me when he finished surgery to tell me everything went well and he was able to do the repair laparoscopically, meaning he would have much less pain and much faster recovery. Recovery went smoothly, just enough pain to remind him to take it easy and not rush. The doctor called him and his nurse called to check on him. I was referred to Dr. Liberman for a hernia. One office visit and I was scheduled on a date that suited me totally. Dr. Liberman is quietly friendly and explained the surgery completely. After my surgery I experienced discomfort rather than pain. The follow up visit was a quick inspection and a release to normal life. Overall it was a great experience.

Dr. Liberman is a fantastic surgeon. He is personable and willing to answer all questions, too. If you need a general surgeon, I strongly recommend that you call on him.

Repaired hernia. Everything was done perfectly. Back on the tennis and pickleball courts in 10 days. Highly recommend Dr Liberman.

Saw Dr Lieberman in March for an incisional hernia. I have worked in the medical field for 50 years and am a snowbird in Florida. I felt like a fish out of water. Did research on line and went to see Dr. Lieberman. Best decision - saw him fairly quick, surgery date was also quick and results were amazing. His preference was open surgery vs. thru a scope. I was not thrilled with that choice but went with his recommendation. Very minimal discomfort for a day and then switched to OTC meds. I HIGHLY recommend both for his skill and bedside ,amber.

I went to Dr.Liberman because I thought I had a hernia. He told me he didn’t think it was a hernia. While examining me I told him I felt a lump on my chest. He said I need to have a biopsy which resulted in cancer (male breast cancer) Dr.Liberman operated on me at Liberman Advance Surgical Naples Fl. I was told I would be in a lot of pain after surgery. Well I think Dr. Liberman has magical hands he did such a excellent job with my procedure that I never experienced any pain. His office and surgical staff are amazing. As for Dr. Liberman I would highly recommend him.

Exceptional

Excellent performance from start to finish with staff and Dr. Liberman. Not interested in another surgery but if God sends me that way I will seek out Dr. Liberman.

I went to Dr Liberman with a recently developed hernia. Initial visit was informative and I decided on the open surgery for this left Inguinal Hernia. Surgery was nearby in a complete surgery center, not the hospital next door which was good for me. Surgery came off on schedule without any problems evident after 2 weeks. Very minimal bruising and no significant pain after 24hours. Just left the follow up check up and all is good.

Dr Liberman recently performed Bilateral Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia surgery approximately 1 month after a falling incident up North. Social media directed me to this brilliant surgeon upon arrival to the Naples area. Both my initial visit and surgery scheduling happened very quickly. Post procedure, my acute pain had disappeared and now was a very very minimal discomfort for a few days. All of his staff were very professional during my visits as well as the Surgical Center top notch. 10 day follow up showed 100% success. Highly recommend this physician!

Recommended to see Dr Liberman regarding bilateral inguinal hernia repair surgery. On initial visit, he knew and explained exactly what needed done to repair. Took time to answer both my own & my wife’s questions. Laparoscopic surgery scheduled immediately at Surgery Center of Naples. Surgery went perfect. Just had my 10 day follow up visit and received clearance to go back to normal routine. Following surgery my level of pain was minimal and within a day or two it was non existent. Surgery center care and support during procedure was outstanding from arrival to discharge. I would highly recommend Dr Liberman & team. Thanks.

Class act all the way around: appointments on time, not rushed out, excellent staff, and very positive result for my rather large incarcerated inguinal hernia repair. Was cautioned to expect significant swelling and/or post-op pain, but I experienced neither. Almost as if I hadn't had anything done. Great job, and many thanks!

Had a laparoscopic hernia repair done by Dr. Liberman, and everything from the initial appointment through the follow-up was perfect. After the surgery, I received follow-up calls from his office, and if I had any questions, they were always quick to respond. Even with some of my more simple / "dumb" questions, those who I spoke with were always patient and very helpful. I have not had any prior surgeries, so I cannot really compare to any other doctor, but I cannot imagine anyone, or any office, being better.

Dr Liberman was very through & explained exactly in terms I could understand what my surgery consisted of & possibly any complications. I was very happy with the outcome & his bedside manner also. His staff was also very efficient & friendly. Everyone seemed to care about me.

Dr Liberman removed my gallbladder and from the first office visit to the final check after surgery I found him to be professional, and prompt. The laparoscopic surgery left minimal scarring and I had very little pain post surgery, and felt so good I almost had to remind myself I just had surgery! I highly recommend him.
