Awesome doctor, totally explains everything.

I am a patient of De Mark Jo for many years now; he is very good doctor and care for his patient. I am happy to have him as my orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Mark Jo fixed my broken femur bone and thanks to him, I’m back to living my normal life in less than 6 months. I highly recommend him to anyone that is experiencing difficulties with a broken bone.

Mark Jo is straightforward, no nonsense, yet kind and sympathetic. He’s incredibly experienced and knowledgeable and made mw feel very comfortable. Dr. Mark Jo was very rushed and abrasive during our appointment. I had suffered a shin injury as a consequence of overuse during my marathon training plan, but instead of examining my foot/leg or asking about any details of my training regimen, he spent our entire appointment (a total of 10 minutes) telling me how people who are not naturally athletes are susceptible to these injuries. The only thing I had the opportunity to say to him during our appointment was "ok". At the end of my appointment he referred to me as "stereotypical". I feel as if I left this appointment having gained nothing: no prognosis, no treatment regimen, etc. Dr. Mark Jo was very rushed and abrasive during our appointment. Dr. Jo put my mind at ease with regard to causes of and relief for my joint pain. He took the time to show and explain his observations on my X-rays and next steps for our partnership for healing. He seemed unhurried and took the time needed to answer all of my questions. Thank you.

This office is so efficent always on time. I appreciate the friendly staff. Especially Dr. Jo's Medical Assistant Rose, she makes the experience so relaxing & pleasant.

Dr. Jo was very friendly, courteous and thorough. He was easy to talk to and he made me feel very comfortable. I appreciated the time he spent with me and the information he provided.

I highly recommend Dr. Jo. The day of my hip replacement surgery at the surgical center went swimmingly. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Dr. Jo's bedside manner is warm and personable and is willing to answer questions.

The entire place works at double speed! However everyone was patient, kind and pleasant. I chose this practice because of how soon I could get an appointment, I was able to complete the new patient form prior online (although emergency contact was not required as far as I recall which seemed odd), and it's close to where I live. The "stand up" method of doing X-rays was great and easy, although I brought my own X-ray taken not long ago which was not reviewed. My knees were diagnosed at being in good shape, but one X-ray that showed an effusion was not mentioned. There seems to be a set process - X-ray, see the doctor for about 5 minutes, put on a brace, order an MRI the following week and then a follow-up appointment. If you would like more time with a doctor and perhaps an MRI onsite, you might want to consider another practice; if not, this place does have other pluses. The entire place works at double speed! This was the worse experience I had with a doctor. I took my son in for his appointment which was to be with a Dr. who no longer is at the facility. I understand that he took on patients. He walked in very rushed and had no manners. My son was frustrated as a lot a patients are since they are not well and working on recovery. He even said "so it's my fault you are here" I so wanted to tell him off. He would not have any employment if every single person had no injuries and were immortal. I have been attending the Huntington Orthopedics since 2009. My kids play sports and with sport there will be injuries. I have never had an experience like this one. If you need to see a doctor choose an other as I chose not to have my son be seen this doctor. He didn't answer any questions looked at the x ray and stormed out. The Medical Assistants were the ones who apologized. This was the worse experience I had with a doctor. Dr. Jo is an exemplary surgeon. He is very knowledgeable and skilled at what he does. He explained my husband’s surgical procedure in great detail and also discussed less invasive options. My husband chose to do the surgical option because it would be more beneficial for him long term. Dr. Jo showed great professionalism and great bedside care. Dr Jo is a fantastic surgeon who takes the time to explain each procedure. For having a tibial plateau fracture, I had the best possible experience and recovery. Rose and staff made an extra effort to ensure my needs were met. I've already recommended this team to a friend who has to have surgery.

Fast at checkin. Front staff uploaded my X-rays instantly. Saw Dr. Jo on time. He reviewed records and took time to answer my questions.

Billing staff is horrid

Wasn't given much information about the ache I had on my hip. All that he said is that it wasn't skeletal, but no referral for MRI or a doctor that specializes in soft tissue damage etc...

Dr Jo and his staff are awesome! Dr Jo has done three different procedures on my knees, the latest being a partial replacement. All of the procedures were well explained prior to the operations, and the follow up care was great as well.

I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Jo in less than a week after receiving my authorization from Lakeside; and he very promptly obtained authorization for my treatment. His office is very well organized and I was seen promptly at each of my visits. His assistant. Mona , has been very easy to reach by phone and very helpful to the entire process. I was also pleased with Lakeside for calling me directly to advise when the authorizations had been approved. All in all, an excellent experience! Dr. Jo is an awesome and knowledgeable doctor. Thanks for everything and your passion. God bless you . I got a total knee replacement less than 3 months ago and Dr. Jo has me up, the recovery was great and speedy. Thank you Dr. Jo for making me pain free.

No bed side manners .. Rude he will not do my 2nd knee replacement .. sent me home with blood ozing from bandage not a little blood either . .

Dr Jo is a wonderful Dr He helped the 93 yr old lady I help when she broke her hip She just turned 95, and doing fine I'd highly recommend him

My experience with Dr. Jo was and continues to be outstanding. If there's was a rating above 5 it would be a 10+. Intelligent, knowledgeable, through, answers all questions and takes all the time I needed to feel confident. Total hip replacement with the new anterior approach. Rapid recovery, less pain, little meds needed and hiking again after 3 weeks! I'm not sure of the above comments but my primary Doctor as well as the surgical nurses and anesthesiologist said Dr. Jo is the best! I agree!

I got a total left hip replacement (anterior approach) 0n January 2nd and am now able to walk over a mile without a cane. Love this guy!! :)

What a piece of work this guy is! If you want an arrogant jerk to cut you open and hopefully do things right then this is your guy! If you want a jerk who asks a question and can care less what your answer is then this is your guy! Then if you ask him to pay attention to you and not his IPad he'll get mad and leave like a spoiled little baby. What a jerk....and his staff hates him too! Imagine being unconsciousness and this jerk operating on you. Not me!

He was very hurried and rushed through our session. He left me worried that my health was far worse than I anticipated. I found him unapproachable and I am uncomfortable talking to him about what I am experiencing.
