I called this Dr.office today for a new appointment, and a receptionist answered the phone in a very unprofessional way and then asked me five questions about my insurance, She then asked me the reason for the visit, when I explained to her that I had a stye under my eyelid, she asked me if I was also visiting for any other health issues? She placed me o hold for a while then someone else picked up the phone and asked me what I needed????? I explained that I was speaking to someone who had already taken all my information and placed me on hold. She said that I was speaking to Melody and then she asked me to give her my insurance information and the reason for the visit. I asked her for her name (Since none of them cares to be phone professionals) and she said, Jessica. So I explained to Jessica that I have a stye under my eyelid, and she said we can not see you, and disconnected the call on me. I just hope that doctor Haywood knows how his staff is screening new patients, and if so, based on what? Excellent physician solved my severe glaucoma illness. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Great service.

Love coming here !! Dr Hayward and his wife are awesome eye doctors ! Lori the optician very knowledgeable. I sent my husband here too!!

Dr. Mark Haywood is Professional, knowledgeable, caring and patient. He is by far the BEST! My husband and I feel so blessed to have found him. The staff is AMAZING completing this wonderful ophthalmology practice.

Both my daughter & I had WONDERFUL CARE! My daughter had a more serious cataract problem and Dr. Haywood did her surgery and yesterday did the needed laser treatment on my original cataract lenses! He is a breathe of fresh air, thorough, expert at what he does and we are BOTH VERY pleased with his care. I asked LOTS of questions and he answered every one to my complete satisfaction! Other staff was GREAT! My last ophthalmologist was too OLD and incompetent! Read my other review!

The office staff as well as Dr. Haywood is very friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable as a patient in the office. I am scheduled for cataract surgery and I am very confident with the care I will receive.

Very good

Cataract surgery was fine but he didn't tell me about my bad glaucoma...now I'm almost blind... Don't go to this guy...
