Dr. Mark E Haverkorn

I’ve had a significant issue with internal resorption which led to extractions and implants in several teeth. Recently it happened again and I had to have another tooth removed. Let’s just say I’ve had some not so great experiences with a couple of other specialists - this time my dentist referred me to Dr. Haverkorn and I couldn’t be happier. His demeanor immediately put me at ease, he was extremely thorough and took the time to listen to what I’d been through. Dr. Haverkorn was extremely knowledgeable and shared great information that was comforting. In the past, I’ve had bad bruising, pain, etc. for several days after extractions. Shockingly, my experience with the extraction by Dr. Haverkorn was different as I had no bruising or swelling of my face or at the IV site. I took Motrin for a couple of days, but essentially it was a painless process!

Our visit with Dr. Haverkorn was perfect! He was very nice and took the time to make sure my grandfather received the care that he needed, we even received a call from him personally to check up on my grandfather after hours. Great doctor was willing to help me especially during the Corona virus situation.

Underwent a tooth extraction under light sedation a week ago by Dr. Mark Haverkorn. Post operatively did very well, no pain, no nausea,. Was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from him later that same night to inquire about how I was doing. Maybe my pain threshold is much stronger than others but I did not pick up my pain medication until the next day only because HEB pharmacy kept sending me text messages that my medications were ready, which by the way, I have yet to take any. I did not experiencing any pain, discomfort, or swelling, and was able to eat solid foods within 24 hours. Dr. Mark Haverkorn is an EXCELLENT doctor. He performed surgery on my son’s tongue to correct a severe tongue tie. His bedside manner, staff, thorough explanations, and attention to detail were incredible. He’s made such a positive impact on my son’s life (6 years old), and we will always be very grateful for it. The staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and professional. The office and exam rooms were clean and neat. The doctor was the most amazing. His treatment was excellent. His costs were unbelievably reasonable. Without disclosing personal information I must add Dr. Haverkorn went far beyond expectations in coordinating with two other doctors (one of which he recommended) as my case was complicated. He kept me well informed of his communications and was genuinely concerned about my health and well being. He even did this on the weekend. A wonderful surgeon for his part and a caring human being that went far beyond expectations when it came to my recovery. I would make him my first choice for any loved one. I cannot express my gratitude enough for all he did.

Dr. Mark saved my husband's life. What he had was a mystery but Dr. Mark didn't give up till my husband came off life support. My husband's face was the size of a basketball swollen down to his chest. He never gave up on him trying to figure out was wrong.Finally after 7 days all the swelling went down and he was released just 2 days before our daughter graduated. Hands down he is the BEST. Price transparency, quality of care, and a friendly laid-back atmosphere are the main attributes of Dr. Haverkorn's practice. I got a quote at another practice of over $2,400 for the extraction of a molar, and Dr. Haverkorn did it for $300 (as advertised on his website). He took the time to answer all my questions (which were many), and I never felt he was inpatient. His medical assistant and the rest of the staff are also great! I highly recommend him.

I'm not one to ever give 5 stars, BUT Dr. Haverkorn is worth every star and then some! My daughter had her wisdom teeth and two bicuspids pulled, and jaw surgery with him. He spent time explaining to us every aspect of each surgery. Now my son will have his wisdom teeth and bicuspids pulled by Dr. Haverkorn. He was very gentle and caring with my daughter and I have no doubt, he'll be just as caring with my son.

I had a consultation scheduled for my 2 year old. I was asked to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment, which I did, and then was not taken to an exam room for about 30 minutes. Once in the exam room it was like everyone forgot we were there. We were stuck in that room for another hour before the doctor walked in and spent about 2 minutes with the doctor before we were rushed out of the office. Not once did anyone in the office offer any sort of explanation for the delay.

Helpful and staff. Fast service. Dr. Haverkorn explained my options and answered all my questions. My visit was painless, fast and enjoyable.

He doesn't take the talk to explain anything, he is in and out like he is tooooooo busy for you.

He walked me through what the procedure was going to be like and I guided me through it. He was professional and made me feel at ease in the office. I would highly recommend him. In fact, I have to have another similar surgery and am going to go back him for that.
