Dr. Funt is best oral surgeon, I had an extraction at 8:00 am and worked the rest of the day without any problems and his staff is very friendly and professional.

Got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Funt. Dr Funt was extremely accommodating and explained everything that would happen. I was extremely anxious and he was really considerate of making this the best experience. He gave me some relaxers for the night before and day of so I could get enough rest and not be too scared in the morning. I also asked for laughing gas before I got the IV sedation and he also allowed me to receive that which I thought was amazingly thoughtful. As someone with a low pain tolerance I had no discomfort for the entire healing process except for the removal of the packing (which was just a tad bit uncomfortable) 10/10 recommended him! I have never been so disrespected by staff in my life. The xray machine took 10 minutes to turn on, just for it to not work. Do not go here

My Mom is 82 years old. She is a Holocaust survivor. She is also a breast cancer and urinary bladder cancer survivor. She came here for a consult referred by her dentist who took Xrays just a couple of weeks prior. When she came here, the staff told her they will be doing a separate set of Xrays again. My Mom explained that due to her cancer history she is really worrying about doing too many Xrays unless it is an emergency. She asked them to please call her regular dentist who could provide them with her Xrays that were taken a week ago, they refused. Out of desperation and with tears rolling down her face, she then asked them to give her a second to call her son (me) so that they could speak to me and may be come up with the resolution... They refused to speak to me even after she already called me and had me standing by! I heard them not wanting to take her phone until she literally bagged them over and over again... The front desk female then picked up Mom's phone and told me they will have to reschedule an appointment for another time weeks later. She would not even let me finish the sentence before she hang up on me while I was asking her if there is any way that they could simply get in touch with Mom's dentist to have the Xray sent over via email so that she could have her appointment she originally came for... All I was told was "I don't have to speak to you!" and she hang up. Wow... To say that the front desk person working for this doctor has no heart is an understatement. My Mom left shaking and crying. This was heart braking because I was out of state (the front desk female knew that, Mom told her) and I could not even give Mom a hug and tell her no to worry. We sure did find another Doctor for Mom who is amazing and who has made sure his staff understand that in medical profession you must have a higher standard than the guard dog at a scrap yard (that's definitely what it felt like while having to go through this ordeal with Dr Funt's front desk staff). To make this even more ridiculous NOONE, not the doctor, not the practice manager called to comment. You will experience personalized specific care and attention here. As for bedside manner; Dr. Funt far exceeds the bar. As a matter of fact, everyone I encountered, each time, was caring and polite. I developed dry socket. Dr. Funt went above and beyond to help me heal and find some comfort while doing so. A friend of mine told me I should’ve went to Dr. Funt when I told her about my complications. Ironic. His great reputation precedes him.

I was given an appointment for 3pm, arrived 15 min early. There were 15-18 people in the waiting room, I was told they were all ahead of me, seriously? I was there yesterday, but he needed to talk to my doctor, so I had to come back.

i had a very sore mouth that 3 other doctors couldn't help. dr funt took care of it rather quickly.

Dr. Funt is a very compassionate gentleman. No rush job here. Numbed me up really well and took into consideration my input as to an issue I previously had with another injection technique. Who thought... a doctor who actually listens to his patients. I thought I was on another planet. He's the real deal.

This doctor and staff would literally go through any obstacle to help accommodate and satisfy any patients needs. The bad comments on here must have been a misunderstanding or caught the office on a rare day because I have seen with my own eyss and own experience all they will do for there patients. The staff is friendly, smiley and trusting. The doctor is the nicest and is quick the few surgeries I have had were over before i knew it. Not only that but he doctor even calls patients personally a few days after surgery to make sure they are healing and happy and if tbe patient is nkt or needs help even if it's on a weekend or after office hours even during his lunch, the doctor will make time to see them and accommodate them. Would recommend him to anyone. Many of my friends and family members have used him as well. Very impressed. he did both my kids and wife's wisdom teeth, pulled a nasty one of mine too - it was a problem as it was a previous root canal and fell apart as they sometimes do with old dead teeth. Also my lower jaw is a tough place to get numbed properly. He said he has the same problem himself and just kept up with the Novocaine until I was happy. Everything came out perfect for all of us, not a hitch. Honestly an exceptional experience. From the initial consult to the post surgical visit, I must say that this practice is a gem. Everyone I came in contact with was just lovely. I went with TREMENDOUS fear. It was Dr. Funt and Barb who did my procedure and I felt so comfortable. Througout the entire procedure (cyst bx), their "teamwork" was nothing short of perfect. They joked a little, sang a little.......the ease they brought me was invaluable!

Dr. Funt was very professional and helped me relax since I am over 65 and never had a tooth pulled. Removal of a broken upper wisdom took was painless and quick. I think it took about 5 minutes. I was careful to follow instructions after the procedure and only ate soft foods for a week. My one week check up went great and now eating back to normal.

Dr. Funt was extremely gentle with extracting a tooth from my 83 year mother , who just had a 2nd tooth removed within the space of a couple months, She was hoping to have Dr. Mogyoros again, but due to scheduling she opted for Dr. Funt, she again was was well pleased. No pain, no worries, fast and gentle.. My mother really loved Bernadette who assisted Dr. Funt, she welcomed her and calmed her, even spoke Italian with her, she was very thorough with all instructions. Great experience.

Thank you Dr. Funt for the excellent care I received during my recent urgent procedure. Not only was my procedure handled very smoothly and as quickly as possible, but my anxieties were addressed as well. I appreciate everything! This is the second time I have had a five star experience in your office . For my sake I hope it's the last but if not I know I'm in the best place!

Couldn't even get to making the appointment! The receptionist was so rude and condescending. Was told I had a balance which was totally fine and affordable and was willing to pay. She told me I had to pay for the entire visit out of pocket bc of this balance and was irritated with me for asking questions. Great doctor. Gentle an comforting and even called me one night after the surgery to see how I waa doing and asked if I needed anything. Couldn't have asked for more.

Dr. Mark Funt puts you puts to at ease and is very gentle and professional.

This morning your office lost a potential customer (my mother) when an extremely rude and misinformed front office person incorrectly stated that the initial visit was not covered by Medicare.

Went to Dr. Funt to have molar removed after cap broke off. He prepared me for extraction and was fast, gentle and a very kind gentleman. Have to go back Weds, at his request to see how socket is healing. After surgery I had no problems. Thank you Dr. Funt! Lois

I recently had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled here and it was great... they explained everything to me and did everything pretty fast

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Funt and his staff. A few weeks ago, Dr. Funt removed my youngest child's wisdom teeth, plus 3 extra teeth, and it was not an simple surgery. He and his entire staff were thorough, compassionate and caring through the whole process. He called the day after surgery to check on her & the follow up appts were very thorough. Dr. Funt also took care of two of my other children's wisdom teeth and my own (20 years ago). Great office, great doctors!!

Was sent there by my primary dentist. I am the biggest sissy when it comes to dentist. It was a breeze. I actually had a growth cut out of my lower lip. The staff is wonderful.

I had to get a tooth pulled, and having never had that done before was beyond nervous. Dr. Funt and the whole staff were great. He was friendly, did his best to put me at ease, and he and the dental assistant explained everything to me before and during the procedure. I appreciated that they tried to distract me during the more uncomfortable moments, and continually checked in to be sure I wasn't in pain. I would recommend them without reservation.

Overall, Dr. Funt and office staff were professional and friendly. They took the time to thoroughly explain the dental procedure to be done. I would definitely recommend this office to family and friends.
