As fate would have it, one of my son's had to be rushed to the hospital my me, (his mommy) for what was later found out to be acute appendicitis; which led to a hospital stay, which ultimately led to him having surgery for an appendectomy. Said appendectomy was performed by Dr. M. Brown. The fate part comes in to play here when our oldest son was scheduled an appointment with Pediatric Surgeon's at South, and with the emergency with our youngest son, I had no idea who the doctors were; when I struggled to get out oldest son to said appointment, and upon entering the office of said specialist, it was apparent (once 2 and 2 were put together) that Dr. Brown had JUST performed an appendectomy on our youngest son, and was NOW about to physically exam or oldest son (whom has a chest wall deformity). We ALL had a great laugh at what had just transpired. Dr. Brown is an amazing surgeon, and has tons of experience! I would suggest anyone with pedi-aged children, take a shot at using Dr. Mark Brown, for their surgeon needs... For their children! Absolutely no complaints from THIS family!!! Thank you Dr. Brown!!! Dr. Brown is an amazing surgeon. Tragedy fell upon our youngest son, which led our family to cross paths with Dr. Brown. Then as fate would have it, our oldest son had an appointment with Dr. Brown, unknowingly it was the same doctor to perform our youngest son's appendectomy! What are the odds?! I truly recommend Dr. Brown for ALL your pediatric surgery needs!

We had a great experience from start to finish! I would like to say that our nurse Jerica was amazing!! She treated my son like it was her own baby she was treating. She answered all my momma questions and didn’t treat me like I shouldn’t be worried. She was so reassuring and comforting!

He was really nice and the nurses explained everything to me .
Visit went fine. Dr. Brown was friendly and hospitable. He explained our situation and what our next steps would be in a clear concise way. His staff was cheerful and happy to help.

Dr. Brown and his staff are absolutely wonderful. Dr. Brown has the best bed side manners and loves his patients. He was a godsend for us when no one else could tell us what was wrong with her.
My son has seen him since he was born with hirschsprungs disease. He's a great Dr! He has helped us through some hard times.
Dr. Brown & Dr. Caldwell were absolute Godsends for us! My precious grand swallowed some magnets, and they watched her so closely to ensure she was safe.
I have never seen a more unorganized Drs office! No-one ever calls back, and when you call to see why they act like you are a burden to them. Will NEVER use this office again.
