He is one of thee most wonderful Dr's I've ever had the pleasure of being under ones care. Respectful in the utmost. *UPDATE* This amazing Surgeon has retired. Other Dr's cannot even come close to comparing!!

I've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Brakstad 13 years ago and now I'm going to see him for a surgery. I couldn't feel more safe and relieved to be in his care. Out of all the doctors I've worked for in the past 15 years he is by far, the most recommended and complimented doctor by his patients. THE BEST surgeon I have ever met. I had gone to the ER MULTIPLE times with upper abdominal pain. Everything was normal MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Xray etc. I know my body, something was wrong. My Primary recommended Dr. Brakstad. This Man is beyond wonderful as he listened to my story I elected to have my gallbladder removed. I had no idea but I was born with my Gallbladder embedded in my liver! Dr. Brakstad dug it out and saved me from the horrific pain that I had been suffering with for years. Helped me in way more ways than I could ever expect. I have extreme gratitude for this man. He saved my life and is helping me sustain happiness.

Dr Brakstad is an exceptional surgeon, takes the time to explain things, is very attentive during post-op and follow up once home.

Wonderful Doctor! Great at explaining things. Has a Grandfather sense of humor, and loves to play with you. I hate Doctors because they don't seem to listen. Dr. Brakstad does. This coming from an old 60 year old Marine Diesel Mechanic. Would recommend him very highly.

Dr. Brakstad is genuine, thorough, brilliant, and an out of the box thinker from my patient's point of view. Additionally he is compassionate, kind, and treats his patients with the utmost dignity. After suffering for three years with right upper abdominal pain, vomiting, and chronic inflammation he solved the puzzle in just one visit. I'd seen several doctors had multiple tests & ultrasounds yet no one was able to make a determination until Dr. Brakstad. I am forever grateful!!
