Dr. Mark W. Arnold

He saved my life. Not a day goes by that I don't think of what he did for me. He is truly caring and an amazing surgeon. I have lived to see 5 grandkids added to my family, and enjoy a good life. He is definitely number one to me. Thank you Dr. Arnold and God Bless you.

This doctor does not give options or make the patient part of the decision even when the patient’s life is at stake. He left a tumor in My husband that was visible in the CTscan. He did not inform us that it wasn’t removed. He did not tell us there were other doctors who removed ALL the cancer. After 3 surgeries we discovered there were other doctors who would have removed ALL the cancer! What a waste of time! My husband is still alive because we moved to a doctor who cares enough to communicate. We should have started at the Cancer Treatment Center of America.

He is quite simply the best at his craft. I have had two surgeries with him (for different issues) and would not go anywhere else. He saved my life, and with far fewer complications than I likely would have had elsewhere. Five stars. Six, if I could.

My husband has Crohn's Disease. He had a scope done and was found to have a stricture in his osteomy. Dr Arnold was his surgeon and was told not to open up his abdomen. Well he performed the surgery August 2019 and couldn't go thru the osteomy itself so he reopened the abdomen against our wishes. This made my husband have a horrible operation and recovery. He also took him off the TPN because he was able to absorb nutrients. It turns out my husband couldn't and lost a bunch of weight and he waited until March 2020 to start tpn back up again. Since April 2020 my husband has to rely on iv fluids twice a day for 4 hours total. He didn't have a life this past summer. He had reconnection surgery with a different surgeon and is still relying on iv fluids due to Dr Arnold's mistakes.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Arnold. He was very professional, personable, and explained everything thoroughly. He essentially saved my life. His staff were all amazing and compassionate, smiling and very friendly.

Dr Arnold doesn’t explain options to the patient. He told my husband and I that his treatment was our only choice and did not explain that there were doctors that did the surgery different than he did. After the third surgery with Dr Arnold, we found that he left a tumor (six months earlier) His method was less aggressive, so he didn’t get the tumo, didn’t tell us, and needed to go back and remove it less than a year later! It showed up in the CTSCAN before and after the previous surgery!

Dr. Arnold saved my life 25 years ago, I was 26 years old with 3 small children, and colon cancer. He and his staff are caring, kind and intelligent. To this day, he remains faithful to his profession and to his patience, myself included. I have recommended him in the past and will continue to do so in the future. I love, love, love this man!

The Best Doctor in the World!!!

I'd heard of Dr Arnold's expertise from a nurse and a physician, who spoke very highly of him--one of the very best for colorectal surgery, and as a teacher of colorectal surgery. After two office visits, he advised and led major surgery on a family member, which was a life-sustaining success. He and his team were always encouraging in the way they answered questions and explained our options. Years later I returned to him for my own care, and have had a similarly positive experience.
