My experiences and visits ended with her actually saying (as she glanced over my test results)“Ewwww, I don’t like treating this, nobody ever gets better”! Off away alot as I recall too. There are much better Rheumatologists out there.

This has to be the most thorough, efficient and passionate doctor I have ever been to!

I saw her for less than 5 minutes and she billed my insurance $400. She did nothing. I will not go to her again.

Van Stouwe is not recommended. She is typical American medicine doctor, following the standard. She only knows how to treat symptoms as far as I see. She doesn't want to hear about alternatives.

Great care for my family. You don't find this kind of office any more. So much more comfortable and friendly than the big practices and hospitals

Dr. V patiently worked with me to diagnose my condition after frustrating visits with other specialists. I have found her to be intelligent and empathetic.

Did not agree with this doctors way of treating patients. She "treats" first and listens later. Treatments not tailored to patients specific needs.

Dr. V is the most intelligent and caring doctor I know. She helped diagnose me, and my monthly Remicade treatment at her office has been a lifesaver.

I found that after many years Dr. Van De Stouwe became much more irritable, judgmental, and nasty. When I went for a second opinion after her prescribed treatments were not working, she sent me a cold letter that I would no longer be her patient. I've never seen such unprofessional behavior in a doctor and I've been to many doctors. I found out that several people I knew felt the same way. I felt very betrayed by her actions.
