Lack of a visit. Confirmation weeks ahead of time. Confirmation day before. Appointment canceled day of due to an appointment at the hair salon. This is a follow-up appointment so my child can only be seen by her. Next available is 2 weeks later but what's the point if they're going to cancel the day of. This place needs to hire people that want to help families and their children with neurological problems. This place is highly not recommended. I would rather go out of network and see doctors that will put patients before their own pleasures.

A little disappointed when I made an appointment to be told Dr. Majkowski is no longer there?? That now Dr. Allen is taking her patients, and when I asked where did she go too they had no clue?? Seriously! You could not call your patients and let them know that you were vanishing into thin air?? Makes me wonder now what happened and if he truly got the right care, because no one just ups and leaves their patients unless forced out?? Dont bother wasting your time with her or her rude staff. The "Dr" doesnt listen to a word you say, she seems like she could care less. We took our daughter here ( an hr away from our home) to try to figure out what was going on with her and some major regression and behavior problems. All she kept saying was she has autism although we had already had 3 ados evaluations done by child psychologists and they all said no autism spectrum. She wasn't willing to look any further into what was going on with our daughter and didnt care what we thought or were concerned about. Thankfully we finally got answers at UofM after deciding enough was enough with Majkowski. We've also been told she isn't even at the office anymore... MIA now I guess. She's a quack. Dont waste your money, or precious time figuring out what is going on with your child with her. Wherever she is these days.. it's not worth it. Dr. Allen is great. We feel very welcomed and he listens to you! Also the "dad" jokes are fun.

The front staff is horrible she is not friendly at all. Took my daughter for an app after driving a whole hour to get there and come to find out according to her schedule I was 30 minutes late when I got a reminder call 2 day before the app telling what time it was so she turns me away I ask her to ask the doctor if she will see me due to the automated system error, she said the doctor said no. They have no feeling for the patient it seems like the provider doesn’t care about the patient because she could have gave us 10 minutes for the app. Never taking my daughter back there I rather go to UOM. Was referred after my daughter started absence seizures. She has been amazing and listens to my daughter as well as me. The staff has always been super friendly to us!

Dr. Majkowski was great when I saw her. I saw her and another doctor for a couple years and together they helped me. She and her staff were very nice. My mom and I were frustrated for a little over a year before seeing her trying to get a diagnosis and after another year and a half or so, they finally figured it out. I will not return. I’m writing this review in tears. I took my son, who is severely disabled, out of school...it’s raining, there was construction on my way. I walked in the door at 8:35 for an 8:30 appointment. They said it was 8:39, and apparently Dr Majkowski does not see patients after 9 min late. I carried him and didn’t get his wheelchair out to save time. The elevator in the building is slow. I am so disappointed. Totally heartless. My son deserves someone kind for his care.

Drove 4 hours one way just to get a office check up, no head CT Scans or anything else. Sent home to tell me that I need to keep a headache log for a month on my daughter and then come back. No thank you!! She has been dealing with headaches for 4 years and this doctor couldn't of told us to get a headache log before we went. My daughter told her, I have them everyday, been having them since the 5th grade. We've been doing everything the doctors say, eat more, drink more, sleep more, eye exams, and no one can tell us why she still has headaches. A waste of time and money going to this lady. If I had a patient come in that was having headaches for this long I would do a CT to see if there's anything I can notice to the reason of the headaches. Our family doctor stated that she was the best and to travel all this way for a pediatric neurologist because she's the only one around, excuse me, the best doesn't say go home make a headache log then drive another 8 hours in a month so we can go over it. No way. And when I told her that I was concerned about my daughter taking excedrin migraine all the time she had no comment. What?! Excessive amount of anything is not good for u. She's a sweetheart and really cares about the well being of your child!

She's not a strong decision maker. I've walked her through the best treatment for my son instead of the other way around. When asking her simple questions she seems clueless as to the answer. I don't have confidence that she would be the best caregiver if my son's treatment required complex care.
