Unfortunately, I cannot speak to the doctor's competency as my interaction with the office staff will never make me want to choose this doctor to treat my child. Another review here is correct; the office staff is shockingly rude. Especially considering this is a psychiatric office, her inability to speak to people thoughtfully with patience is extremely concerning. I called with questions to ensure the office will be a right fit for my child; nobody should be subjected to the kind of unprofessionalism, discourtesy, and disrespect from staff at a "helping professional's" office as I did from the one at this doctor's office. Allowing such behaviors by staff, who self reports to have worked with the doctor for a long time, makes this doctor/her office untrustworthy.

When I met Dr. Pena-Ariet, she gave me such a positive and nonjudgmental vibe, it made me feel comfortable. She was fair and made sure everything turned out perfectly. Thank you doctor!

Today I met Dr. Pena-Ariet it was our first meeting but I really felt just completely comfortable I felt like she was unjudgemental and truly cared listened was patient and feel she really wants and has my son in her best interest. I felt safe and trustworthy with my son in her care.

This dr. Can't deal with patients. She needs to move them through her office as quick as possible. She stopped seeing our family because it was to difficult for her.
