No bed side manner.Should not work with teenagers.There are so few pediatric endocrinologists in this area do no go to this one.Its worth driving out of state to find the right one.

She spent no more than 10 minutes with me. She “performed” an abdominal exam which was a few pokes in the stomach. She didn’t acknowledge the giant form I filled out. Every time my mom or I spoke up she seemed annoyed. I asked her a question about UTIs and she said “I don’t know”. UTIs are a classic condition you learn in medical school. Completely disregarded my symptoms because I wasn’t experiencing them during the appointment. I’ve had terrible doctors before but she was by far the worst.

Dr. D'Arcangelo was not prepared for the appt., which was ironic considering the list of tasks the office requires of the pt prior to office visit. She had no answers, barely even explained to my daughter what she was going to do prior to doing it. Dr. D'arcangelo then states that she can't look at x-rays on the cd I brought, has to wait till she gets to Hershey! Topped off the experience with a I'm leaving Hershey, so you'll schedule with someone else as f/u. I will be spreading the word!

I find her bed side manner to be rude. Having a teenager with Diabetes is already stressful. Dr. D'Arcangelo is insensitive and my child often feels the doctor doesn't believe her.
