Dr Pieniek is not only a good person ,but is a great doctor. I have had several family members die of heart conditions and I needed to find a cardiologist that was very good and that I felt comfortable with. He is the man.

Dr. Pieniek and his staff are warm, welcoming, and highly efficient. I had a very good experience, and Dr. Pieniek took the time to answer all of my questions.

I have spent 50+ years in the Laboratory Medicine/Hospital/Medical Capital Equipment arena, and as such have had the opportunity to work with thousands of Physicians in all medical disciplines, and Marc Pieniek is one of the most exceptional and caring Physicians I have ever encountered. He was recommended to me in a Cardiology consult referral by my Internist 15+ years ago, and has been there for me through a long arrythymia and valvular Cardiovascular journey to essentially total recovery after several complex ablations- to include the MAZE procedure intraoperatrively in my most recent open heart procedure, for which he provided a referral to an exceptional Cardiothoracic Surgeon for Aortic Valve replacement and two additional cardiac procedures. I have never encountered a more caring, dedicated, competent and committed Physician in all my years. Marc always takes the time to truly listen to his patients, and to always fully present and discuss options and answer not only patient questions, but those of spouse and family. Most importantly, he always provides an outlook of conditions, treatment options and guidance on what to look out for in monitoring disease or defect progression, so you are positioned to understand when it is time to take action, and he is always positive, supportive and there in even the toughest of times. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Heart Place and Dr. Pieniek. The entire staff is so sweet and Dr. Pieniek is one of the most attentive doctors I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. He listened to every concern I had, addressed every question, and I never felt rushed. I absolutely would recommend seeing him no question!!

Dr Mark Pieniek is a great doctor at the Heart Place in Plano TX. He is kind, courteous, and caring. He is genuinely concerned with his patients wellbeing. I have and do trust him with my life.

Been seeing Dr. Pieniek for more than 20 years. He is smart, conscientious and is meticulous in his practice. He takes plenty of time with you explaining things and answering your questions. Best of all his advice and recommendations are always sound and effective. This doctor knows what he is doing and does it well. I trust and rely on his advice.

This doctor is my husband’s cardiologist.My husband had a heart attack on January 4th while driving a truck out of state for his work. On January 8 we followed up with Dr P. On that date he told us he would run a number of tests then return him to work most likely at the end of February. So my husband applies for disability and this doctor tells the disability insurance my husband should of returned February 1st. When my husband spoke on the phone with the doctors assistant they said the can’t tell the insurance end of February unless we pay them $60. We accepted her “bribe” and say we will pay it. The assistant was suppose to call us back to collect the $60 but they did not call us back. Meanwhile the doctor told us something different than the insurance company and they won’t correct unless we Pay them to correct their own mistakes. Dr P did not call us back to get the $60. Update UNUM called my husband and said they Have approved his disability for February. We assumed the doctor corrected their statement. I am grateful that Dr P office chose to do that without collecting the bribe the requested 2 days ago. As a result I am upgrading him from 2 stars to 3 stars. I've been under Dr. Pieniek's care since the summer of 2019. He has a sweet spirit. I never feel rushed in an appointment. He's obviously experienced and knows the cardiology field. All questions are answered fully. He is kind and caring with no trace of arrogance or haughty manner. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Pieniek goes above and beyond to help his patients! I recently had a situation that was time sensitive. Somehow he was able to schedule me for tests in the hospital the very next morning even though I saw him at 5pm. I appreciate how well and thoughtfully he listens to his patients.

I have been his patient for over 6 years now and I absolutely adore going to my consultations with him. Dr. Pieniek is extremely thorough in his consultations and compassionate with the patient. Definitely the best Cardiologist in Dallas, Texas. I totally recommend his services.

I have been a patient of Dr Pieniek for almost two years. He came highly recommended to me from my friend who has been a patient since 1998. The care I have received so far has been exceptional in every aspect. He listens to all my questions and takes the time to explain everything in detail to satisfy all concerns. His staff is always very friendly and professional and always returns my call. It's such a comfort to know I have such a caring physician.

My husband, Tom, has been a patient of Dr. Pieniek's since 1998. The first time we meet Dr. Pieniek was when Tom had been admitted to the hospital with CHF. It was 11:00 PM, we were waiting anxiously to see a doctor and in walked Dr. Pieniek. After the exam he noticed I had a list of questions. He told me he was making rounds and he would be back to answer all of them. I knew then he was an amazing doctor and Tom will tell you Dr Pieniek saved my life! We are forever grateful him.

Dr. Pieniek is very compassionate and truly cares about his patience well being. I never feel rush and I can talk to him and ask multiple questions of my condition and concerns and his demeanor is always positive and welcoming. I am truly bless to have found a doctor that really cares about my health and ensure I am always doing well.

I came to him as 2nd opinion for a leaky valve. He explained to me and my husband the nature of the problem, far better than the other cardiologist I saw too! He used drawings and graphics to show me my leaky valve on the ultrasound machine. Definitely recommend Dr. Pieniek!

Dr Pieniek was the on call ER Cardiologist that came to my rescue 15 years ago,April 2001, at Plano Presby. First with my pacemaker implantation, and the aftercare of my heart condition of 3rd degree heart block. For 15 years now Dr Pieniek has listened and addressed my concerns with the necessary testing and medications. I feel better than ever and Dr Pienick gets the credit. Thanks Dr Pienick. !!!!!!
