Dr. Marc A Fritz

My wife and I were under the care of Dr. Fritz in 2020 for help with IVF and IUI. We had an incredible experience as an LGBTQ couple with everyone at this clinic. Dr. Fritz has an uncanny ability to explain things in layman’s terms and was extremely empathetic to our situation. Thanks to Dr. Fritz and his team we had a beautiful son born in March 2021.

I can not speak more wonderful things about Dr. Fritz and my experience at UNC Fertility. Over the past 3+ years of being guided by them to help grow our family, they became like family to us. Dr. Fritz and the team at UNC listen to your concerns and feedback, make sure you are comfortable with the plan moving forward, and "hold your hand" every step of the way. We have our miracle son through UNC and we are expecting baby #2 in December.  I am forever grateful to UNC Fertility and recommend anyone to this wonderful clinic! 

Dr.Marc Firtz is the best and a Godsend to us. During the course of our treatment time, Dr.Firtz has shown lot of empathy and is always positive which gave us the much needed ‘hope’. He is very clear in explaining all the treatment options and gave freedom in our decision-making. We are very grateful to everyone (especially our nurse, Kristi) at UNC Fertility for their professionalism, support and care in our successful (twin) pregnancy.

Dr. Fritz and his staff (especially Wendy) are a Godsend, we are so truly blessed and thankful that we came to UNC Fertility. Even though it was over two hour drive for every appointment, it was more than worth it for the level of care we received. Wendy was amazing, always answering all of our questions and even being there to hold your hand during the tough appointments. We can't say enough about how amazing the treatment was from UNC and Dr. Fritz, and we thank God for them and give them our highest recommendation.

After working with Dr Fritz for almost 4 years, we have a beautiful daughter and another baby on the way. I have never encountered a more compassionate, capable, or truly caring medical professional. He and the entirety of UNC Fertility set the bar for high quality care.

Dr. Fritz is a great doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable and answered any questions and concerns. After having multiple miscarriages and not being able to get pregnant again for 2 years, he was able help. We are now expecting twins.

Dr. Fritz is remarkable, he is obviously a leader in his profession and very much sought after and yet at each appointment he took the time to make me feel like a valued patient, he educated me on what was going on rather than just telling me what to do, he personally would respond to emails I sent him (incredible!) and within a day (unheard of for me with previous providers). Because of Dr. Fritz, after 2 years spent trying to get pregnant and working with other Physicians, we are expecting our first baby In November (after only a few months with Dr. Fritz) I adore him, UNC Fertility and of you've been struggling with becoming pregnant and feel you are lost, please don't give up and definitely visit UNC Fertility to get some much needed answers and support.

My husband and I came to Dr. Fritz after two unsuccessful IVF rounds. We were frustrated and dispirited but Dr. Fritz was hopeful and encouraging. Even though we had our infertility explained to us with our prior clinic, Dr. Fritz was an expert at explaining to us our situation and the odds. When we were unsuccessful with a third round, Dr. Fritz recommended a new approach -- not offered at our previous clinic -- and it worked. We are now expecting a baby in June 2020. During the entire process, Dr. Fritz and his outstanding staff remained positive and supportive. We highly recommend Dr. Fritz and UNC fertility.

We were referred to UNC by our doctor when we had reached the limit of his ability. Despite being initially hesitant about IVF, the staff and Doctors were kind, gracious, and worked within our ethical and financial boundaries to make a plan for us that met our needs and goals. They were respectful, caring and professional throughout the entire process. We were lucky to get to work with Dr. Fritz and his amazing nurse Wendy, but all of the staff and Doctors were caring, knowledgeable, empathetic, and kind. We walked a long hard road (with several losses) but through it all we knew that we were in good hands and that the only people who wanted us to have the gift of a child (more than us and our parents) were the staff at UNC. We feel lucky to count them as friends and can't wait to bombard them with photos of our little miracle on the way!

We had the greatest experience at UNC. Dr Fritz, our nurse Wendy, Dr. Coward, and the staff are all so helpful and personable. They gave us hope and were so helpful along our journey.

You can’t go wrong with Dr. Fritz and his team. You feel like family the moment you walk in the door. We had our ups and downs through treatment but they were there every step of the way. We now have a beautiful 2 year old and our newest blessing is 3 weeks old.

I put my complete trust in Dr. Fritz and his amazing nurse Wendy. They were absolutely fantastic from Day one. Communication and instruction could not have been better. I always felt taken care of...although they have hundreds of patients, I never felt like I was just a number. My husband and I chose IVF with PGS testing after many years of trying to have a baby. My baby boy is now 18 months old and I am pregnant with my baby girl. Dr. Fritz and Wendy are 2 for 2 with me! I could not recommend this practice more...they are fantastic. They feel like part of my family - I cried when I had to leave them.

Dr. Fritz is hands down the best doctor we could have asked for. While the entire staff at UNC Fertility is amazing, we are so thankful that we were able to rely on Dr. Fritz knowledge to walk us through this journey. He was very informative and took time to make sure we understood what he was explaining to us and to answer any questions we had. The nurses were equally amazing and replied quickly (even when they weren't at work) to answer any questions or put us to ease with any concerns. We had two failed pregnancies during our treatment and Dr. Fritz remained extremely positive that this was no indication that we would not be able to have a successful pregnancy. I don't know if we would have continued treatment had he not been so positive and hopeful. We are now 8 weeks pregnant and so thankful for Dr. Fritz and the staff at UNC Fertility!

Dr. Fritz and UNC Fertility will always have a special place in my heart and I will be forever grateful to them for helping me through such a scary difficult time in my life. Throughout my experience I never once doubted that I was in the right place and in the best hands. Dr. Fritz takes his time with his patients and always makes you feel like his priority. He is always a professional and always takes that extra step to make you feel at ease. Dr. Fritz and his team are the best and I would 100% recommend them to everyone!

In our humble opinion, Dr. Fritz is one of the best in it's class and we can call ourselves lucky to have him here in Wake County. We choose UNC and specifically Dr. Fritz after 3 failed transfers in other clinics. Even though we were close to choose a surrogacy he stayed remarkable positive and steered us towards a normal pregnancy. I'm now pregnant with 44 years old! No words can describe how grateful we are. Not to mention his clinic operation: You see in every step that there is a professional leadership behind his organization.

We went to Dr Fritz for consultation at UNC fertility. He was very informative and caring during our visits. He always answered patiently to our stupid questions and always has a smiling face. We are so glad that we found him. I conceived after taking the medication prescribed by him.

Second time using UNC fertility and Dr. Fritz is one of the best. Thanks for helping in conceiving my second child. My family and I are so grateful to you and the team at UNC. See you in 2 years.

Dr. Fritz & the staff are absolutely outstanding in every way. He is the best doctor I have ever had- on point, data driven, results oriented and deeply yet professionally compassionate. He runs the clinic very efficiently. I never felt they did too much or not enough and they were always focused on me. I am now pregnant and could not have done it without them. You can also compare clinics' pregnancy rate and UNC is top notch and #1. Their billing can be confusing but worth the care and quality.

Dr Fritz is nothing short of amazing. His level of dedication and care are seldom seen in this day. He is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, honest and skilled. He is motivated by his desire to help his patients, not by statistics he can put on a website. My husband and I were told by a doctor from a nearby practice that there was “no hope” of me getting pregnant. With God and Dr Fritz, I am now 9 weeks pregnant. Dr. Fritz is my hero! And his staff and the whole UNC Fertility team are rockstars. I was told by another doctor that there was ‘no hope for me’. Me and my husband tried for over 8 1/2 years to get pregnant, 4 of those years under the care of the previous doctor. We started seeing Dr. Fritz in April and I was pregnant by July! Currently almost 10 weeks pregnant. He is so knowledgeable, so friendly and so informative! This man didn’t miss his calling for sure! I couldn’t recommend him enough!

I worked with Dr. Fritz and UNC for more than three years. He was determined to help me and my spouse succeed in a successful pregnancy and that level of care from him (and the entire staff) made me feel so comfortable, particularly in the wake of losses and failed IVF cycles. I'm so grateful for the time that they took to really pay attention to my case (and me), which finally has given me a successful pregnancy.

Dr. Fritz is one of the most knowledgeable, caring and determined doctors I have ever worked with. He stayed positive and encouraged us through all our fertility ups and downs. Dr. Fritz is an extraordinary physician! He made us feel like the most special couple in the world. He worked to gain our trust and did everything he could to assure our successful pregnancy. He genuinely cares about each of his patients. Our infertility journey held 7.5 years and three fertility clinics. My only regret is I wish we would have found them sooner. Don't go anywhere else!! We were very impressed by Dr. Fritz. He has domain expertise, core competency and a brilliant mind. He made us feel comfortable since day 1. He took the time to listen and to understand the specifics of our case. He then outlined our options, recommended the best approach, and made us part of the decision making. Also, his follow up was great. He performed the transfer himself and took the time to call us to give us the results. We felt a great deal of support through this emotional process.

Dr. Fritz is a gift from God for anyone struggling to conceive. I am nearing the end of my first trimester, thanks to Dr. Fritz. You won't find a more patient, understanding and compassionate Doctor. I think he is the best RE in the Eastern U.S. , and one of the top RE's Nation Wide. I drove 3 hours to see him, and would do it all over again. He was positive, encouraging and honest. This was everything to me, and I wanted someone who was as committed as I was. Dr. Fritz was a huge blessing.

We would like to share our wonderful experience with UNC fertility during our journey of pregnancy. At the beginning I really worry about two things. Dr. Fritz is an easy going and caring doctor. I had wonderful experience at his office and recommends to any and everyone that is looking for IVF, embryo transfer and other infertility issues. After suffering multiple, unexplained miscarriages my husband and I decided to work with Dr. Fritz of UNC Fertility to investigate further. We simply I can't say enough how wonderful Dr. Fritz and the staff at UNC Fertility are. Dr. Fritz is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. He is truly invested in each patient and supports you through each step of the process. We traveled from two hours away to work with Dr. Fritz and his staff and would absolutely do it again.

Dr. Fritz guided my husband and I through 3 IUIs and 2 IVF cycles, and we could not have been more satisfied with the level of care and attention we were afforded by him and his team of professionals. He took the time to explain everything that was happening in appropriate detail and was always available for follow up questions if needed. His knowledge and expertise are second to none. You would be hard pressed to find a better fertility doctor in the Triangle area.

After a frankly traumatic experience with a doctor in another state, I came to UNC Fertility and Dr. Fritz with a lot of emotional baggage. From the beginning, Dr. Fritz was sympathetic and supportive. He reviewed our medical records and felt that our past doctor had made some questionable decisions. After a new round of IVF with UNC Fertility, I am now 17 weeks pregnant (on the first try) and have nothing but extremely positive things to say about the entire staff. I would highly recommend.

I am so thankful that I found Dr. Fritz and feel immense gratitude for the impact he has made on my life. I suffered from severe premenstrual dysphoric disorder that caused terrible depression the week before my period--it negatively impacted all areas of my life. Dr. Fritz was so understanding and knowledgeable, suggesting a course of treatment none of other endocrinologists I'd seen in the past had suggested. I no longer experience any of the symptoms and the effect has been life-changing.

I always had hormonal issues and was struggling with it..we had gone to many doctors but no one could do the wondered uchak Doctor Marc Fritz did. I would recommend anyone I know to meet him incase of fertility problems cos he is the best!

Dr. Fritz is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I have ever been to, I would hands down recommend him to anyone and everyone! My husband and I went through a lot of heartache to finally get our miracle thanks to Dr. Fritz and the rest of the amazing staff at UNC. He always took the time to thoroughly explain every decision we made and was amazing at keeping us hopeful along the way even through the toughest times. He cares about is patients and I truly feel he always did what was best
