I can't speak to the actual treatment - he treated a family member. What I can tell you is that his billing department created a lot of chaos and anxiety by turning over the account to a collection agency BEFORE they billed insurance. Insurance ultimately paid everything and there was nothing for my relative to pay but it cost us a great deal of time with phone calls to figure things out. In my opinion, this is fraudulent billing - would I have gotten reimbursed had I paid the bill that was over $1000 for a ten minute visit right away or would they have kept both my payment as well as the payment from the insurance company.....based on how things were handled, I am not confident that I would have gotten reimbursed without a great deal of work. Or ever. Look over your bills from him and stay on top of things.
