I had a gastric sleeve with Dr. Castro about 3 years ago. I remember I was getting prepped for the surgery and the nurses at could not get the IV started. Dr. Castro stated that if the patient isn't ready, we will move on to the next one. That made my whole continence change and I just felt as if Dr. Castro didn't care. Needless to say I had to get corrected surgery by a wonderful bariatric Dr. who took the time with me. I thing Dr. Castro was stacking them deep and selling them cheap.
I had a great experience with Dr Castro. I have had my lap band for over 8 years and was very well informed of the pre op and post op requirements in keeping healthy weight loss and maintaining it gone.
Dr. Castro was very attentive, patient and informative with all my questions.
awesome experience pre and post surgery
i had a few scheduling issues, but overall the staff and doctors were great and easy to work with.
