Manubai Nagamani

After researching many doctor's, I came across Dr Nagamani. I am very very happy with everything so far. She is very hands on and explains everything to you. I had my Tubal reversal on November 6, 2019 (Only One Tube). Will give update once I become pregnant. :) Update: Got pregnant in April and baby boy due January everything has been great so far with my pregnancy. Update: Baby boy was born January 19, 2021 healthy 7 pounds. Love love love Dr Nagamani. She is the best Update: Got pregnant with second baby, born May 25, 2022 health 8.6 pounds. After 13 trials of treatments with the help of Dr. Nagamani, at last I’m 14weeks pregnant.. I couldn’t update Dr. Nagamani on my progress since she has retired and her clinic is permanently closed right after my final IUI.. So, i would like to thank her here in this review!!

Rude and not responsive!

She isn’t very friendly and really needs to work on her customer service. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or she just didn’t care for us. I didn’t feel welcomed.On the bright side her receptionist was great!

Had a consultation 7/30/21,I get a phone call from the Dr. saying she couldn’t do the procedure cause she needed my medical records from when I had my son, (11 yrs ago) so she can see where the clamps where placed, so where I had my son after 10 yrs the records are shredded so she couldn’t get them. It was a waist of time and money, good thing I called I different Dr. to see what I can do cause I didn’t have my past medical records, since they specialize in tubal reversal they didn’t need my records cause they are able to help me. April 12,2021 me and my wife had an appointment with dr nagamani she did an ultrasound and told my wife she has a lot of eggs and that she could get pregnant that was good news to hear because my wife have had her tubes tied for 12 years now. After we left her office she scheduled us a dye test to see how much tubes my wife had remaining during the process my wife found out she only had 1 tube remaining but dr nagamani ensured us her patients still get pregnant. 2 weeks later we scheduled the surgery everything went well dr nagamani told us that her right tube is open and flowing now we are waiting to conceive I really believe dr nagamani will give us a baby great doctor !!! Very rude and didn’t like the attitude she call me fat will not recommend

The doctor is rude. No bedside manner. The staff was great and polite though.

I went in today for my first appointment, I was a little early. As I walked into the office the receptionist said that I was early and the doctor was running late. I said thats fine, does this happen often (I have been to other fertility clinics and its important for me to be with a clinic thats not always running behind, because sometimes you have to go multiple times a week before work or between work) she didnt really answer my question and was kinda rude and just said I dont know what to tell you. She than asked for my ID and insurance and gave me a paper and said can you confirm you're name is spelled correctly, I looked at it and said yes, she had walked away to get copies of my ID. She came back and with a tone in her voice she said you need to answer those questions. I answered the questions on the sheet. She gave me another paper that had like different procedures, I am not sure what it was. She asked me to sign this. I asked what it was, she was like just sign it. so i started to read the paper, and she got inpatient and was like its to bill your insurance, I was like ok but its blank so what exactly am I signing for? There was a nurse standing there and watching the whole thing. At that point the nurse laughed out loud and walked away. The receptionist handed me more papers to fill in my car while I wait for the doctor. I went into my car and started crying because we are already going through such an emotional journey, which will be a long one and having the right people who is nothing short of support and who can sympathize with us is important. She was very rude and called me fat probably 10 times or more. She even grabbed my stomach and said look at all this fat. Was very discouraged after leaving my appointment.

I walked in hopeful for my first appointment. I got put in exam room 1 where I waited to meet the doctor and where I would have an ultrasound done. I'd say I waited in the exam room about 30 minutes and during that time I sat there looking around the room that was filthy and very warm. All I could think about was how much bacteria was in that dirty room where I was supposed to get a vaginal ultrasound. Before the doctor even came I went back up to the front desk to get a refund for my copay because I just couldn't have anything done in that nasty office. I've been coming since December, after reading other reviews I can see where they are coming from. It is kind of dark and gloomy and needs to be updated. I wish they had manual blood pressure cuffs, I have had to wait a few times like others have said, however we have been trying for 4 years and now im 6 weeks pregnant and she did it without iui and trying to keep my costs down. so regardless of my experience I'm over the moon with this dr! The experience I had while being treated at Dr. Nagamandi’s office was nothing short of amazing. I truly thank God for her and the staff. They were patient, listened to all of my concerns from day 1. The doctor asked questions specifically about my fertility journey. She customized a plan based on my issues & we attacked them head on. I am pleased to say that I conceived the first round! Praises be to God for blessing and opening my womb after all these years and guiding me to this particular doctor. The staff always answered all my questions and were friendly. The journey was new but the doctor and staff made me feel comfortable & confident that I would be ok. UPDATE: Our precious baby boy was born 12/10/19. He was a very healthy 9 lbs 3 ozs. I recommend Dr. Nagamani. She is wonderful and knows what she is doing and talking about. Starting my process for tubal reversal this month. I have to say the stafg and doctor are amazing. The doctor is very amazing and caring. She talkd to you and is very blunt and honest. She has personally called me, her nurse wasnt the one to talk to me it was the doctor! She doesn't treat you like a number. She treats you like an individual human being. Her prices are very reasonable and i recommended houstonbay fertility to anyone and everyone. I will update after surgery! UPDATE 7/8/2019 Surgery was March 17 2019. Physician hospital is absolutely amazing. I have not become pregnant yet but I am very hopeful it will happen soon. Surgery went well and I healed quickly. It hurt to move around the day following my surgery but that is normal. I was bed bound for about a week but was so eager to move around as I thought I would heal faster. I pray we get pregnant soon but in all actuality my husband and I have been trying two months after surgery so 2 months of tracking ovulation and taking prenatal and folic acid. She first gave me an ultrasound to see where I was And to also see if I was a candidate followed by a dye test to make sure that both of my tubes were open. To my surprise I only had one fallopian tube still functioning (the right one). Dr. Nagamani assured me that she had patients to get pregnant with one tube all the time. ***UPDATE*** I went to another Dr. close to the town I'm currently in and had the same services done. My out of pocket was $53 not $205 because my coinsurance was 20% since I reached my deductible back in February. When visiting Dr. Nagamani, she just had me pay up front as a "self pay" patient when in fact I have insurance. And now it's going on 4 weeks and her claim still hasn't been submitted to my insurance. It's been a little over 3 weeks and my claim has yet to be submitted to my insurance. I did receive THREE "Restricted" calls from Dr. Nagamani with a voicemail stating she would reimburse me and yet...Still nothing. She did mention that I hadn't met my deductible....Which I met my deductible in February of this year when I had surgery. We'll see what happens next. Wouldn't recommend for individuals out of town. She's all about money and the wait is almost 2 hours long and that's with an appointment. Very negative attitude. Only good thing is that the front desk individuals are nice. Make sure they run your claim through your insurance so you have documentation that their services aren't covered. Just seen her Friday the 14th. of September. Dr, Nagamani is a wonderful dr., she found I have a tumor on one of my ovaries, she referred me to another dr to have it removed, after surgery I went back with her, and on my 3er month treatment with fertility pills, I Got pregnant, my husband and I are beyond happy, we are extremely thankful to her. :)

Great Experience with doctor Nagamani. I really believe god put her on my hands. I was been seen by another fertility doctor and was presenting signs of another miscarriage. I always called the nurses worry about my symptoms. The answer nurses gave me was "that can be normal" when I knew it was not. It was not until I receive a call from a nurse with my progestorene results saying they had went down a little. Nurse said that it can sometimes happen. I felt things were not right and decided to search for another fertility doctor ASAP. That same day I reached Doctor Nagamani, she was able to see me that same day. Since that day everything changed for the better. I was prescribed progesterone suppositories and the pregnancy began to progress and everything was and is going well. Dr. Nagamani is very good at what she does. If your desire is to get pregnant, she knows what to do to make it happen. We were successful in conceiving and received great prenatal care for the first 2 months. I highly recommend.

After trying for so long, Dr. Nagamani helped my husband and I become pregnant. She works in a small office and does everything herself. Which I like! It creates a more personable experience. I am very thankful for her and her staff!

I had a loss in 2014 and went to her after my sister reccomnded her. I was pregnant within two months and had a healthy baby girl in 2015. Going back soon to hopefully repeat the success. Love her and she’s truly cares about everybody patient she’s meets.

After months of searching for the right doctor, my wife and I came across Dr. Nagamani. We have always been treated like family and are now expecting a little one of our own. The care and attention that they have given us is more than we could've asked for.

I love love love her !!! Thank God for good doctors like her. She knows her stuff for sure! She did my tubal reversal which left a small thin scar ?? Recovery is like any surgery, takes time but the possibility of getting pregnant again is worth it. Reasonable Pricing!!! Your success is hers as well so she will do all the necessary tests, try what's best for your situation, and follow up until you're pregnant. I completely recommend her to anyone looking to get pregnant.

Dr.Nagamani is a great doctor. My wife had PCOS and she started diagnosing from May 2016 and my wife finally got pregnant in Feb 2017. She monitored and guided us step by step. If we had any questions, she was there to answer our questions. I would strongly recommend if anyone has infertility problems.

Dr Nagamani is a great doctor, most experienced and knowledgeable PCOS and Infertility specialist in the Houston area. We had our first baby with her and we are trying for the second one now.

Being diagnosed with PCOS in the past and family history of it, wanted to make sure I found a fertility specialist that could treat my condition. She is extremely knowledgeable with PCOS and treated me as if I were her only patient. After 3 months under Dr. Nagamani's care, we are expecting! She knew right away that I would need to have a progesterone supplement to help prevent miscarriage during the 1st trimester. She has seen me every 2 weeks checking the baby's development. Dr. Nagamani worked with us even though I had complicated pregnancies in the past. She made me feel very confident that this time would be successful. She was only able to reverse one tube from my tubal ligation, but she obviously did a great job because I'm 14 weeks pregnant and it only took us 5 months!!!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Nagamani for a few years. We had an IVF procedure done almost 5 months ago and we are proud to announce we are having twins. Dr. Nagamani is an excellent person, caring, and honest. She still makes the time to check up on myself and the babies. She also took the time to help me find a doctor closer to home that has experience with twin pregnancy.
