Changed my primary care physician for the first time in thirty years years today, and feel very comfortable with my choice. Dr. Schlotzer is a great listener and I was very impressed with not just her but also the other members of the staff I dealt with especially Dana. I look forward for this relationship continuing to grow as a team effort and I thank both Doctor Schlotzer and Dana for making this transition as seamless as possible.

Dr. Schlotzer's office manager canceled my new patient appointment because I was ten minutes late. She had no valid reason for doing this. No one was in the waiting room except me (now I know why).. She told me that Dr. Schlotzer had just gone in the patient room of the patient before me. She told me that Baptist requires they see 28 patients a day. If they take hour off for lunch, this gives them only 15 minutes per patient.. (28 patients x 15 min=420 min/60 min=7hrs) If Dr Schlotzer had just gone in patients room before me, Dr Schlotzer would presumably spend at least 15 minutes with that patient. Therefore, this office manager had 15 minutes to take me back to room, weigh me, take my blood pressure and temp. That was plenty of time for her to get me ready to see doctor. Instead she cancelled my appointment. She could have cared less when I told her that I had just spent two hours filling out their forms and driving to their office for this appointment. Everyone knows you never know how long it will take you to drive from Butler overpass down A1A about five miles to her office. I was ten minutes late because there was bumper to bumper traffic on A1A due to heavy construction trucks pulling in and out the area where they are building new retirement homes. In addition, cars had to pull off road because several fire trucks and emergency vehicles had to get by. Consider, how unkind this woman was.. So after thinking about it, I realized that this office manager just used my being ten minutes late as a pretextusl reason to get rid of me as a patient. The real reason was because I was elderly. Most new doctors don't want elderly people as patients because the have much more serious problems and take up more of their time. I had seen her for a little while. She progressively go more aggressive with me. I started having more real health problems after having Covid and basically most answers where I needed to work out and eat less. It’s not like I was skinny before Covid. I kept saying I think my hormones are all off. She just kept saying that I couldn’t check my hormones while I had an iud (that’s not true, you need balanced hormones even while on birth control) and oh man my anxiety was a nightmare with here. She would basically yell at me why are you having anxiety… again that’s not how anxiety works. It can be about anything and nothing and everything. I left in tears more then once. She treated me like a drug seeker. So I went to a new dr and guess what my testosterone was in the teens which causes weight gain, anxiety, loss of all energy, high blood sugar. Everything I was complaint about. But because I’m fat I was just judged and not listen too. Do better.

Dr Schlotzer is the best primary doctor you can get! So compassionate, on the ball and always available to her patients. I highly recommend Dr Schlotzer

She is a excellent Dr.schlotzer is very professional and really cares about her patients.

I just had my 1st appt here and WOW!! Everyone that I came in contact with was super nice. Dr. Schlotzer asked questions, listened and took her time with everything. She even threw in her sports medicine knowledge and told me how to fix my neck. Wonderful person and a great staff.

I highly recommend Dr. Schlotzer! She has excellent bedside manner, really listens to your concerns, and allows you to be an advocate for your own treatment plan. Her office staff is super friendly and the office is very clean and inviting!

New to Jax and picked Dr Schlotzer who was thorough and has great bedside manner. I highly recommend her. Kimberly at the front desk was great as well. Was so nice to see personable kindness and a welcoming presence! Thx you guys!! ????

Dr. Schlotzer is amazing. I moved to St. John's County and wanted a doctor near my job at the time. The first appointment I had with her was the BEST first appointment I have ever had with a Primary doctor. I have a complicated medical history with numerous surgeries from an accident years ago and Dr. Schlotzer has been amazing through it all. I've only been going here for about 2 years. But, I def have a new home. Believe me, there are lots of doctors in St. John's county but her approach to my problems was exactly what I had on my mind and the fact that she nailed it on the head, earned my business and respect. Disappointing. This doctor is not as thorough. Physicals are not real physicals. More like a courtesy checkup with some labs.

She is amazing!

New patient here but so far my experience has been more than stellar. I had trouble for months finding a family Dr that would take my Insurance but luckily I found a lady named Jacinda that works here an she was Soo helpful an knowledgeable. Plus she was super nice made my intake so easy helped me the whole way. Told me things my insurance never would. Just an excellent example of healthcare worker should be towards patients. Shes awesome to say the least. My Dr Schlotzer was yhe same way. Very nice great bedside manner. And biggest thing she listened to me. Think I finally found a home lol. Dr. Schlotzer and her staff are hands down the most professional I have seen in the LONGEST time. I highly recommend this very well run office.

Dr. Schlotzer has been my doctor for a year now. She listens, and actually makes it known she cares. I have a few mental health issues, the concern she shows when I’m feeling down is almost “motherly”. She’s awesome. I wish everyone had the chance to have a doctor like her. It’s reasuring knowing that she will be my doctor for a long time.

Very friendly, takes time to meet and talk about medical history. In depth review of previous medical history and needed testing for updating of current possible new problems. Excellent Dr. Listens to your concerns. Really tries to find the reason for the problem. Highly recommend her.

Waited 30 minutes to see her as a new patient after prev phone screen. PA called me in to a room to tell me the Dr. didn't want me as a patient because of a letter a former primary wrote about me whose practice I voluntary left! She didn't give me the courtesy to present my side of the story and refused to speak to me. I took a day off work for this? Later, read VERY NEGATIVE reviews about her on another website. Was truly a blessing; I have friends that are fed up with her and looking elsewhere

Dr. Schlotzer is professional, seemingly concerned about your well being and eager to help with any issues you are experiencing or are concerned about. I trust her.

I think Dr schlotzer was very patient and understanding. She helped me with all my needs as a doctor and I would recommend her to anyone I know.

Very thorough and professional. Dr. Schlotzer actualky took the time to not only listen to all my concerns, but address them all as well. Highly recommended.
