Dr. Luis Oliva

I found this doctor to be unsympathetic and unhelpful with my daughters active tummy issues. He continues to recommend Milk a Magnesium each visit and the pain just keeps intensifying . I inquired about diagnostic procedures and was met with resistance.

Horrible! Dr. Oliva is the worst doctor ever. His license should be revoked.

Very thorough and honest. He didn't rush to recommend invasive and costly procedure like colonoscopy. My son is doing great now.

Dr Oliva has been seeing my daughter over the past 6mo. He has been great and the staff is outstanding. We have recommended him to a few of our friends and they have all been happy. We will continue to recommend him and will not hesitate to return to him should our daughter develop any stomach problems.

The staff and doctor were very nice and accommodating. The doctor even answered questions I had about my other son. One of the few doctors that still cares. He gets my thumbs up and recommendation.

I would never recommend dr Oliva or his practice to treat any patient. He has poor bedside manner, and quick to rush into a slew of tests because my daughters weight was lower in the morning than in the afternoon. His office staff is rude and unprofessional, losing referrals and telling us they were out of network when her insurance carrier said otherwise. Now we are switching practices and they want to charge us money to send her records to the new dr. Take your child and your money elsewhere.

Dr. Oliva made a snap judgment of my child based on a first appearance and pretty much focused the entire consultation on saying my son is fat. He wants me to hide food from him, give him stronger than necessary doses of ADD medication so my son will eat less, and give him fiber so he eats half the amount for dinner. He barely touched upon the reflux issues. He did notice I was getting upset so I told him that he is focused on the wrong thing. He never asked what my son eats, or how much.

Great staff and doctor. I was cautious at first after reading some of the reviews, but I have to say that he spent more time with us than any other doctor. I brought in my daughter for belly pain. Not only did we discuss my daughters problems, but we ended up discussing some of my stomach issues and suggest that I see a gastro for adults. VERY CARRING

Dr. Olivia has been wonderful thus far in treating my sons reflux. Very knowledgable in this area of medicine, as well as pediatric medicine in general. Office staff is always pleasant. Visits are quick with little wait time. We are usually in and out within 30 minutes.

Dr. Olivia was great. I had been struggling with my baby for 2 months and her pediatricians did not make any suggestions. After talking through her symptoms, my daughter had relief the same night after our appointment. He is genuinely nice and takes the time to listen.

Dr. Oliva is the best option in the area. I am completely satisfied with his treatment and he has fantastic bedside manner.

My appointment with my child couldn't have gone any better. He's attentive, respectful, and the BEST bed side manners in any doctor I have ever been to by far. My child felt the most comfortable with Dr.Oliva than any other doctor I've had to taken him too. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs to be seen by a pediatric gastro.

I have been going to Dr Oliva for several year and I have been extremely happy. He has been treating my daughter and has always been patient and caring. His staff is also good. I was shocked to see the comments left on some of the reviews. I have recommended him to other friends and they have been happy. I will continue to recommend him.

The most complete history and exam that my son has ever had. He even discussed things that his pediatrician has never discussed with me. As a first time mom this visit was very helpful.

If I could of given ZERO stars I would of. I took my son there 3 years ago for a visit and decided we did not have to go back. My insurance had a copay and I paid nearly $300 for a 15 minute visit. Weeks later I get a letter asking for more money, $24. Called the office they said they did not charge enough and after a long discussion they would waive it. Three years laters my wife wakes up to a call from the collection agency. They sent me to collections without warning. Thank you Dr. Oliva.

He was knowledgeable and did well with my 2 year old son, but I did not feel welcome with him. His bedside manner could use some work. If you work with children and their parents, you need to be able to relate information to this in a more sensitive, tactile manner.

horrible experience, rude, very immature, brought my child to tears when very graphically and in a menacing manner, poorly explained procedure

horrific experience, this individual should have his license taken away, in the very least should not be allowed to work with children, please do think twice before selecting this doctor
