I have been in pain for at least 5 years. I've had multiple spine surgies in Manhattan. I thought I would try a provider close to home. I'm pain free. Enough said and thank you

I found Dr. Fandos to be very interested in helping your situation. The staff, however is a nightmare! They gave me the worn pre op instructions s and had to run around at the last minute to get all the necessary testing. after the procedure, I tried to leave a message for R. Fandos, but was on hold and di connected- I do no think Dr. Fandos ever got my message.

Dr is good but the office is poorly managed, you call and it’s impossible to get through. You leave messages and no return calls. Not sure what goes on in the office.

I’ve had two mild procedures done by Dr Fandos both have been very successful I’m ready to dance he is spectacular

Once again, in over the past 15 yrs or so, i have been using Dr Fandos, he is able to manage my pain that no surgery, and I have had a few, has been able to fix completely, and without him I would not be able to do daily activities. Dr Fandos has been my doctor for over 12 years and has helped me to have a better quality of life! After a fall on the winter ice left me with ruptured disc's, combined with the fact I suffer from Sjogrens Syndrome... An autoimmune disease that attacks my muscles and joints. Dr Fandos has helped me to continue to live my life with specific procedures that have targeted my areas of pain. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of pain management. Dr Fandos is very caring and always concerned about his patients.... He's the Best!

Dr Fandos is a fantastic doctor it is a shame his staff is the opposite. If you want to get frustrated and ignored by all means TRY to make an appointment with him. The staff could give two craps about your needs therefore making it impossible to get proper care. When you do get in touch with them they are rude I’d love to discuss the many issues I’ve had with him. It is a shame because he is a wonderful Doctor with the proper staff he could have even more success.

Dr. Fandos has treated my cervical stenosis for years. I have done everything possible to avoid surgery. From facet blocks to RFA he has been with me every step of the way, explaining everything to expect, everything I need to know, but the pros and the cons. I really trust and appreciate him. He is dedicated and hard-working, but always find the time to answer any questions. I honestly believe I would be in very bad shape if it were not for his care. He takes his oath seriously.

Dr fandos is amazing. Unfortunately you never get to see him. You get to deal with one of the PA's they do not return phone calls, they constantly under medicate. Or they call in prescriptions that are not covered by insurance.They constantly call in prescriptions for me that all 450 or $460 each for a 30-day supply. All my other doctors that I deal with and there are many always have a general idea of what the medications will cost and do not waste precious time. It is unfortunate that we are subject to these rules and held hostage by pain management doctors when we are in pain. Dr fandos is amazing. Unfortunately you never get to see him. This office is horrible. The staff makes him look real bad in bayshore. Bad scheduling, and God forbid due to the epidemic that a person with no drug history has refused pain medications and wants surgery to actually have a real diagnosis. Whoever reads MRI is no capable. I was given cymablta and was literally told if I feel happy the pain should go away. So with my neck fused together from 4 to 7 a bulge above ther surgery a herniation at the surgery point and a bend that is touching my esophagus, would mean I need aleve... this office Is a joke and it's sad he was highly recommended by physicians I respect and are great at being helpful an not looking FOR INS MONEY.. Dr Fandos is an amazing Dr. Brilliant kind hands of gold with procedures after bilateral knee replacements and riddled with osteoarthritis, I knew Dr Fandos was the best Dr around. Have been going to Dr Fandos for many years and always been treated extremely well by him as well as his assistants. I have through the years recommended several friends and relatives who are also pleased by Dr Fandos. I trust his recommendations for course of treatments. I have never been steered wrong. Treat you like you are an indigent. Finish your concerns and give you ultimatums that back you in a corner.

THEY ARE DECEIVING ABOUT YOU TREATMENTS YOU ONLY REALIZE AFTER YOU RECEIVE ALOT OF BILLS. HE CAN'T REALLY FIX THE PROBLEM JUST PUTS A BANDAID ON IT AND YOU GO BACK. I WOULD ASK ALOT OF QUESTIONS BEFORE STARTING. IT'S UNFAIR. YOUR BROKE.

Hes an excellent docotor, however his office never picks up. If you need an appoitment, go to his office and set it up. Ive been on hold every time for 30 mins or more and it seems its better just to take the trip out and visit the office yourself. He needs new office workers.

Dr. Fandos has been instrumental in diagnosing the source of my pain and providing treatment to restore my quality of life on several occasions for many years. He is a caring doctor who is always available to discuss your pain and available treatment options. I have referred several others to him and they have had success as well. He is one of the best in Pain Management.

Couldn't turn my neck without pain. Tough driving! My wife had this procedure a few years ago and she got great relief so I elected to have cervical radio frequency also. Dr Fandos performed the approximately 10-12 minute procedure easily, and precisely located the nerve endings that were causing the pain. I didn't realize he was finished until the assistants began removing the covering from my back and neck! We've always had positive experiences under Dr Fandos's expertise and care and highly recommend New York Spine & Pain Physicians.

My wife have been seeing this doctor for almost three years. The only time he would see her is when the office schedule a procedure at the hospital. The office staff is uncooperative and unempathetic, very slow in processing requests to get a follow up call or refile on medication. I would never recommend the office to anyone. DR. FANDOS IS A MIRALE WORKER. I have taken the Cryogenics frozen procedure for my left knee prior to full knee replacement. I had no pain from the moment I woke up and then none for the next 2 weeks until my knee replacement surgery. After the replacement surgery I still had only the slightest pain in the knee. Yes I had tightening, soreness, but not pain. I was the only patient at Syosset Hospital last Monday who did NOT request any pains meds at all. Michele Ross

Absolutely ridiculous, he doesn't listen to anything you say, doesn't discuss any options with you, sends is PA in after the first visit and you never see him again. The front desk staff are curt and have no empathy.

Dr. Fandos has been my doctor for more than 12 years. I originally had a chronic lumbar disc problem, but developed a severe herniated cervical disc. I have MS. For unknown reason it makes my body react to things it shouldn't. I had a reaction to the cervical neck epidural. Dr. Fandos was very concerned for me & we had to rethink the treatment plan. My neck healed. My lower back got worse and I developed a severe infection. Dr Fandos saw me every day. He's A ONE OF KIND DOCTOR ! The VERY BEST!

I have been a patient of Dr.Fandos for about 8 years and although I've had two fusion surgeries in my neck, Dr. Fandos is the only person who helps manage my chronic neck pain. He is gentle and he listens and answers honestly about treatments that are available to me. Lately, I usually see one of the two PA's and I find them to be very sweet and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who suffers with chronic pain.

Does not respond to anything. Waited 4 days for a prescription and still did not get it. Office was not good at following up. I had to keep calling them.
