Don't be swayed by plentiful use of medical jargon and sweet talk. She was impressive at the first appointment but then after the labwork is done, she just won't return calls. Took me a while to realize and accept that this doctor is just not going to call me about my lab work. What use is she to me? Waste of time and money!

The doctor took her time to listen and went over the lab result taken a few days prior which was ordered by my daughter's pediatrician. Then my daughter was ordered to take another blood test. It's been 2 months and I have left 5 different messages to follow up with the lab result and I still haven't yet gotten back any call from the Dr. or the staff yet. This is my first time ever encounter such experience from a specialist dr. Good bedside manners and listens very well.

This doctor is great. She takes the time to listen to you and gives the best solutions to helping control my daughters’ blood sugar. I love the katy location it’s nice . Her nurse is also nice too. I like that it’s close to home.

This is one of the best doctor visits I have ever had. Her nurse was very sweet even though I forgot my wallet and had to pull up insurance on the phone. Then, Dr Vanasse was amazing. She took her time listening, asking questions, and very thoroughly explaining everything to me. She was very knowledgeable and I so appreciated her taking time and not making anything seem rushed at all. My daughter also liked her as she was very gentle and soft spoken. Very good experience!!! The doctor was excellent and extremely thorough. Unfortunately, it's been 20 days, and I haven't gotten phone call back to go over the results of the labs & xrays. In spite of calling and leaving 8 messages, I've had no response. My insurance company even tried to contact them through the billing department, and was told there is no record of my son's visit in their system. The doctor was excellent and extremely thorough. My son went for growth delay. She is an astute clinician who determined he is essentially a late bloomer. Importantly, she also determined his blood test results were consistent with celiac disease. I never suspected this, but apparently she did. She called me back with test results ahead of schedule. She made referrals to a GI specialist to evaluate him for his celiac disease and make recommendations. I am grateful to have found her, especially since all other pedi endo's I found required a wait time of a few months before they would see a new patient. I hope she will continue to practice and not even think of retiring! Also would note I haven't had any problems with her office staff, but then again my experience has been limited to only one appointment and four phone calls. My son went for growth delay. Dr. Vanesse spends a great deal of time going over labs, answering questions,and explaining the medical care being given. In over 30 years of being a type 1 diabetic, I have not seen this type of care given to a patient.

Dr. Vanasse is a wonderful doctor. I have never met another doctor who took so much time to evaluate and study a patient with an unknown illness. She was the one who called me back about labs, and she took her time explaining to me the complexity of the endocrine system.We would and do highy recommend her to anyone who needs this type of doctor. She is patient, caring, and kind. She goes beyond what was expected of her and she has a lab right in her office on Huffmeister with very competent phlebotomists which are always smiling and singing and friendly. I found the staff at the front to be very efficient and we had no problems at all here. If your child has some strange illness , she will find it if it is endocrine related. This is my son's doctor. We like the doctor and she is very competent. Her staff on the other hand... We always go to the same location. Somehow today's appointment was made at the other location. My wife showed up, checked in, and waited ONE HOUR, and was NEVER told that the appointment was at the other location. I had to text her after the other location called me. We called to confirm that morning. Never were told the appointment was elsewhere. We repeatedly have to call in to get prescription refills, and the staff returns calls about 10% of the time. Absolutely pathetic. Is the good doctor worth the incompetent staff? That's your call. We're looking elsewhere. This is my son's doctor. We like the doctor and she is very competent.
