Lorraine Beatrice Ofori-Awuah

I had a breast ultrasound scheduled due to an abnormal mammogram. When I showed up for the appointment, they couldn’t see me because they didn’t have an order from Dr. Ofori. She refused to give a verbal order and instead insisted I make an appointment with her for the order. She was completely unconcerned with the fact that I took off work and was actually waiting for the appointment. Now if there is cancer, my treatment will be delayed as I now have to find a new primary care and schedule an appointment and then schedule the ultrasound again. I believe this doctor cares more about getting paid for the office visit than her patients.

I am over 60, have lived in 5 different states and have had many primary care physicians. Dr. Ofori-Awuah is one of the kindest and attentive physicians with whom I have interacted. I became her patient after she was the attending physician when I was in the hospital. She is very thorough with preventative care and is always willing to explain the benefits. She is attentive to her patient’s concerns . I highly recommend her!

She is one of the worst doctor's that I have ever met. My mother was a patient in Franklin Woods Rehab center where she is the doctor. I was there one day when came into the room to see my mother. I asked her how my mother was doing, she responded that did not know and that I should consult with the nurse. What doctor does not know about his/her patient? I then attended a meeting with her a few days later and she told everyone there that she had never met me before. Dr Ofori should be fired.
