I stopped seeing Dr. Boken almost 10 years ago because she put me on birth control when I was really just anemic and needed iron. Fast forward to today, and I called to make an appointment with Dr. Lake. I didn’t realize they work at the same clinic. She black balled me, and had it written on my chart that I was unhappy with care. The office manager let me know I couldn’t see anyone at the clinic because being unhappy with one doctor meant I didn’t like any of them (even though I never met anyone else and hadn’t been there in almost 10 years). I didn’t cause a scene when I left 10 years ago, I just left and said I was disappointed that no one listened to me. I didn’t realize she was so petty. It makes me sad actually. As a person she seemed nice, but as a Doctor she didn’t listen or really look into what I was going through. How can you say you care about women’s health when your black balling patients?

Dr. Boken did my hysterectomy. I am very pleased. Great surgeon. Very caring and explains everything. Great bedside manners too.
