Lori Jean Maciulla

I have been going to Dr. Maciulla for over 10 years and am very appreciative for Dr. Maciulla's utmost care of my physical AND psychological well-beings. She always asks me about my personal situation to evaluate my psychological conditions, which affect my physical conditions. She always spends enough time to know everything for the past year during annual check-ups, which enables her to give me accurate diagnoses. She even called me over the weekend to let me know about the test results, which was critical for my current condition. She said she called me as soon as she got the result because I would be worried about it. Her staffs were always very helpful whatever I asked them to help me. The receptionist was always willing to help me for billing issues and medical questions. If I forget to ask questions to Dr. Maciulla, and Dr. Maciulla is with a patient, the receptionist asks questions Dr. Maciulla between patients and gets answers for me. She always went extra miles to help me. I greatly appreciate Dr. Maciulla and her staffs for their professionalism in medical service and friendliness. Dr. Maciulla is knowledgeable and personable.

I have been a patient of Dr Maciulla for a very long time. She is caring, easy to talk too, and a good listener. Most importantly she helps calm me down when I'm feeling anxious. This includes follow-up calls and emails. I really feel fortunate that I have her as my doctor.

I thought she was terrific. Wanted to know about me as a person and was quick and efficient. The staff is lovely and caring. I did not wait more than 3 minutes. What's not to love?

I've seen Dr. Maciulla over the last 20 years. Dr. Maciulla is an excellent OB/GYN and I highly recommend her. Dr. Maciulla cares for the health and well being of her patients. Of the many physicians, I have seen since my childhood, she is one of the very few physician's I've met who takes a personal interest in her patients! Dr. Maciulla is a very capable and caring physician. I always have a very good experience when visiting her. I recommend her very highly.

Dr. Maciulla has been my doctor for at least 20 years. She’s helped me through some very difficult medical decisions. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable and a great listener. I highly recommend her.

A few years ago, I found that my GYN that I had for many years in White Plains, NY, even with an appointment, wasn't able to see me and coming from VA it was starting to be impossible so a I remembered a colleague at work saying the thing she missed the most moving away from the Vienna area was her GYN, now she is a remote worker in PA - I called and asked who her GYN was that she missed and it was Dr. Maciulla and I made an appointment and that was three years ago and I am so glad I met her. Dr Maciulla is not only professional and so knowledgeable she is personable and caring and makes me feel like I've known her for years - she truly is the best experience and I'm so grateful to my colleague for her recommendation to try Dr. Maciulla! I have been going to Dr. Maciulla for over 20 years. She has been there for me through my pregnancy and any other issue that has arisen. She is incredibly responsive, concerned, warm and competent. I always know that I can go to her with any issue.

Dr. Macuilla is an excellent gynecologist-she made me feel comfortable and the exam was over before I knew it. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend her.

To be clear: this physician refuses to insert IUDs, even if they are for non-contraceptive procedures, such as hormone therapy. If you see this as problematical, do not see this physician.

Customers service is awful, unhelpful. I called twice and they are just mean and rude. I heard good things about the doctor but I couldn't deal with her receptionist. I decided to cancel my appointment, she was yelling at me.

Lori is an exceptional doctor who truly cares about her patients. The visit is never rushed and Lori dispenses valuable practical advice and medicine.

Dr. Maciulla was fabulous. She is very engaging and answered all of my questions. She took her time. I am very fussy about doctors. Her office is great. I didn't wait very long for my appointment.

Been going to Dr. Maciulla for 10 years- absolutely love her- the best!!

Arrogant and obnoxious. She diagnosed my daughter with PCOS, despite her having none of the classic symptoms. When I asked if she had considered any other possible conditions, her response was a belligerent "Like what?". Seriously - there is no reason to be that dismissive and hostile.

Dr. MACIULLA is an excellent doctor with a wealth of knowledge in her field. I would recommend a better receptionist/front office person with a more professional demeanor that doesn't sound lazy/out of it, someone who doesn't sound clueless about records and so on. There are people out there looking for work who would better represent the practice, i.e. a high energy individual with an attentive tone/demeanor and better knowledge. I have been a patient of Dr. Maciulla for over 13 years. She is kind, compassionate, and a straight forward doctor. She has supported me through a variety of health issues for which I am grateful. Best GYN.

As a doctor that supposedly works with women's bodies, Dr. Macuilla has strikingly little sensitivity. When she found that I had gain ten pounds, she demanded, "what happened?" I struggle to comprehend how this approach is at all helpful in discovering the root of a health problem. I struggle to comprehend how Dr. Macuilla could think that this is the proper way to interact with a patient. Strikingly little empathy. I will not be going back.

I have had all good experiences with Dr. Maciulla. She is thorough and her personality is such that I feel I can ask her anything. My only "complaint" is that there is usually a fairly long wait time.

Total professional...Dr. Lori is a great doc! She's helped me with all my mid life issues and I just can't say enough to good things about her and her staff. I never have to wait, there are never billing problems, my questions are answered, everyone knows what they're doing...A+++

I have been going to Dr. Maciulla for over 9 years, have changed job locations and still travel to Tyson's for my annuals. She is straight forward and always truthful. I always feel like our visits are my safe zone and I can talk to her about anything no matter how personal. Being that she is my GYN, that is the feeling I need most. I have recommended co-worker and friends to her. I proud myself with being around strong women, who have little time for unnecessary chatter.
