She’s a really good doctor. She is intelligent & does the job you need her to do. I was impressed with her all around.

I wish I could give this clinic 0 stars. Please save yourself heartache and money and go to another clinic. Nothing is tailored to your individual needs. They are unorganized. They canceled a month of treatment for me because my progesterone was elevated, but I was on progesterone supplements and new it would be elevated. Had to call dr. Homa to tell her they canceled it due to high progesterone when I was on a supplement so I could continue treatment for that month ????????‍♀️ So you have to be on top of everything they do. During my IVF transfer, when I asked about the bleeding that dr. Homa told me I was having she basically scoffed and laughed at me. The ultrasound tech Marci was wearing perfume during my transfer that was so heavy I could smell it through a stuffy nose and mask. I sent an email to the manager that should never happen. Which they told her about. Then when I went in for an ultrasound she yelled at me and refused to do my ultrasound which left me in tears. Literally sobbing in shock she would treat me like that. Especially when my transfer FAILED. No apologies to me. During an already highly emotional time they just made it 10,000 times worse. I originally was supposed to see dr. Balmir but all procedures were done by dr. Homa. The front desk staff & blood draw techs were the only people there who were compassionate and friendly. I was at another clinic in Michigan and now at a clinic in California and they are 100% nothing like AGH. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!!! I also looked up their transfer rates. Lowest in the Pittsburgh area. Wish I knew before I went to them. I wish I could give this clinic 0 stars. Please save yourself heartache and money and go to another clinic. I need to post after seeing my partner being mistreated by Dr. Homa. Questions were almost laughed at and we had no idea what was happening for the majority of the process. Her bedside manner is embarrassing. She may be a good doctor, maybe, but we rather go to a doctor who is empathetic AND knowledgeable.

Did not explain the process at all, gave no preop or post op information. This is absolutely inexcusable. I would not recommend going through Dr. Homa for such a life-changing procedure.

I saw Dr. Homa and told her that during previous fertility treatments I had success with a specific medication and typically produced 2-4 follicles each cycle. She told me that it was only because I was much younger then and that they would prefer a hybrid cycle with pills & injectables. Using their method, I consistently produced only ONE egg each cycle (which I can do on my own WITHOUT $2500 in meds). EVERY cycle I was told that it was my age (40 yrs.) and that’s why my body wasn’t producing effectively and I had no reason not to believe them. Nurse Jen asked the Dr. if she wanted to try something different to increase egg production, she was told no. So I switched over to another office who took me OFF their $2500/mo meds and put me on the one I ASKED for originally ($78) and BOOM - FOUR EGGS!! So clearly it was NOT my age, but the neglectful manner in which Dr. Homa refused to simply listen to what worked for my body in the past. FIND ANOTHER FERTILITY OFFICE!

terrible bedside manner,pushes for IVF without investigating why natural conception hasn't occurred. Gave me a sono hystogram ultrasound at my first appt. without antibiotics given prior (procedure cannot be guaranteed sterile). she tested my AMH level at the wrong time in my cycle, resulting in inaccurately low levels, which sent me in a panic. when I paged her because of these results and unusual ovulation pain, she didn't call me back, was very rude upon 2nd page awful experience

I felt very comfortable sharing with her, and she knew all the latest information and techniques. Did not do unnecessary procedures and got good results.
