I first met Dr Friedman at AHC where he is head of palliative care. He was in the difficult position of explaining why my surgeons & nurses had failed to read my file & failed to provide appropriate pain medication during & after my surgery. Four years later, he remains my palliative care doctor because he listens to and supports this patient. Not only is he knowledgeable but patient-oriented in today's legally sensitive environment. He is a professional & personal rarity in medicine today.
