Mr. Lloyd J. Beaudry

I’ve had multiple hernia surgeries in my past with a now retired doctor out of the same office as Dr. Beaudry. After developing complications and daily pain “down there” for the past 3 years I needed to get some answers. After doing multiple ultrasounds and scans it was determined I don’t have a new hernia & no need for a current surgery. I was offered physical therapy as an option, as well as maybe direct nerve blocking injections. After calling and scheduling a follow up to take him up on his advice, he then calls and cancels my appointment for me, stating that since there will be no surgery being performed, there was no reason to he seen. Which completely ruined any good views I’ve had about that place. My pain never got solved or even attempted to be solved. Every visit I’ve had with Dr. Beaudry felt rushed and like he was in a race to get me out of the door. & then when I was offered more options… he takes them away. The receptionist needs an attitude adjustment & if they claim to be a “specialist” it seems to me they need more knowledge in said areas. Couldn’t find any reason or even attempted to locate my pain. Simply read a report stating I do not have a hernia & that was it. Absolute trash. Don’t see this guy. If they can’t find a hernia you’ll be screwed. - Edited after Beaudry’s comment: As I clearly stated above, no hernia was found and I was offered options. As soon as I was trying to take you up on those options you took them away and gave absolutely no relief to me. I’m Still in pain, still having the same problems as before. You did nothing for me but read a report that said I didn’t have a hernia. Did you at all look at the ultrasound yourself? NO. You gave me hope for more roads and didn’t fulfill it

my husband seen Dr Beaudry his insurance must not covered all of his surgery they never contacted us and reported to TRW for 29 dollars cheap move on his staff i give Dr Beaudry five star and his office staff 0 zero

He is polite and listens.He gets you taken care of..

Dr. Beaudry was fantastic from the consult to the operation. He didn't make me feel like a number, he answered all my questions untill I was satisfied, even the outpatient surgical team pre op nerses are amazing. You can't go wrong with Dr. Beaudry and would recommend him to anyone that has a hernia that is in need of repair.

Dr. Beaudry is a professional. His staff is excellent. He is kind. All my interactions have been positive. Looking forward to my follow up.

Extremely rushed, rude, and completely indifferent towards his patients concerns. He explained nothing, and stormed out mid sentence, slamming the door behind him and leaving me in tears. All I wanted was an explanation. He seems to have a MASSIVE doctor ego and NO bedside manner unless you’re kissing his behind and fawning over his brilliance. I have been to dozens of doctors this year alone, and he was by FAR the rudest, least compassionate, most rushed and indifferent doctor I have encountered (which is saying a lot, considering I have come across many similar doctors). I am not a difficult or rude patient. I am only looking for answers to my debilitating condition. He essentially said not my problem, figure it out somewhere else, and SLAMMED THE DOOR while I dissolved into tears at the sheer shock of being treated so coldly. I would give zero stars if I could. What a waste of a 3 week wait to see someone like HIM. Clearly just in it for the money, get them in, get them out.

Dr. Beaudry is a very nice Dr. and will do his best to help you out!

I must say, his office is stuck in the 70's and badly needs a remodel but his expertise is phenomenal. I was referred to Dr. Beaudry for my umbilical hernia. He checked it out and highly recommended surgery. They scheduled it for a week later at Beaumont South Shore Hospital. The staff at South Shore was wonderful and very careful due to the Corona virus. I felt very safe with them. I get nervous to have a surgery after a very bad experience at Beaumont main Dearborn during surgery. But this surgery went flawless. Dr. Beaudry did excellent work. Incision very small and clean and his closure technique was great. Healed very good and very slight discomfort. I'm a very satisfied patient. I highly recommend him for hernia surgery. I had umbilical hernia surgery in January 2021 and it went flawlessly. Had it at Beaumont South Shore. They really fixed it up there. Very nice experience there. Staff was wonderful. Dr. Beaudry did a perfect job. Incision was done perfectly. I healed quickly with no complications and very slight discomfort. I think this was the most flawless surgery I've ever had. And I've had over 14 surgeries. I highly recommend Dr. Beaudry.

Had Dr. Beaudry perform a biopsy of my lower abdomen and he broke the news that I had spindle cell Sarcoma and that he couldn't do anything more for me and was referring me to an oncologist... Well the oncologist that he referred me to was very professional and ended up referring me to UofM oncologist that ultimately ruled it as a desmoid tumor that isn't cancerous so this surgeon is really a quack that doesn't really do his research and puts people's minds where they should never be..... Once I was told I had cancer I had to get my cards in line if i was going to be battling a nasty disease and to come find out i dont have cancer..... What a mind blowing experience..... I would never recommend this man to do anything as he is arrogant and non compassionate

My life as I once knew it is gone. Our retirement dreams have been shattered and am facing life long nerve blocks just to exist from this mesh nightmare

Dr Beaudry is both personable and knowledgeable. Helps patients feel at ease. Staff is friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

I have had the exact same experience with Dr. Beaudry. pain from my hernia surgery is worse now then when I had the hernia. I have just started the process of trying to find out what he did wrong. In my follow ups with him, he just blew me off and said the pain should stop within 6 months of the surgery, but never has. He made me feel like I was overreacting to the pain. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

I had a bad experience from my surgery with Dr. Beaudry. I'm 24 years young and had an inguinal hernia. He performed surgery on me with surgimesh. My pain never went away and 5 months later I was still pain. At this point, I had surgery by another doctor to remove the mesh. Turns out the mesh was wrapped around my spermatic chord and the hernia returned. I am still in pain after this second surgery but I really hope that it goes away soon. This has been a terrible year of pain for me.

I refer most of my patients to Dr. Beaudry for surgery. He is an amazing surgeon.
