Dr. Smalheiser is really gifted in hearing what her clients are trying to communicate and clarifying it to them in a way that they can comprehend. My life has improved tremendously since I’ve worked with her.

Dr. Lisa Smalheiser is an AMAZING Psychologist. I first met Lisa at Crossfit through my cousin, who also is a coach, much like Lisa is at Crossfit. Not only is she an amazing Crossfit coach, but she is absolutely the best Psychologist out there. I have been seeing Lisa for over 2 years now for numerous reasons and she has helped me out in so many different aspects of my life. From grieving from a loss of a very close family member, to helping me cope with anxiety, to help me deal with work related issues, to help me also deal with relationship issues with different family members. I have had so much going on in my life over these past 2 years and Lisa has done an amazing job. I don't know where I would be today, if it wasn't for Lisa. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lisa Smalheiser to anyone. She really knows her stuff. She is very caring and very insightful. I love how she will recommend or suggest an App or give you a bit of homework to do and it WORKS!!! She always seems to hit the nail right on the head and she just amazes me. 10/10. I feel extremely lucky to have Dr. Smalheiser as my therapist. I am forever grateful for the tools she has helped me develop throughout our time together. I felt comfortable and relaxed from the minute we met. We worked hard together every week and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. Thank you Lisa for changing my life. Dr. Smalhesier is truly an incredible health care professional. Her insight on array of issues and therapy techniques is unmatched. I started seeing Lisa when my father was diagnosed with cancer. What I thought would be a 6 month therapy journey ended up being 2 years (because she’s THAT good)! She has given me the tools I didn’t even know I needed to properly grieve and enjoy life and all it has to offer. I truly have her to thank as a reason for where I am in my life today. Dr.Smalhieser is perfect therapist for me, I have never had a problem reaching her. She is kind and a genuine human being and isn't afraid to tell it to you straight. I recommend her to anyone seeking guidance in their life or if you are just looking for someone to talk to.

I have been seeing Lisa for therapy for about a year-and-a-half now. I have seen a number of different therapists over the years before I moved to Florida. It can be tough starting out the process with someone new. I was extremely lucky being referred to Lisa for personal therapy. She turned out to be exactly what I needed. She is a great listener, but of course that's what they're supposed to do. But she's also very sincere, compassionate, and insightful. I found that with her help I was able to separate that which I wanted to go towards and that which I wanted to leave behind. For me she is both challenging yet very supportive. It had been many years since I had been in therapy, and to be honest I was quite nervous. Lisa was everything I could have wish for and more. It amazes me how she was so insightful as a marriage counselor for me and my husband, and was also able to transition when I followed up months later for personal therapy. I am so grateful that someone recommended her to me. Anyone who says you can’t have it all when looking for an ideal therapist has obviously never met Lisa. She has served as a marriage counselor, a life coach, and assisted me and my husband in being better parents. Dr. Smalheiser is a wonderful, gentle and nurturing professional. I have had the pleasure of being her patient for only a brief time so far, but I have never had a Dr that possess all the myriad aspects required to make someone comfortable and confident in her dedication to help no matter what the circumstances.
