She treats me with respect and awknowledges that my pain is real and not just "all in my head". If you're looking for a doctor willing to prescribe opiods, I can't help. I don't know if she does or not, since I am in recovery for that. But as far as everything else goes, I have been very happy with Dr. Newcomer. For years, I've dealt with doctors who tell me that my pain isn't real and I'm imagining it. Or they treat me like I'm only there to get meds to get high. I almost didn't make the appointment because after a decade of searching for a good doctor, I had given up. I'm so glad I did, though.
