Dr. Lila E. Nachtigall

My wife has been going to her for over 20 years. Her mother went as well. Dr. Lila Nachtigall is astute, knowledgeable, generous with time and warm. Simply the Best!!!

I have seen Dr. Lila for almost 20 years. She is a genuinely caring, extremely knowledgeable, and empathic doctor. She is the rare physician who will literally give you as much time as you need, even hours, to listen to your concerns and answer every question you have. I credit Dr. Lila with saving my life. Here's why: After going through breast cancer Surgery successfully, the extremely powerful medicine I was put on (to be taken for 5 years) was Causing me to feel such extreme depression that I was contemplating suicide for the first time in my life. My oncologist told me I had no other drug options and dismissed my complaints by ignoring them. But the emotional pain and suffering I experienced due to hormonal changes from that medicine actually caused me to think I might be better off ending my life! When I went for an annual check up with Dr. Lila she immediately noticed the extreme change in my demeanor and we talked and talked for a long time. She requested all of my records on the breast cancer, all images, reports, lab results, oncologists notes, surgeons notes, etc. After reviewing everything she recommended a different medication and referred me to a different oncologist to verify that the medication would be safe and effective for me. I switched meds and less than 1 month later I was myself again. I really don't know what would have happened to me if I had continued on that first medication. I will be moving out of state soon but will fly to NY at least once a year for my annual exams with Dr. Lila because I have so much confidence in her. I have seen Dr. Lila for almost 20 years. Dr. Nachtigall is a wonderful physican very caring. She tries very hard to give her patients the most up to date care. She is very well informed and very kind.

Dr. Nachtigall is an amazing physician. The first time I saw her which was over twenty years ago she spent 3 hours talking with me and was able to choose the right HRT to help me get back to normal. She treats every woman she sees with great respect and tailors the treatment to the individual patient. I saw 3 Gynecologists before her who all wanted to treat me with the standard hormone therapy which was not the right one for me. Lila E. Nachtigall has been my doctor for about 50 years. Her knowledge and expertise with infertility enabled me after 8 years to have my two sons. Dr. Nachtigall has been my go to person for medical issues throughout my life, always willing to make referrals for me or my family. She is genuinely interested in her patients and takes the time to listen. She has taken me from child bearing years to menopause and beyond, always with the same calm, reassuring voice. Dr. Nachtigall has kept me together body and soul for more years than I care to enumerate Her clinical skills are awesome and I don't use that word flippantly. Her referrals for specialty issues are outstanding and include some of the top practitioners in the country. I would decline to state waiting room times because Dr. Nachtigall does spend time with patients but I will say since she no longer delivers babies, the wait times have gone from hours to minutes.

Dr. Lila Nachtigall has vastly improved the quality of my life and increased my happiness, health and mental well being. She is expert at communicating options as well as the issues she treated me for and has a vast network to recommend for other speciality treatments. She is a trusted adviser who listens well and genuinely cares about you.

My wife went to this doctor and honestly it was an unfortunate experience. She has not gone back.

She takes drug money and cares nothing about you or your health. Wonder if she's ever thought how many once healthy women she killed while paid by Wyeth drug industry to lie about ERT & HRT toxic and carcinogenic steroid drugs! She is an American Sniper!
