Dr. Lewis Eastlick

I’ve had the honor and privilege of knowing Dr Eastlick for close to 40 years. As a violinist, I wouldn’t trust the care of my hands to anyone else. He is that rare combination of a doctor who is both highly competent and caring. His moral and ethical standards as a physician and as a person are impeccable. I don’t understand nor do I agree with any of the negative reviews he’s received. I’ve sent numerous friends and family members to him over the years and none of them have anything but high praise and gratitude for Dr. Eastlick. Thank you, Dr Eastlick, for being a blessing in our lives!

By far the worst experience ever!! Making an appointment is like pulling teeth. The office staff offers absolutely no help and the lady that always answering the phone has absolutely no idea what she's doing

I wrote a review a few weeks ago,although I cant locate it now. So i will try again Dr Eastwick and his staff are awesone! My boyfriend Severely burned both hands with Freon. We went to Hollywood Memorial and Aventura ED's. Both recommended a specialist, The insurance Company gave us names of MD's,but none treated this type of injury, We found Dr. Eastlick on our own and his Staff worked tirelessly to help get approval,we waited 3 very painful days ( insurance co. protocol) to no avail. We went to see Dr. Eastlick, he prescribed meds and said the injury would resolve in time with his directions. He was absolutely correct! He didnt even require a follow up appointment unless there was an issue. This was in July and everything is great! I've been a nurse for 30 years and would highly recommend his practice. Dr Eastlick is a man sent from God. He did a comprehensive evaluation of my worker’s compensation case, cut through the corporate red tape and to top it off, did a skillful job of repairing my hand. I will be eternally grateful to him for all he did for me. If you want to get better go to Dr. Eastlick!!

Thank you Dr. Eastlick! My experience with him was very professional and efficient! I had an infected cuticle and was able to get my prescription that same day. Aside from the superior medical care, the office staff was very polite and amazing! I would recommend anyone to go to this office!

This is the most honest doctor I've met in my entire life! He had every opportunity to make money off of my situation, and instead helped me save my finger from amputation, and regain an incredible amount of tissue and healthy growth. He is connected with a great hand therapist who has also helped me along the way. From showing up the day of and saving my finger from being amputated in the ER, to connecting me with a great hand therapist, checking up on me regularly, and even giving me an amazing medical product for free, he really gave me the best doctor/patient experience I've ever had. Dr. Eastlick is awesome. He is an eminent hand surgeon, with great knowledge and experience. Dr. Eastlick has treated both my wife and I several times over the last few years with great success! His demeanor is fantastic, and we love his sense of humor. Most important of all, he is honest and sincere. We went originally to see him in regards to surgery that was being prescribed, and he recommended against it! We were so surprised that a surgeon would not favor a surgical procedure. He failed miserably with my hand surgery. As a result, I spent thousands of dollars for nothing! Please DO NOT go to this man. He is uncaring and seems like he is just in the business to make money. Any time I brought up concerns, he just brushed them off. Not to mention, his office staff in the Plantation office is pathetic!

Terrible front desk service, they have no solidarity with the patient.

This guy is all about money. He doesnt work for the patient! He works for thr employer! I would not recommend him to anyone ever! He is berating and foolish! His staff does not care, either. The receptionist doesn't speak English well. The other staff member is not professional, either. The supposed doctor will not listen or help people stuck on worker's comp. Don't be alone with him! The Dr is very good but staff very bad

Dr. Eastlick is an AMAZING hand surgeon!!! My son was hit by a boat and the propeller severed is hand and was hit 3 times up the forearm broke every bone in his hand and wrist 1 year ago . It was suppose to be an amputation but Dr. Eastlick tried to save his hand and did an amazing job. A year later still have some more surgeries but he can move some fingers and now is working on rotating the wrist. It's been a long road but my son has a hand and wrist that will eventually work.

I have nothing but the highest respect, admiration, and appreciation for Dr. Eastlick. He has treated two of my children for non-serious hand injuries. His examinations were thorough and his explanations were crystal clear. He is a caring and compassionate physician who takes his time with each patient in listening to them first and then providing the highest quality medical attention. There is no other doctor I would trust when it comes to treating the hand. Thank you Dr. Eastlick!

Dr. Eastlick is a very professional & knowledgeable physician. By the time he sees you (at your scheduled appointment time) give or take 5-10 minutes he has reviewed your records and is prepared to give a plan of treatment. He explains treatment in detail & has no problem answering any questions. Dr. Eastlick is considerate of patients time & their recovery. I know many people that have had hand surgery from other doctors and to date not 1 has the results that I have had. #1 in my book.

I suffered a very serious injury to my left hand where I fractured the bones on my arm in nine pieces. It was the second worst injury of its kind Dr. Eastlick said he has seen in his career. He was very thorough in explaining the situation I was dealing with, gave me surgery, and currently I am being treated by him. It has been two weeks since I got my surgery and I can't believe I am able to move my hand and fingers considering how serious my accident was.

Dr. Eastlick was pompous, unhelpful and didn't do anything to help. He looked at my records and referred me to anyone else. He didn't want my case, but wanted to get paid to tell me to go away. It was a wasted visit, even though I have a medical condition requiring the treatment of a hand specialist. Getting someone on the phone is ridiculous. I had to call 5 times to get my medical records/proof of visit and call for 4 months just to get the bill which was incorrect. Horrible staff & office

the dr is great but his staff has a lot to be desired. the staff cat seem to find the time to help the patients
