Dr. Leon William Nowierski

I am a fair-haired person with previous melanoma treated by a different doctor. I saw Dr. Nowierski for a couple of strange-looking spots on my hand and forearm. He was pleasant, concerned, recommended a course of treatment that I agreed with, and thoroughly explained what he thought the items were. What concerns me is that I waited 45 additional minutes to see the doctor. And when I believed both areas had become infected (most likely my fault) I couldn't see a nurse or nurse practitioner to confirm or ease my fears. I had to make a separate appointment for the next day with the dr. That is the only reason why I did not give 5 stars. Otherwise, he's a very thorough doctor and explains everything so that you understand. As a person who also charges an hourly rate, my time is just as valuable as any MDs. He needs to hire a PA-C or ARNP to handle the lower end items (like a possible skin infection). My 2 cents.

He spotted a melanoma on my leg in the very first appointment and took special care to see me through to the end of my treatment. He was an amazing doctor!
