I first went to Dr. Schulman 20 years ago to enhance the look of my then 30-year old legs and was incredibly happy with the treatment and service I got with sclerotherapy. I've since had 2 children and done a lot of heavy lifting and kept thinking...I really need to get back to Dr. Schulman! I made the mistake of going to another vein clinic who tried to sell me on costly surgery I knew I did not need so I was happy I made the choice to go back to Dr. Schulman. Two decades later I was given the same trustworthy, knowledgable & honest recommendations I was looking for. Dr Schulman is the only vein expert who will be able to help you with all of your issues. Dermatologists and other vein clinics don't understand what is needed the way he does. He only does veins and he's up-to-date on the latest treatments and is mindful of your budget and what your preferences are. I see him in the Manhattan office when he is not at the Long Island vein center. Highly recommend!

I googled Long Island vein center near me and Dr Schulman's name appeared. I made the appointment. I figured all I had to lose was my copay. The staff was professional and attentive. They got the shots approved by my insurance! I was skeptical that it would work because many years ago I went to a dermatologist for spider veins and had some shots but they never went away. Dr. Schulman doesn’t have a good bedside manner if you ask questions. There are many things he does that are not sanitary in my opinion especially for a medical office. I could say more but I’m so traumatized. Stay far away.

I am so thankful to Dr.Schulman and LI Leg Vein Center for giving me my legs back. I am a 54-year-old with 5 children and a genetic disposition for spider veins. I have avoided wearing shorts and skirts for years. I also have facial veins under my eyes that I used makeup to cover. I went to Dr. Schulman and had him treat not only myself but my daughter too. I am so very happy I found Dr Schulman, a fantastic NY vein specialist. I have quite a few areas that have unsightly veins that I have been self conscious about for all of my adult life. I didn’t even know there was such a wonderful thing as a NY vein specialist, but Dr Schulman certainly is! I came to him initially for veins on my face, which we are still working on. But I was thrilled to realize he could help me with other areas, too. My legs are vastly improved (and I had painful surgery only a few years ago elsewhere which didn’t help enough) and Dr Shulman assures me he will continue to improve them each visit. But the true miracle so far are my feet. My whole life I have hidden my veiny feet in socks and shoes with straps. But the improvement is so astounding, I keep checking my feet to make sure it’s not a dream! Thank you, Dr Shulman! Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful and I am so very happy I found him.

I came to Dr. Schulman after thoroughly researching the best varicose vein treatments near me. Not only is he incredibly professional and informative, but his staff is friendly and helpful as well. I went to see Dr. Schulman for help clearing up spider veins and the onset of varicose veins, which had become painful. After 4 pregnancies I had accumulated various veins and standing for an extended period became painful. A few weeks post treatment I feel confident wearing shorts again and the pain has significantly improved! I definitely recommend Dr. Schulman and Long Island Vein Center.

I recently had an appointment at the Schulman Vein and Laser Center in Commack. Dr. Schulman is an excellent vein specialist. The office adheres to all of the Covid protocols. The office staff are professional and friendly. Dr Schulman listened to my concerns and recommended the treatment. The procedure was quick and virtually pain free. Dr Schulman answered all my questions and explained that I would be able to continue with my regular routine. The following day I received a phone call to see how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr Schulman as the best Suffolk County vein doctor.

I don’t usually do reviews but I researched facial vein removal and came up with Long Island facial vein treatment. Being 73 and as a lifelong skier/surfer I got a lot of sun on my face. At the initial consultation Dr. Schulman did a great job explaining the process and answered any questions I may have had. I put it off. That is until my wife asked “Honey what’s going on with your face?”. Dr Schulman welcomed me back to the Comack office for the first treatment. Results in exactly one week, right side 90% clear and left side 80% clear. Amazing transformation. I am sure after this second treatment it will be perfect. My wife is very happy. I strongly recommend Dr. Schulman. The office is bright and spotless. The members of his staff are all friendly, attentive, polite and helpful. My results have been outstanding! I noticed changes after 1 treatment. It's not an instant cure but after 4 treatments my results are fantastic. The procedure is very quick; my longest visit from entering the office to leaving was under 30 minutes. Despite treating both of my legs simultaneously, I am able to drive myself to and from my appointments and don't have to ask anyone for help. It's great to have an outstanding Long Island vein center, no long commute to Manhattan. I take warfarin, an anticoagulant aka "blood thinner", and was worried about bleeding issues associated with vein treatments... this is not an issue with Dr. Schulman's treatments. I highly recommend Dr. Lee Schulman from the Long Island Vein Center. The Manhasset staff is professional and caring. I have suffered from a severe varicose veins in my right leg. I first visited another doctor who used a more invasive approach to treating veins, which did very little to improve the pain I suffered. Best decision I have ever made is visiting Dr. Shulman's office. I am very satisfied with the results and honestly couldn't even think that anything could help improve my varicose condition. I highly recommend Dr. Shulman, he is truly gifted and knows his job well. I am seeing improvements and couldn't have imagined that my leg can look and feel healthy after 13 years of damage.

I originally went to the Schulman Vein and Laser Center in Manhasset for leg pain due to bulging veins. The office staff was very professional and helpful regarding appointments, insurance questions, and/or payments. Dr. Schulman's appointments had always been prompt which was extremely helpful when planning appointments. He never rushed the appointment always taking time to ask if I had any concerns or questions. At my first visit , Dr. Lee Schulman was extremely informative. Scans were taken to assure there were no underlying problems. Dr. Schulman explained the procedure he would use answering all the questions I had been prepared to ask. My second visit was my first treatment which took approximately five minutes. He continually spoke during the treatment to occupy my thoughts since he sensed I was a little anxious. The procedure was exactly how Dr. Schulman had explained it would be. It was virtually painless, during and after. Other than wearing the bandage for a few hours, there were no restrictions at all. Dr. Schulman was very patient, reassuring and knowledgeable. Dr. Lee Schulman had been recommended to me by another physician who had treatments with him and experienced great results. I too have experienced amazing results! After almost a year later I have had to return to Dr. Schulman's office due to discomfort I was having with another vein that had since appeared. I highly recommend Dr. Lee Schulman from the Long Island Vein Center. The Manhasset staff is professional and caring. I have been bothered by spider veins for years they were purple and angry looking. Not anymore!! Dr Schulman is meticulous and does amazing work, his injections are also painless. I have been going to Dr. Lee Schulman of LI Vein Specialists in Commack for several months. I had spider veins on my legs that were like road maps. This year I was able to go on a cruise and wear shorts! Dr. Schulman is very professional and very caring. He calls you after your first visit to see if you have any problems or questions! I’ve had issues with spider veins for many years and was skeptical about the treatment of them. After some research, I decided to have a consultation with Dr Schulman at the Schulman Vein and Laser Center in Commack Long Island. I was very impressed by Dr Schulman and his staff and decided to have a few treatments. Well, I’ve had several treatments over the last 3 or 4 months and the improvements are quite noticeable. My wife mentioned to me the other day that the veins are barely noticeable on my ankles. I’m happy I made the decision to see Dr Schulman, you will be too.

Vein disease runs in my family. I was very upset that at age 38 bulging veins were visible in my legs. I met Dr Schulman for a consultation and I knew immediately I was being treated by a professional and an expert. I received several injections in my leg at my first treatment appointment. The injections were painless and I didn’t experience any discomfort afterwards. By the time I went back for a check up two weeks later, I could see a noticeable improvement in my leg. I have seen Dr. Lee Shulman at the Long Island Vein Center in Manhasset three times so far for treatment of some very bad, dangerously bulging and painful veins in my legs. I had previously been told by another vascular doctor that I would need surgery on my legs. After three visits where Dr. Shulman used injections to treat these veins, I cannot believe the difference!! Severely bulging veins are now flat!! To say I am pleased is an understatement. This doctor is professional, really listens to you and answers all your questions. He is also just a really nice person. His office staff and medical staff are professional and kind. Approximately 7 yrs ago I went to Dr. Schulman for a significant varicose vein issue. He performed a laser procedure in his office and I have had no problems since then. I recently have gone back for other minor vein issues. Dr. Schulman is an extremely polite professional whose explanations are concise and clear. His staff is also extremely professional - no waiting for private conversations to end as in so many other medical offices! The wait time is minimal - but take the time to review the album in the waiting area - it shows his good work on other areas of the body. I see improvement after just a few visits and my legs feel much better also! I would recommend he with high praise to anyone who is looking to look better and certainly feel much better.

I was referred to Dr Lee Schulman by my plastic surgeon who indicated that Dr Schulman is very professional and gets results fast. I had my first appointment with Dr Schulman yesterday and I can honestly say that after 24 hours I have seen an 80 percent improvement in the first area that he treated. I understand that it is supposed to continue to improve. I am so happy. I wish I had scheduled my appointment with him sooner. I immediately scheduled another appointment to treat other areas. Dr Schulman clearly explained the procedure in advance and the results to anticipate. I had no pain and minimal bruising even though I have a tendency to bruise easily. I am extremely pleased. I could not recommend the doctor or staff more highly.

Dr Schulman is great! He was recommended to me by a friend that I commute with.. and her comments were spot on! Dr. Schulman and his staff are so welcoming that I felt completely comfortable and at ease my very first visit. I have been plagued with varicose veins most of my life. Unfortunately, I inherited this problem from my mothers side of the family. After my sonogram at the first visit in his Commack office, Dr. Schulman explained how he could help me with these painful and ugly veins. I had laser treatment on my second visit and am now following up with injection therapy. I have had one injection therapy and I am so excited already with the improvement in the appearance and pain relief in my leg. Dr. Schulman pays very close attention to the needs of his patients. He called me twice after the laser treatment to check up on my recovery. His staff is so supportive and understanding that they make you feel at home as soon as you get there.

Dr Schulman is a wonderful doctor for the treatment of varicose veins. I suffer from painful and terrible looking veins on my legs.I have seen a tremendous difference in my legs after being seen by Dr Schulman. He is a perfectionist. I see him in Commack and he and his staff are always professional and courteous. I also had large, bulging veins in my hands. After Dr Schulman treated them, they now look 10 years younger. Results Left me feeling so good about myself I had been very unhappy with the way my varicose veins were affecting my self esteem and even though the weather was getting warmer I had started wearing pants that totally covered my entire leg. I was so amazed after my first visit with Dr. Schulman. He is amazing, the best LI LEG VEIN DR. ! I saw results quickly, my legs look great already! He is very compassionate and takes the time to explain everything. There is minimal to no wait time in the waiting room or exam room. His staff is great!

Do not trust him. He sent fraudulent claims to my insurance for 2 visits on my left leg, which he never touched, just in order to get me to have to come back to pay out of pocket for more visits. Instead of doing what the insurance company allowed (2 visits for each leg) he injected the same leg in the same region over 4 visits (which didn't seem necessary-- I have had these treatments in the past). When the 4th visit was over the receptionist told me that he was supposed to do 2 visits for each leg as per the insurance company and that insurance certainly wouldn't pay for anything further. She also that I shouldn't say anything to the insurance company because he might not get paid. They lied to me and they lied to the insurance company. When I spoke to the insurance company they told me he charged for 2 visits on the left leg and 2 on the right. He lied to the insurance company and he lied to me. I should have known not to trust him because he kept what he was writing on my chart hidden from view; he would always peel up a page to block what he was writing. He was writing incorrect information in order to charge my insurance company for the job he was supposed to be doing but wasn't doing. He only did one leg thinking that I would be forced to come back and pay additional out of pocket charges for several visits to get the other side done. There is no way in the world I would let this guy touch me again. I'd rather give my own money someone that I trust and feel is not trying to rip me off and waste my time. Plus, as PhD, I have to say he is extremely condescending and patronizing. He doesn't care about the patient needs, he only cares about making money. A long overdue review! -I had varicose veins and never really pay too much mind to it. I would ask my regular doctors in the past and they suggested to wear compress sock. The varicose vein got worse as I got older so much that it was bulging out and started to hurt. (It was pretty disgusting to look at - like an alien baby that wanted to pop out) Embarrassed to wear shorts during the summer time and the pain made me look for good doctor to help me with this issue. I went to see Dr. Lee Schulman for some painful veins on my legs & I have to say the results are wonderful. Not only did he improve the way they feel, they look so much better. When you go in, they have a wonderful receptionist who greets you at the door. She & her staff explained everything thoroughly & answered all my questions. Everyone is so knowledgeable & pleasant. After having a consult , I had varicose veins injected with small needles to remove by Dr. Schulman I was so happy with the results . I went to the Schulman Vein and Laser Center for leg pain due to bulging veins. I saw Dr. Schulman in his Manhasset office, he also has an office in Manhattan. The office staff was very professional and helpful regarding appointments, insurance questions, and payments. At my first visit Dr. Lee Schulman was extremely informative. He explained the procedure he would use answering all the questions I was prepared to ask before I even asked them. My second visit was my first treatment which took approximately five minutes. He continually spoke during the treatment to occupy my thoughts since he sensed I was a little nervous. As he had explained, the procedure was virtually painless, during and after. Other than wearing the bandage for a few hours, there were no restrictions at all. I could not believe the difference the next day! I even flew that week and was totally comfortable. Since then I have had two more treatments with exactly the same experience and results.

Recently, I asked him to treat the veins on my feet, and after only one session, I can’t wait to wear pretty sandals again. He is a very compassionate doctor, and his staff is friendly and warm.

I have very bad varicose veins in my legs. Dur. Schulman has been injecting them with very small needles which I find painless. He is very gentle. I even had bulging veins which are no longer bulging. I am very satisfied with Long Island Vein.

Going to Dr. Lee Schulman was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. For nearly 15 years, I had hidden my legs because of embarrassing varicose veins. The absolute best experience and results I could have hoped for. I have had veins on my legs that were so numerous and close together that they almost looked like large black and blue marks. If I went out on a very rare occasion without attempting to cover them up people would always remark and ask how I hurt myself. It was embarrassing. Needless to say I didn't go out without my legs covered too often. I had seen two other doctors over the past few years and achieved minimal results. I assumed it was the best I could hope for but I was SO WRONG. After my first visit with Dr Shulman I had better results than all my years of treatment combined. After my second visit the largest of my most embarrassing spots was completely gone. I can wear shorts or a dress again without endless worry.
