Lee Roy Rice

First, they messed up my appt times and I had to cancel another appt. Dr. Rice and his nurse made me feel as if they had no idea why I was there for my visit. When the doctor came into the room there was a greeting and then he immediately asked, "Why did you never have kids?" Boom slap to my face. I understand that question does have it's place in a doctor exam room, but the fact that he never got any other reproductive history from me before the question really put me in a very defensive position. He asked me other questions that were right there in my medical history, like he had no idea about me. I thought I was coming in for a procedure, but he didn't have the scope with him to even do that. He refused to schedule me at the Smithville office to do the procedure, because "we're not getting along" after I called him out on his rude questioning technique. I have to start the referral process all over again. Maybe after 40 years a refresher on bedside manners is needed.
