I was asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to appointmnet. I had to wait for an additional 50 minutes before Dr. Mullinax came in. For me it was a loss of 1 hour and 20 minutes. She did not seem to be interested, was condescending and distant. No plan was explained. The visit did not have any value to me.

I definitely would not recommend Dr. Mullinax. I don’t take pain meds so that isn’t why. She gets angry if you ask her about long term treatment plans. My first visit was just ok. After visiting again after the injection which only helped about 50%, she wanted to give me another one. When I asked her to explain the reason why she thought a second injection would help, she got very angry with me. I felt humiliated by her behavior. I left her office in tears! I will not see her again. I called the referring Doctor and they told me a lot of their patients have complained to them about her bedside manner being bad. They referred me to another Doctor not associated with Prisma. Wish I would have read her reviews before my first visit.

Dr. Mullinax has a very poor bedside manner. After completing PT for 6 weeks, she wasn’t even interested in their evaluation regarding my disc and joint issues. She wanted to go by what she examined that day and was not concerned about finding the root of my problem and getting it corrected. She talked down to me and did not care to listen to my concerns. I felt so disrespected by her and left her office in disbelief. I do not recommend her and I will not see her again. They’re still Doctors that do truly care about their patients health issues, but she’s definitely not one! Dr. Mullinax has a very poor bedside manner. I have a rare neurological disorder and came to her with sacroiliac arthritis, Facet arthritis and fissure of the nerve. My referring doctor even stated in the notes no injections and she only recommends them. I believe there must be some kickback there. She doesn’t care if your case is sensitive and rare and that you’ve been dealing with chronic pain for years and only wants to prescribe medications that have horrible side effects like gabapentin. I am about to do weeks of physical therapy and she offered either the injections, gabapentin or nothing and walked out telling me if I changed my mind to let her know. I have severe allergies to NSAIDs and so many medications and she said she’d never heard of anyone having a steroid allergy! Do NOT let them give you her as a Doctor. The most horrid experience in my life. The doctor was threatening and did not explain the procedure. I believe she enjoys torture.

I guess our time means nothing to her( first visit waited on her) but show up 5 mins late~ due to me getting off work early and traffic. I couldn’t be here 15 mins before my appointment ( not first appointment) She has 0 bedside manners and will make you feel like you know nothing about your body! Good doctor, friendly and very smart, good at what she does!

I’ve seen Dr Mullinax twice for cervical epidurals. Both times I saw her she was friendly and informative. I had hesitated to have the epidurals and now regret I did not have them sooner. Non-caring, rude and does not listen! Stares at computer endlessly and does not interact with patients. Worse doctor that I've encountered.

Dr.Ashley Mullinux is the worst doctor i've ever seen she has no bgh compassion for me or anyone. She shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine. She is also a lyer.

First visit to this office I had to wait 10+ minutes in the check in line only to find out the check in place for my need was around the corner. This was after I had already been to the address found on the website and was met with a curled up note saying the office had been moved. NO signage is in place in the office to direct anyone to the correct check in desk. These two delays were partially the reason I wasn't allowed to see the doctor and had to reschedule. Ugh! No consideration for MY time.The staff I dealt with was cold and uncaring. They just collect your money. I've been in pain since July And nothing has been done. This is a pain management that does not give out pain medication that in any other pain management in any other state would be given for that injury. I tell them that it hurts to sit stand lie down and I can't even walk more than 20 still nothing done. Some junkie that went there overdosed so now they tell me that my medical care is influenced by that now they are more strict on who they give pain medication to. Which is the legal because somebody else's issues should not be impacting my medical health. On that alone and investigation needs to happen. I was sent to Dr Mullinax by a neurosurgeon who said I needed to get SI injections. She refused to give them to me. She said that the only thing she would do is give me anti-inflammatories because she couldn't see a pinched nerve on my scans. Instead an orthopedic surgeon sent me for injections which worked great. I have been in severe debilitating pain for YEARS which makes me bedridden, and still she wouldn't do anything for me. She is rude, won't listen, refuses my spouse to come with me... Won't return! Oh I get it now... Pain management... Pills... I see y there's a good bit of bad reviews on here against Dr. Mullinax. For anyone that's mad cuz u didn't get pills to sell or get high, u don't need pain management u need rehab! Please do not believe the negative reviews about Dr. Mullinax and the staff here. Everyone was very kind and thorough with me my first visit, and she seemed to want to give me the treatment that will be best for me in the long run. Dr Mullinax is an incredible doctor who has helped me on more than one occasion. The injections were painful at the time but extremely helpful in the long run. I would highly recommend her.

I am still in pain 3 years later and when I complained about the poor care I was sent a letter that I was "fired" as a patient. She only wanted to send me somewhere else. I was just too complicated, I guess. Brachial plexus injury is extremely painful. Worthless and uncaring people.

If you are 10min late for an appointment, expect a $75 bill in the mail. I have been living with chronic pain for 10 years and she treats me zero respect.

Kind, Caring and Competent Two years ago I was seen by Dr. Mullinax for a epidural steroid injection to help control pain in my neck. This year my old injury in my lower back has put me on my back unable to walk for 6 weeks. No longer able to handle the crippling pain I called Dr. Mullinax. The staff was great! and I was seen and treated fast. I found the doctor and staff to be very intelligent and well informed. Both made me feel very relaxed and comfortable.

Unresponsive, rude and uncompassionate staff. Please seek care elsewhere.

In all of my years going to Doctors, and I'm 52, Dr Mullinax is the absolute worst hands down. She gave me conflicted instructions that ended up making her extremely angry. She threatened not to give me the injections instead of admitting she was wrong. As a result, I was confronted by s lady who.wouldnt give me her name or title. She told me I could not come back there ever. I, thankfully have found another Dr. If I could have given no stars I would have. I would not send my worst enemy, I would have. Saw this doctor on referral from Steadman Hawkins. On first visit was treated with disrespect by PA. We asked if two of us could go back with the patient as he has dementia and can't verbalize his history well. We were locked out initially but upon asking to be let in, we were met in the hall by the PA with aggressive objection and told she had to ask the doctor because there was not enough room in the exam room to hold all of us. One of us finally was given "permission" to go back with the patient. The room is three times bigger than any other exam room I've been in for the last 10 years. The PA continued to be curt and made no eye contact, made us feel uncomfortable and defensive. Maybe just a bad day for them so we returned after having two of three tests performed. When we returned we insisted that both the spouse and myself (daughter) be allowed back to hear what the doctor had to say to my father and again, told only one of us could go back when we explained why, the same PA we had trouble with before talked over the top of us which caused my mother to raise her voice. Although she should not have "yelled" I feel she wouldn't have if she had been treated with more respect. After waiting 20 mins past our appointment time, they finally let all of us back and we monitored by security on our way back. The PA that originally met us, was replaced by two very nice and caring individuals who took the vitals and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The doctor told us she could not provide us much information since the MRI had not been performed but did have x-ray and dexa information and told us we could have just called her and not made the trip. Very frustrating given I had to take off work to drive an hour up and back. On check out I did try to apologize to the PA for the misunderstanding and she would not make eye contact and seemed annoyed. Only acknowledged with a slight positive head shake. Here is the final straw: When we left and leafed through the After Visit Summary, we found three pages of another patient's information attached to our pages. This is a HIPPA violation!! I called the office to let them know and they didn't seem concerned, just told me to shred them. Seriously! I'm reporting them to GHS and Federal DHHS. The PA should be fired. Dr. Mullinax may be a good and competent Doctor but we will never know because her front office staff is so inept that we will not return and tell everyone we know not to go there. When a doctor does not care enough to supervise her PA and office staff, it's a poor reflection upon her as a doctor and professional. DO NOT GO HERE!! Absolutely horrible doctors office. I was referred here for pain management however Dr Mullinax does not care about her patients whatsoever and treats you like just another number. I was not given any pain management assistance whatsoever. Dr Mullinax insisted on repeating physical therapy and refused to prescribe any medications whatsoever or injections for my severe and chronic pain which was verified via problems with an MRI nerve conduction study and x-rays. I was transferred to Dr. Mullinax from another excellent doctor who had retired. I was seeing him for chronic back and hip pain. From the first visit with Mullinax I had the feeling of no connection. She was very confrontational and no empathy what so ever. She was only interested in the back issue which she said was really not very bad!! I've had surgery on it once and have another cyst causing pain. I definitely would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

I waited 4 months for an appt, only to be treated like a drug addict. I am way beyond appalled at the treatment, or lack thereof that I received. I signed a contract & they told me they would prescribe something temporarily. Then I had to do a drug test. I was unable to give more than a thimble full of urine, so they refused to prescribe anything. Since I had signed their contract, of which I never received a copy, my primary care doc was unable to prescribe anything.

physician was very incompetent with her care. She was the only physician I could see and I wouldn't have changed from my previous physician but she moved. With an obvious diagnosis based on MRI and previous medical history she didn't have to do her own diagnosing. She only wanted to provide oral medicine despite my desires to continue with other methods ,my previous injections, to prevent having to take medication. The next week I was told by a neurosurgeon I needed surgery and an injection.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Mullinax to anyone! She lacks in people skills! I only saw her twice and that was two times too many! She wasted my time thereby inhibiting my continuity of care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mullinax for quite awhile. She is very professional. Always very concise in her explanations and definitions and communications. It is very important in life to have a reliable doctor when dealing with important medical issues.
