If I could give Dr. Britto 6 stars I would. I was recently sent to him for a root canal. He and his staff were kind, gentle and thorough. His office is about an hour from my house but it was well worth the drive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I've had too many root canals than I care to admit in my life. This one with Dr. Britto was hands-down, the best experience. He is so kind and calming and helpful. He really takes his time to talk with you and explain everything and answer all your questions. I felt very relaxed the whole time and no pain other than the quick bee sting feeling of the shot to numb me. It was also faster than I expected! I am so grateful for this doctor! Dr. Britto was kind and took his time with my first root canal. I felt my welfare and comfort were important to him.

I was recently referred to Dr. Britto in Fernandina by my regular dentist. The dentist didn't like one of my x-rays and advised that it would probably involve a root canal and then a crown. When I went to my consult, Dr. Britto's staff took new x-rays and then a CT scan (which they didn't charge me for) of the area in question. The doctor then came in after reviewing all the pictures and explained why I DIDN'T need a root canal. I didn't understand everything he was trying to explain but I do understand that Dr. Britto is a one of a kind doctor. Thank you, sir. I went to Dr. Britto to have him analyze a rear molar which had been overly sensitive. I suspected a root problem. I was right, and he showed me that there was no bone left under the tooth. He extracted the tooth after several painkilling shots. During the next 72 hours the only pain I had was taken care of with a couple Tylenols. There was virtually no swelling. Dr. Britto was very attentive and explained everything thoroughly and in laymen’s English. I had the sutures removed, again painless. A very pleasant experience overall, considering my initial apprehension.

First time here was last month and i had a great experience! I was having a lot of pain on a root canal that I had done at another Dr. previously and Dr. Britto was able to look at the xray and see that it was infected as was another tooth behind it. He re did the root canal that day and I haven't had anymore pain since! he also worked with me on the cost since I had to have 2 root canals re done. Thank you Dr. Britto and staff! I was a person with anxiety over dentists but Dr. Britto and his staff instilled such confidence that I fell asleep during both root canal visits. That is amazing.

Oh my goodness if I could bottle this man up and clone him I would!! He is truly God sent!! Very rare to find dentists in this industry that's not abrupt with their patients and have integrity. He takes the time to break things down for you in layman's terms, has so much integrity, passionate, flexible, and did I mention he has INTEGRITY?! I've been a patient for over a decade, if not two and NEVER encountered a problem. I can go on and on, but you won't get the feeling unless you experience it firsthand yourself. Being in the dental field myself I appreciate his expertise, his staff went above an beyond to make sure I was comfortable and I didn’t feel a thing. Dr Britto is an excellent doctor! I went to him for re-treatment of a root canal that was done 30 years ago, and I was very apprehensive about the procedure. He was very thorough in explaining the process and he and his staff put me at ease. As another reviewer stated, he gives painless shots. I driven 45 miles put me in the chair gave me shot to numb and then dr. told me she was not doing the root canal because i was not getting crown right away. Rude staff stay away all about the money.

Dr. Britton and his staff are very personable, kind, caring, and competent.

He's very personable and highly skilled. I wasn't sure what to expect, he performed 2 root canals thru their crowns. One was a crowned baby tooth. The other tooth should have been root canaled before it was crowned - but my general dentist didn't recognize this. Dr. Britto is not arrogant and I trust his judgement.

I JUST came from there where i was scheduled to have a root canal done and im now in my reg dentist office playing the "i dont want to do it, you do it" game. The dr bragged about how much he makes ( verbatum, "i dont need to find work, i dont need to do stuff i dont have to) and then told me he wasnt going to do the root canal because first he wants me to pay for a filling that, may or may not, fix the problem, so thats possibly $50 down the drain. My appt was scheduled for 12:45 so I don't know if he was just making a really bad excuse so he could just skip it and go to lunch or if he was just genuinely lazy but i went through the pain (literal, not figurative) of waiting WEEKS for the procedure and the trouble of already approving it through my insurance for nothing. NOTHING. and here i am playing ping pong between dentists meanwhile, i have to drink through a straw and hold my head weird when i eat so im not in pain. I will never go there again. Absolutely the best that I've ever been to! Very professional and explains exactly what the problem is. I didn't even feel the shots, give the best shots ever!! Charged me one time and has seen me many times after and hasn't charged me for any of the additional visits. This was a botched job that he cleaned up for me. Dr Britto is the most talented Dentist I have ever had. He found the problems and best solutions that other dentists missed. I am finally out of pain thanks to Dr. Britto. I can't say enough about him and his wonderful staff. Everything was perfect.
