My daughter had been a patient of Dr. Zemel’s and we had seen him twice before this incident occurred. He spoke to his residents about my daughter and I in the next room. He spoke in an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful way (about us) unbeknownst to him we were able to hear every God forsaken, unprofessional and disturbing word. When he came in to our exam room I confronted him verbatim as to what he said to his subordinates and his response was shock and horror. His words, “this is embarrassing.” and promptly with immense speed left the room. So incredibly disappointing and disturbing! Zemel you traumatized both my daughter and I in ways I cannot convey!

Clearly self absorbed and not up to date on scientific evidence of persistent Lyme disease. Doesn’t deserve a star but I had to put something to post!

Listened to my concerns, explained procedures to my child.

Dr. Zemel has a very poor bedside manner. I read many good reviews and was very shocked at his lack of empathy. I would not recommend him at all.

Thirty years ago , Lyme disease was unheard of in Memphis Tnp. I took my then 8 year old to Dr. Zemel. My son tested positive on Lyme utter, was treated and made well.

He is most caring, most qualified doctor I have ever seen. He cared for my son who was diagnosed with JDMS. He literally saved my childs life and protected his quality of life and he did it perfectly. I literally love Dr. Zemel.
