Dr. Lawrence W Pompili

Dr. Pompili is an excellent oral surgeon. He performed a very complicated surgery rarely done at the time ( 1990) on me. Only one other oral surgeon in the U.S. had performed this complicated procedure. Here it is now 2022 and I am happy to report I have never had a problem with the work he performed on my jaw. I have the highest regards for Dr. Pompili!

I went in a nervous wreck. I was made very comfortable with conversation, music and mannerisms of everyone. Will not hesitate to go back.

I would never recommend this Dr to anyone. I suffered after his surgical procedure for a year. He had pinched a nerve during the surgery and many other errors. I ended up at U of M with one surgery to rectify it. I see by other reviews he's finally getting his karma for it all. It would be one thing if he was professional, attentive WITH compassion for the pain & suffering I went through AND Owed up to it. He did not-EVER. Thankfully, The oral surgeons at U of M was able to remedy the situation. I would never recommend this Dr to anyone. I suffered after his surgical procedure for a year. Very good dentist nothing but good things to say.

They did a good job with scheduling me and getting me in to get my teeth extracted after having my teeth extracted wisdom teeth on Wednesday I was in excruciating pain by Friday waiting to go into the office till Monday morning they packed my dry sockets and gave me absolutely nothing for the pain

I would not recommend Dr. Pompili at all. Even though it was a few years ago that I saw him for oral surgery, I'm sure someone else would be better! Both he and his staff were rude and spent as little time with me as possible!

I am rating our experience with this office at poor because of the office and billing staff. I was informed on our pre surgical visit that one billing code may not be covered so I had to pay $380 upfront for my daughters teeth removal, with the hopes of being reimbursed by Dr. Pompili if the claim was paid by my insurance. I voiced my concerns about getting money back from people, but I was reassured that billing and payment would be prompt. Her appointment was in October, and nearly 4 months and many phone calls to the office and speaking to several employees and the office manager Jackie, I have been repeatedly told they dont know what happened, they will send in a new claim and see what happens. As of today, this will be attempt #3 to get them to send in the claim. I let her know that I will be calling daily to confirm that the claim has indeed been submitted and if and when the payment is recieved.
