Lack of care and expertise! Go elsewhere!! I ended up seeing another doctor who immediately ordered imaging and surgery. Had my condition been recognized and addressed sooner I would not have further hearing loss and balance problems

Dr. Katin and his team are terrific. I was having nasal issues and made an appointment with Dr. Katin. Dr. Katin performed a through exam and recommended nasal surgery. He explained the procedure from pre-surgery, through recovery. I elected the surgery and everything Dr. Katin shared was spot on. I and fully recovered and breathing so much better. I cannot believe the improvement. His team was just as incredible. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable professional, easy to talk to, and they answered EVERY question I had. Just a great team. Five stars.

I have been a patient of Dr Katin for a number of years. I recently had surgery and can't say enough about the staff and Dr Katin. The staff did a great job getting me ready for the surgery, the surgery went well and the scar looks looks really good and the follow up after the surgery was great with the staff and Dr Katin. I would highly recommend him if your looking for an ENT doctor.

I had an acute issue that surfaced very quickly. I called multiple ENT offices in the area before normal office hours. Dr. Katins staff called me at a couple of minutes before 9 am and scheduled me for a same day appointment. Kudos to the staff. Dr. Katin is professional, highly skilled and communicates well. I have been with Dr. Katin since 2018. He was highly recommended by my primary care physician. He has performed several procedures on me: Sinus endoscopy, Septoplasty, and Thyroidectomy. At every point in his interactions, he made sure that I understood exactly everything about what my issues were and how he was going to treat me, which was extremely comforting. He is one of the few doctors that actually called me to see how I was doing after my procedures, and that means a lot!! I highly recommend Dr. Katin!

Dr Katin goes beyond five stars - I give him ten stars. I had serious hearing challenges and I even was stuggling to hear people three feet away. Dr Katin was able to solve the problem with my only cost being a $40 co-pay. Thank you Dr Katin !!

I had septoplasty completed in February '22. Deviated septum, issues breathing, when I was pregnant it was terrible. Had my initial appointment 2 years prior to surgery but was pregnant so I couldn't get it fixed. Had the procedure, went great. Office followup was amazing. Received a call day of post discharge, and a call the day after that. Had my nose packed for a week, which was uncomfortable. I don't know if post nasal drip was my issue but my throat hurt the most of anything (could have been the cold weather). Post 'packing extraction' I got large boogers that blocked my breathing a good bit and I struggled to get them out (they felt attached to my nose). Found out at my 1 month post op 1 suture in each nostril didn't dissolve and that's what my boogers were sticking. After the sutures were removed I was 100%. My breathing, sleeping, exercising is greatly improved. I'm recommending my husband get his septum checked. We went to Katin because we heard he was the best. Dr Lawrence Katin has taken care of my sinus's and hearing for many years. He has a very good patient rapport and is an excellent surgeon too.

I've seen Dr. Katin regarding my nasal polyps after I lost my sense of smell (not COVID). Ultimately I had surgery to remove the polyps. He answered and addressed all of my concerns both before and after surgery. I find him very detail oriented and clearly wants to know if I have any questions or concerns at the end of every visit. I find his care and the staff in the office to be wonderful. I would highly recommend both.

Dr. Lawrence Katin is a highly skilled, experienced and competent physician All went well with my recent surgery at Paoli Hospital – Parotidectomy He provided added value care by calling me directly several times for updates, especially the CT appointment on a Friday afternoon at 3:30. He was still in the office and left me a voice mail At 5:30 on my cell with positive results from the recent scan. All appointments were on time. The office staff, RN’s are professional, friendly and helpful. The office coordination with the hospital for the surgery was seamless – no problems. All my phone calls were answered live by an office administrator. I recommend Dr. Katin for any ear, nose and throat needs. I feel lucky to have him as my ENT

I had a procedure completed by Dr. Katin late last year and I was very impressed with how everything went. I was supposed to do outpatient surgery and the day of the surgery the doctor made a decision to move my surgery to the hospital because of potential risks. I was upset, but he took the time to explain why and walked me through everything. This ended up being a good decision for my particular situation. After the surgery, I had almost no side effects or issues. Everything went as he planned and I had great success with the procedure. I recommend Dr. Katin because of his bedside manner and skill. Lastly, we had a conversation that was not directly related to his care and he took the time to discuss the issue I was having and explain what the other doctor stated. This meant a tremendous amount to me since most doctors in my experience are just concerned with getting to the next patient. Thanks

I came to see Dr. Katin at the recommendation of my family doctor. I had been suffering repeated pneumonia and bronchitis that were driven by sinus infections. Dr. Katin performed sinus surgery to remove polyps and open my sinuses. He also accurately diagnosed my rare asthmatic condition as Samter's triad asthma where sinus polyps and asthma are caused by NSAID allergy and inflammation. I can't say enough about the quality of care I have received from Dr. Katin. He is one of only two doctors I know who dictates his encounter notes - impressions, diagnoses, further care recommendations, etc. - right there in front of me at the end of our appointment. It reinforces that he has heard and considered everything I have said to him and gives me a clear understanding of what he is doing. It is a very rare quality in a doctor. I am much healthier today because of his care.

My experience at Dr. Katin's office has been nothing but incredible. Life changing sinus surgery and very attentive care. I travel from out of state to continue seeing him and it is well worth it. His staff goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Couldn't recommend this office enough.

I had an absolutely horrid experience trying to schedule an appointment. I spoke with two receptionists. They had absolutely no time for questions and were demeaning and even cruel. My father has a recent disability - a severe traumatic spinal cord injury. I never thought of discrimination against the disabled but I certainly experienced it for the first time here. They had absolutely no care of our situation and then just refused to schedule us and hung up. Doctor seems like nice, but they charging system is confusing, high consultation fee billed to you even the doctor just talked to you for 2 mins

For ten years I couldn’t breathe out of my nose and it cause snoring and other issues throughout my regular day. Dr. Katin fixed everything! It’s like I’m living a whole new life. He and his staff are pleasant and super kind!

I have suffered with dizziness spells for the majority of my life, and Dr. Katin was the first doctor to give me a diagnosis and treatment method. After years of MRIs and CAT scans, I was so relieved to hear from Dr. Katin that there are ways for me to deal with my Meniere’s Disease! I have been going to Dr. Katin for over 2 yrs now. He has done surgery and has gone out of his way to find out what causes my issues. Very kind and always listens. Also his entire staff is the best. Horrible office staff! Stay away! Everything about this place is horrible, especially the office staff. They are rude and obnoxious. Very cold and heartless.

Dr.Katin is wonderful but his staff can be pretty abrupt and rude. Also trying to reschedule an appointment is nightmarish. I've been told twice someone would call me to reschedule an appointment and it's been a week since my second call. Being that I'm in the medical field as well I give a lot of leeway with how I'm treated by staff but I'm really off put by them. I have been a patient with Dr Karin for the last 15 years. He has helped me with my issues with my ear and also referring me to other competent Doctors. My Father saw Dr Katin at Bryn Mawr rehab and we liked him and felt confident in his care. His office, however, made us feel completely the opposite. When scheduling the appointment, the woman on the phone was rude and it was obvious by her tone that she wanted nothing to do with helping me. My mother called about a week before the appointment to confirm and to ask if she should bring anything with her. She was told just an ID and insurance. They said that they would get his records. When she arrived, the office staff was extremely rude and knew nothing about my father, they argued with my mother saying that my father was never seen by dr Katin. I could understand a mix up in communication but it was their clear disrespect that was the problem. The lack of empathy and caring in that office is a disgrace. This is my first neg review ever written, I’ve worked in healthcare for 20 plus years and I am a masters prepared RN. I know how patients and families should be treated

Katin was dismissive, condescending, and wasn’t interested in discussing my issue. I felt like my visit was a total waste of time. I received conflicting info from Katin and his audiologist. Very unprofessional environment...I would not recommend seeing this individual.

Dr. Katin has been my ENT doctor for several years now. He has helped me to address issues ranging from minor irritations to major issues that required surgery. He has been kind, informative, and conducted exceptional work every step of the way. I wouldn’t go to anyone else!!

Several years ago I saw Dr Katin and he did my sinus surgery. Cured my headaches, yay. Last year, I had a mystery issue, and Dr K has been awesome. He wanted to rule out cancer, and during July 4 week, he called late, like 7 pm, to update and assure me on more than one occasion. Surgery and tests since then, so attentive to me as a patient. Still a mystery but takes time to consult, refer and get me in quick. He's awesome, recommended as one of the best. He's so smart, intuitive, and engaged.

Dr Katin is the best surgeon. Have had 3 surgeries with him. 2 on my ear canal and 1 on my neck. His precision is amazing. Results astounding!!!!

I went to Dr. Katin this week due to a hoarse voice for the past month. As a teacher this was starting to become a major problem. He was able to see me within the week I called, diagnose and explain what I needed to do to heal my vocal cords. I can't thank him enough for making me feel comfortable, giving me the strategies/resources I needed and answering all of my questions. I have highly recommended Dr. Katin to all of my family, friends and co-workers!

First off the staff is extraordinarily friendly. Dr. Katin is very poised, kind and friendly. He is an awesome diagnostician. I went to three other ENT’s before I found Dr Katin and he zeroed I’m in my problem. My entire family sees him. Can’t brag enough about the man!

Actually he took my tonsils out two years ago and I did not Review him. I had a severe right side ear pain and I got into his office THAT AFTERNOON. I forgot how gentle and sharp he is - in no time my ear infection healed and I was up and about. He’s the man of ENTs!!

The office staff is the rudest I have ever dealt with. When asked when I had my last appt. after putting me on hold for at least five minutes twice. Another lady got on the phone to ask for information all over again she asked for my phone # and hung up on me. She called me back an hour later to tell me they have no record of me as a patient. The next day another lady called me to tell me that my records were ready to be picked up! What?All I asked was “when was my last appt? Incompetent!!

I gave one star for the first visit, ignoring the very long waiting room time and extremely ignorant staff. I say ignorant for mostly "not knowing", not personal. Definitely would not recommend this doctor. I liked him very much AT FIRST, and ignored the schedule and other paperwork mistakes as well as the almost comedic unprofessional staff. I figured, well, it is more important to have a good doctor. He was honest, and explained his opinion in detail about my ongoing sinus infections. I felt optimistic as he said he really thought I was on the right track and was hesitant in giving me a 4th antibiotic, as he strongly reiterated that he felt I was getting better, showing me pictures of sinuses and how from my picture scans to this visit, the fluid had gone down immensely. He mentioned that I had minimal issues in the side of my nose that was not bothering me, and that they really were not then, a concern, or related to what he agreed was my culprit, Allergies. Thus, the course of action was to see an allergist, which was already scheduled. He said to come back after that to recheck. He prescribed, instead of a 4th pill, a topical antibiotic ointment, to keep further infection at bay. He also suggested firmly that I use a specific nasal rinse using distilled water. I left feeling uplifted by his confidence that my infections were truly on their way out and that addressing my allergies was the best course of action. HERE'S THE DEAL: I didn't mind paying the $80 for a followup, even after more confusion among staff mistakes, ridiculous appointment mistakes, ( I never received a reminder call or email, so I called them and I was not on schedule, had to reschedule only to get there and they said I was supposed to be there two hours prior etc). Then, with a 2 1/2 hour wait to be seen, while staff yelled and threw things around, as well as being switched rooms twice while waiting, Once, even while a staff member was in the middle of prepping me. (never finished) whew! I figured at least finally i will get to see the doctor and he can examine me and Thought he would be satisfied and happy that I was feeling better and did everything he suggested. I wanted to have an ENT I could trust and continue to see when needed. To my extreme disappointment, he himself was arrogant, and argued with me that I in fact never had any infection! He began with talking about surgery!? I stopped him, and explained my confusion since my previous visit I actually was hoping to have surgery as an option to cure my ongoing misery and he told me that there really was very minimal things and that my issues were not stemming from any of that but really wanted to be sure I followed up with allergist as he believed what I already suspected, that allergies were causing my continual infections. But In his proceeding to talk about surgery, for the "not anything to worry about" things he noticed at first visit, I was left completely deflated. When I explained my concerns, he simply stated that we will start from scratch....he reread the dictation, which was correct, but very vague, he told me I was wrong, and that his dictation is all he needs. On my way out, they asked if I wanted to reschedule. No Thanks. I almost didn't go to the followup visit, and wish I had not. I SHOULD HAVE FOLLOWED MY FIRST INSTINCTS. My health is way too important for a man who is as rude as his staff who work for him. I do feel badly for grouping all the staff, as I am sure that they work hard, under much stress. My children all saw Dr. Katin and they loved him. He was great with them and really took the time to listen and get to know them. Some of the office staff at the Paoli office are extremely rude and make the experience of having to make an appointment or go to that office completely undesirable. We moved over 2 hours away but still took our kids to him for all follow up exams, and even went back so he could do our youngest ones surgery. Dr. Katin is an outstanding professional. He knew I was very concerned recently about certain test results and he rushed them and called me late on a Friday night so I didn't need to wait through the weekend. I have the same high regard for his staff. I had a bad experience with an MRI recently and just dropped in on his office. His entire staff sprang into action even though their office hours were ending and did what was necessary to get me care and followups. They care and are awesome people.

At first I trusted him, but three strikes for me, I'm out. He literally argued with me about my experience with my sinuses at a followup. He ignored, dismissed me, my concerns, and did not care about anything other than what he wanted to say. He argued that I never had infection because it was not in his notes. I wanted to and should have walked out on him. But I sat with my jaw on the floor and almost laughed.

Over the last year, Dr. Katin repaired a hole in my eardrum as well as surgically removed a cancerous Thyroid & Lymph nodes. Coming from a family of doctors, I appreciate someone who intelligently communicates a diagnosis and quickly lays out recovery plan. The skill, concern, and professionalism offered to me by Dr. Katin and his office staff made neck surgery much easier to swallow. I recovered better than expected from both surgeries, largely due to their care. Very grateful...

I was scared to death to have sinus surgery . I put it of twice in 2015. I finally had it done July 2016 and I have to say it was nothing like what I read or was worried about. I think I picked the best surgeon and I was worried because he wasn't a codler. But I would rather have a darn good surgeon than a codler any day ! I had a big surgery and what I experienced most was some dizziness and headaches during recovery , other than that it was a breeze and I am very thankful to Doctor Katin

Great Doctor, but his staff is rude. They never call back, are curt on the phone, and never follow through with requests. I was just told that I could no longer be helped because the receptionist had "two other calls she had to make." For that reason alone, I won't go back.

He is really a great doctor. My wife had some ear problem. I visited another ENT specialist and made numerous visits, several unnecessary tests without any relief. My PCP gave Dr. Katin's information and we visited him. On the first visit itself he found the issue with very basic tests. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Katin is very rude and dismissive. Don't bother asking questions, because he can't be bothered answering. Arrogant is the best word to describe him. I can't be bothered with the likes of him.

Dr. Katin is extremely dismissive. After my son's surgery he did not allow us to ask questions. He literally cut us off when we tried and said, I have to go to do the next case; everything will be on the discharge instructions. It was shocking!
