Dr. Lawrence D Kaelin

Today Dr. Kaelin basically asked was my breathing any better and did I have a polyp taken care of that they found in a scan that I had. He seemed to be focused on anything but my 3 aneurysms, He then went on to tell me I was a bad risk for surgery in his opinion, if I understood him correctly. He did not feel that I would live through the surgery due to my COPD. He basically sounded like he was saying surgery would be waisted on me. When I tried to discuss this, he avoided my concerns of what he just told me by focusing on the swelling in my feet and legs, and finished up with me as quickly as possible. I felt rushed through the appt. I am very dissatisfied with my treatment. What's the use in keeping any more appt's. with this doctor? I will seek another opinion!

Dr.Kaelin is a brilliant vascular surgeon.To date,two weeks post surgery,I’m doing very well.He makes the after care instructions meticulously and thorough.My care plan entails everything necessary for an expedient recovery.I would give him on a scale of 0-10,with 10being the highest,he and his team a10!??Sincerely,Jacqueline Kimbrough

My husband’s surgery was postponed several hours because Dr. Kaelin was called in to repair an accidental artery nick made by another surgeon. Dr. Kaelin is obviously a meticulous surgeon.

Wonder beside maner and an excellent Vascular Surgeon. Staff extremely attentive.
