Lawrence T Donovan

Dr. Donavan did surgery for a pretty bad case of Dupuytrens contracture. I am writing this review a couple years after the surgery and the result has been fantastic. Great mobility and no pain or other issues. My other hand is now giving me trouble and and I am going back to Dr. Donavan!

I thought Dr. Donovan was an excellent doctor and I was very comfortable with him and our visits. I'm disappointed in how my hand healed and looks now but I don't put the blame on the doctor.

I was very satisfied with my Visit

He listened to me and offered options and agreed on a path.

Pleasant, very caring and competent. He eliminated the long-standing pain in my elbow.

Very professional. Explained 3 options with probable outcomes. Moved quickly to put plan in motion when I chose the best option for me.

Very confident, as orthos are in my experience, and with the competence in my case to warrant the confidence. Plus he is personable, even friendly.

Great orthopedic care. Broke my radius, at wrist. He was very clear about what I needed to do to get better and gave me excellent information, answered questions, and followed up to be sure it was all going well. He is the kind of doctor everyone always hopes to get.

My son's elbow surgery has had a wonderful result. He is heavy into sports and has had no issues playing football or basketball. Donovan was very thorough and trustworthy.

I was a 29 to be 30 year old man when I trusted Dr.lawrence T Donovan ,a Dr.that at the time was on staff at Sprit LaAfter three attempts to let my case goke hospital in Iowa. His partner repaired my sons open forearm fracture and we followed up with dr Donovan. One of the bones was crooked, but he said it might straighten and to give it time. Son started to have trouble strainghtening elbow and couldn’t turn his hand to face down. Went back—he talked about straighting the bone when he was older. Turns out the bone was out of joint at the elbow and grew funny because of that. Two surgeries later and he still can’t bend the elbow all the way or rotate his wrist fully.

Makes you feel very comfortable and thoroughly explains the problem and the procedure to fix it
