Dr. Roth was patient, caring, and extremely informative from the first time we met with her. She took the time to get to know us and worked closely with us in developing our treatment plan. I had failed IUI's and IVF's and she worked so hard to keep us hopeful and persevering. She's incredibly responsive and truly cares about her patients. We couldn't have built our family without Dr. Roth.

We started our process in April 2021, conceived in November 2021 and gave birth to our son in August 2022. From beginning to end Dr. Roth was exceptional and provided with a wealth of information. I’m so glad she was our one and only physician. Our process seemed lengthy but it was truly worth it. We did 3 IUI cycles and finally got pregnant with our first IVF cycle. She truly did everything she could to get us our child. We plan to expand our family once more, so we will certainly be back with her.

We started our fertility journey in October of 2019 after experiencing a MMC in 2018. I chose a female doctor because I felt I would be able to connect better. Dr. Roth was perfect for this role. She really guided us on the steps we took to get where we are today. While on this fertility journey, I had 3 failed IVF's and 4 failed IUI's with my own eggs. We moved on to the DE program at the end of 2021 and we welcomed a beautiful lil boy in January of 2023. If your looking to add to your family, I highly recommend SGF and Dr. Roth.

Dr. Roth is an exceptional doctor. From the first visit, I felt like she really cared. She listened well and was thorough in her assessment. What really was special to me was the day I had an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy (months after seeing her) she saw me in the waiting room and remembered me (even with a mask on). She gave me a smile (behind her mask), and wave and a thumbs up as she walked her new patients back to her office. She even called me that afternoon. It’s the personal touch that made this experience that much more great. I would recommend Dr. Roth to anyone who needs answers about their fertility. The nurses are also lovely!

Dr. Roth treated us with such care and kindness throughout our IVF process. She answered every question with such patience and grace, and we could not be more thankful to have landed with Dr. Roth. I never imagined IVF for our pregnancy journey, but it was our last resort; we could not have asked for better patient care throughout such an important process.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Roth and SGF. Dr. Roth was knowledgeable and warm with us, and her optimism was very reassuring. The staff was all amazing, kind, and cheery as well.

The staff at Shady Grove Fertility in Frederick and Dr. Roth are fantastic. Dr. Roth is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and will always give you the facts to make informed decisions. Fertility treatment is a science and an art and Dr. Roth is the best of the best at both. She was very patient and helpful and made sure that my husband and I understood all of our options before we jumped into treatment. She was also very reassuring and helped me with all of my anxiety! Everyone at the Frederick office from the front desk, nurses and lab and ultrasound techs are very skilled, friendly and sensitive. Dr. Roth came highly recommended by a close friend who is a mom to an amazing baby boy. Dr. Roth is amazing, tentative and a great listener . I knew from our first appt that she was change agent I needed. Her plan was patient informed and she executed it wonderfully! My wife and I went through the recipricol IVF process with Dr. Roth and her team. Through the entire process she (and her team) we're extremely caring, patient, supportive, professional, and knowledgeable. She took the time to answer all of our many questions (no matter how many times we asked them). She showed great compassion and support through every up and down in the process. I saw Dr. Roth and her team (special shoutout to Dew!!) for my IUI procedure. I met with Dr. Roth on a video call and most of my interactions after that were through the portal or on the phone. I always felt heard and taken care of. After trying for a year and realizing I had very long cycles, I got a referral to SGF and got matched with Dr. Roth. She listened to my concerns and looked at my bloodwork and confirmed it looked like PCOS, and the best route would be Letrozole and an IUI. I was lucky that my husband's SA was great. So with one round of Letrozole to help me finally ovulate on time, we did the IUI at SGF Rockville and it was successful on the first try. I had 2 follow-up scans with the SGF team as well and they went well. I had a great experience overall.

Dr. Roth is an amazing doctor. She has extensive knowledge in her field and takes the time to learn your individual circumstance to cater the treatment to you. She's very straightforward, and you can put your trust in her. I never once questioned her course of action as I had full confidence. I was very fortunate to have her as my doctor for all of my IVF journey, and I truly believe her close involvement is the reason I am pregnant. I would wholeheartedly recommend her if you're struggling with fertility, or if you are looking for options to assist you. My only complaint is that I had to leave her at 8 weeks and go to another doctor. But it's another woman and another couple's turn to have their miracle thanks to Dr. Roth!

Dr. Roth and nurse Toni were an absolute amazing team to work with. They listened to my concerns, walked my husband and I through the process and were optimistic in moments we were not. Attending appointments alone during the pandemic was overwhelming but knowing that they were there as a constant support meant everything. We were extremely blessed to have them and the SGF team beside during this challenging journey. I will never be able to thank them enough!

I highly recommend SGF and, in particular, Dr. Roth. Dr. Roth was highly knowledgeable, explaining the process step by step, and empathetic throughout the difficult process. My nurse Dew also was very responsive and addressed any concerns that I had. Dr. Roth is an incredible doctor and I am so grateful to have been under her care for my infertility journey. I had a very complicated road with unexplained secondary infertility and she was caring, patient, and encouraging throughout the entire process. I am currently pregnant and so happy. We had an excellent experience at Shady Grove Fertility with Dr. Roth as our doctor. She was empathetic and extremely patient in answering every one of our questions as we went through the IVF process. I had a horrible experience with this MD. She brought us into her office after loss that was incurred because she neglected to thoroughly examine diagnostic testing. She became hostile verbally when she discovered bad reviews online and blamed us for the reviews of people we dont know. She isnt professional and it was scary to work with her.

We were very grateful to work with Dr. Roth and the SGF staff towards making our dream come true. We were able to conceive a beautiful baby boy. Dr. Roth was with us throughout the whole process. She was very patient, empathetic, insightful and detail-oriented towards our struggle to conceive. We really relied on her professional input and advice. Dr. Roth was an awesome re. I began my treatment out of state but scheduled an appointment with her after relocating. She made me feel at ease about the treatment that i had received prior and her next steps aligned with my expectations. She and her staff were responsive to emails and helped navigate a very complex and emotional experience. She was knowledgeable, but warm and caring and I highly recommend her.

My husband and I got pregnant on our own several years ago with a little girl and ended up losing her in utero. We were told we’d get pregnant again fairly quickly. But that was not the case. After a few years of trying we decided to contact Shady Grove after a friend had recommended us. We are so glad that we did! After extensive testing we found out we had Unexplained Infertility. Dr. Lauren Roth assured us she would help us and made us feel so entirely comfortable, explained every sort of procedure and timeline to the point we clearly understood it and she was in our corner every step of the way. It was so nice to have a doctor care and ask how we are doing. Fast forward two years later and we now have a happy and healthy 2 year old little boy who is our absolute world and we would not have him if it weren’t for Dr. Lauren Roth and the amazing staff at Shady Grove Fertility. We were with Shady Grove for two years before having our son, so it is possible, just trust the process. We started with Dr. Roth, but did not end with her. She is knowledgeable, but not warm or friendly, which I needed during this journey. She made me feel like a nuisance. My decision to switch came after she called me to apologize after making an unprofessional and hurtful comment to me. I knew then it was time to switch. I understand her judgement was clouded, but when we were spending all of that money and time, it was a non negotiable for me; I shouldn’t be crying over comments my doctor makes. Shady Grove is fantastic, but Dr. Roth was not. If you like to the point and blunt, she might be your person.

I visited Dr. Roth after 2 years of treatments at other centers and she is amazing. Very caring and walked through all the process with us. We had complications and she was so supportive and eased all my worries. I will be returning to her in hopes of baby #2!

One of the best doctors I have ever had (and I’m a nurse so that’s saying a lot!). She personally called me several times with important updates and always had time for questions. We conceived after our first round of IVF and are so lucky to have found Dr. Roth and SGF!

After years of struggling to create a family, my husband and I decided to reach out for help. I found Dr. Roth after researching fertility clinics in our area. During our initial visit Dr. Roth was extremely thorough, and outlined our first coarse of action(I.E. testing involved, intended treatment plan, etc.). She helped us every step of the way, and handled our case with the utmost care. Infertility issues can be a very emotional and touchy subject. Not once did I ever feel as though they weren’t there to do what was in our best interest. Just a few months after treatment began, my husband and I became pregnant. We now have the most precious little girl. I can’t thank Dr. Roth enough. If it weren’t for her expertise and assistance with a treatment plan, I don’t believe our dream of having a family would have ever come true. I would highly recommend Dr. Roth hands down.

Dr. Roth was absolutely incredible to work with - a genuinely 5-star experience. She was always so kind, compassionate, patient, available, reassuring, incredibly knowledgeable, and. approachable. She has an innate way of putting patients at ease, explaining infertility, the different diagnostics and treatment options, and setting expectations that are understandable and seem less daunting to undertake. When we “graduated” from SGF to our OB, while our OB was also amazing, we wish staying with Dr. Roth was possible! We truly cannot recommend Dr. Roth highly enough.

My husband and I struggled with unexplained infertility. We were seen at the Camp Hill Office. Our nurse Amy was knowledgeable about the process, empathetic, very prompt at answering questions and emails always encouraged us throughout. We always found Dr. Roth to have calm and laid back demeanor and was very knowledgeable, upfront & realistic about the process and encouraged us throughout. We wouldn’t have our son without their help & encouragement to keep going.

We struggled with multiple miscarriages then difficulty conceiving for years and then we were referred to Dr. Roth! I am now holding my 3 week old little girl as I write this! Dr. Roth was so optimistic and personable when we met her which is exactly what we needed at that point. She considered our goals and developed a plan for us. We felt so confident in her care- I cannot say this enough. She’s honestly the best and I would recommend her to any individual or couple that needs help.

I found the staff overall to be indifferent towards us. They violated my privacy rights with each visit. The transfer itself seemed sloppy when the ultrasound tech in training couldn't properly guide the doctor with a good visual. The financial staff, Delphenia misinformed us about hidden costs. Its very scary when you call a doctor and no one calls you back for an emergency.

We can’t thank Dr Roth enough for making our dream come true! She was very professional, kind, always available and everything you need a physician to be in such a difficult journey. Her and the shady grove team were absolutely amazing ( especially tracey) and I would highly recommend Dr Roth as a physician! When time is right we will see her again for our second child... Hofit.

I was told by a previous RE that my partner and I will not be able to have a baby and to consider donor sperm. I did research and came across Dr Roth. 6 months later, i am now 9 weeks pregnant! I still cant believe i almost gave up hope. I will forever be grateful for meeting Dr.Roth.

Dr.Roth was the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional doctor I’ve ever met with. Dr.Roth created an experience that was welcoming and non-intimidating, she offered and explained different options and gave me hope. Dr.Roth’s expertise is top notch and I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Roth is professional and yet kind, encouraging and down-to-earth. When faced with a sudden and unexpected diagnosis of DOR / POI she helped us to make sense of it all and maintain hope! Stepping into the realm of Fertility Treatment can be hugely overwhelming and scary, so it helps immensely to have a doctor who handles it so well. We will see her again in the future if needed when we are ready to try for our second child.

Dr. Roth was the second reproductive endocrinologist I consulted, after suffering two miscarriages while under the care of another doctor. Dr Roth is by far the kindest and most professional physician I have ever met. She always took her time and I never felt rushed with her. She called and gave her condolences when I my first embryo transfer was unsuccessful. She called and told me he status of my embryos on a weekend morning. She always made me feel like I wasn’t just a number or protocol. I would and do recommend Dr Roth to other patients struggling with infertility. I am sure there is no better fertility Dr!
