Dr. Lauren Elaine Ampolos

She was very literal and was a bit too new-age which I suppose makes her ideal for some clients on Maui, but not for me. I never established a true rapport with her and found it difficult to trust her.

Dr. Ampolos's office is in the Kidney Foundation's office. It's very awkward and uncomfortable to walk past people who work in that in that office due to confidentiality. I was there less than 10 minutes when she told me that my insurance would not cover her visit, so I stated that I needed to leave so I wouldn't be charged. She kept insisting that I stay and would not delete my information off her computer. She later submitted a claim to my insurance company as a psychiatric examination.
