I have been to a multitude of therapists as well as psychiatrists. I read these reviews in shock of the negative accusations. Dr. Champagne has quite literally saved my life. Not only in the sense of mental instability but in prior prescription error. My prior doctor had me on a deadly combination of medication. Not only did she immediately correct the mishap, she has helped me overcome mindset and thought pattern that most won’t ever be able to understand. Her staff is very friendly, perhaps monotonous at first, but after become familiar you realize that they too care. For the poor reviews, I believe you’re probably upset because her diagnosis and decision correct. Yes, she is strict on precise refill dates, which is legal and ethical . From my biased experience, best mental healthcare i have been provided. Undoubtedly brilliant and much gratitude.

Dr. Champagne herself is nice. Her staff, however, is abysmal. I'm writing this while experiencing severe withdrawals from my medications because her office refuses to do their jobs. This has happened so many times i'm sick of it. I'm going to have to find someone else because of how horrible her office is.

I really liked Dr. Champagne. I started seeing her when I was going through a rough time. I was going on short term disability. I needed to change up my meds. She was a breathe of fresh air. She counsels as well as prescribes. Different than my past experiences with psychiatrists. However, her office staff just could never get it together. Unfortunately that really affected me. I would run out of my meds on many occasions. I finally had to change doctors. It's really too bad. She really is a good doctor. She just needs to hire a good office manager.

She will drop you at a moments notice. Beware of this place. I did nothing wrong and was told I was Dr. Shopping etc. I went into Seizures after this. If she dropped me, a 60 yr. old lady, doing my best to follow instructions you too can be dropped. I now have to file complaints. I do not deserve to be profiled..... I want to live. Very, very, very bad business. Beware. I was just about to lose my mind. I really trusted her.

This is ridiculous!!! My wife has now been out of her meds for a week. Ive called 20 times and have sent emails. No one from her office has called back. Surely there is a State agency that we can report this quack to,,

Do NOT go to Dr.Champagne’s office. Worst doctor office I have ever encountered. Complete lack of care and Horrible communication. Ran out of meds multiple times, would have to follow up to get meds sent days after appointment, and patient care is a total joke. Impossible to get ahold of through phones, don’t bother leaving a voicemail because you won’t get a call back. If you want scary dangerous “Highly addictive“ medications with no care, no follow up, or any Actual help/doctor duties this is the place for you. Save your money go somewhere else.

Dr Champagne is not your run of the mill physician.. She is more in tune then what other reviews have claime...so she has been a godsend... Im finally working towards a brighter happier me..After numerous Physician's, different Trials of medication suffering from severe anxiety, depression and attention deficit. I'm old enough now to know what will help and what was not. It was so bad that I was disabled with it. She listened to what I told her to be my trial and error for quite some years with different treatments. After, I felt like she truly could totally understand even though she's just a doctor. Dr. Champagne I think you I know you're a busy woman your office is truly busy. I've never left a message where it has not been called back. Yes things might take time but, all things good take time. I feel more and more like myself again everyday. I'm just so blessed to have found her now than ever after all the other ones thank you Doctor champagne and your staff, for brightening each

When I checked in they said I would have to pay $100 when my co-pay is only $40. Right after my appointment I called Blue Cross and they said I should have only been charged my co-pay. We left a message which was never returned. The next day, I left another message and emailed them. I spoke to the owner and he said he'd get back to me and I still haven't heard anything from them. I will soon report them to my insurance company.

Incompetent. Made an appointment for my 7 year old son. Saw their in house therapist as directed to get into psychiatrist. Filled out tons of paperwork confirming child’s age. Show up day of appointment to be told she doesn’t see children. Scammed out of $110 and 43 days.

Dr. Champagne "discontinued" a mild benzodiazepine after three months of successful treatment. I take pain medications for arthritis, which I disclosed. She assured me could help my anxiety. Fast forward three months. I'm doing great...but the doctor tells me she won't sign a waiver that will allow (Texas) pharmacies to fill my antianxiety meds. I ended up in the ER with the DTs. I think this woman has very little compassion. She could have tapered the antianxiety meds in a humane way.

Waste of time! Took us two hours in the rain, round trip and the session was less than 25 minutes. She offered no advice, no counseling, only prescriptions that were unnecessary both visits. The only reason for a 2nd visit was because my Dr insisted we give her a second chance.

Dr. Champagne is fantastic but her front office is THE WORST. No call backs and no answer to pharmacy either. I have been dealing with this for quite a while and it's getting OLD. More than once I've been completely out of medicine for days at a time. It is stressful.

I've only been seeing Dr. Champagne for a few months now, and, fingers crossed, everyone from the phone, front desk and the Dr herself have been wonderful thus far! I like, for the most part, how serious she is. I believe her to be very thorough and willing to find a solution that will actually help my diagnosis. The girls in the front are awesome, and happily help when needed. Nothing bad from my experiences!

Appointments are being constantly cancelled. Staff doesn't call back or even answer the phone 95% of the time. Was actually given grief for appointments that THEY cancelled. Dr Laura is great, but when 90% of your business is your clientele having to deal with office staff you need to be on top of that. If you need therapy head elsewhere she is definitely just about managing your medications.

I would advise anyone to go to a different doctor if at all possible!! NEVER stop taking any psychiatric medicine suddenly; but don't expect to have a response if you have an issue. Please don't put yourself through this! You are going through enough

Office staff is unprofessional - when I called for a recommendation to a psychologist, the flippantly gave me a recommendation that was not in line with what I'd ask for and could not be bothered to go ask the doctor. Doctor is unresponsive - my pharmacy faxed her twice to try to get her to authorize the antidepressants with my insurance, but never heard back from her. I would not recommend her and will not be returning.

I have seen countless psychiatrists in my life and I can say that Dr. Champagne is , without a doubt, the best.

Wait time has been over an hour more than two times. Didn't have the results from a lab test, which was the reason for the visit, so nothing was done that day- two hours total of time wasted. Extremely hard to contact. Can only reach answering service, have not had any luck with doctor's / office staff returning calls.
