From start to finish the appointment went very well. Great front desk, very little wait time, nice and friendly staff, everything explained, all questions answered and options were given. Dr. Richardson has always shown exceptional care.

First MRI for my son who was 14 and he felt comfortable the whole time after being a bit anxious. Thanks Dr. Richardson!

This was my first visit to Dr. Richardson, and I felt rushed the entire time. He asked questions, looked at the information that I had provided, did a few tests and determined that I had two conditions. My impression was that he felt that he had done his job by naming the conditions. He did not go into detail regarding the conditions...what exactly are they, are there treatment options, what stages are they at, and what is the prognosis for both? The consultation concluded with him leaving the room abruptly while saying over his shoulder "call me if you have pain." This was the most impersonal and incomplete medical consultation I have ever been through. I will need to visit a second doctor to get the answers to my questions.

Dr. Richardson is compassionate and very knowledgeable. I’ve seen him several times over the past 5 years and he is always attentive and my issues are addressed. He performs ultrasound guided injections and I’ve been greatly helped by them. He also thoroughly considers and explains non surgical and surgical options. We are fortunate to have him in Chattanooga.

The doctor was crude , rude, unprofessional & the least kind person I’ve seen in years.

I had been treated for over two years for a back condition. Dr. Richardson reviewed my record, took additional X-rays and discovered that my issue is related to my hip, not my back.

Fell and hurt wrist, went to urgent care area of Center for Sports Medicine and he was the MD. They did X-rays which he explained and then casted my fracture

This was my first visit but Dr. Richardson seemed to be very thorough. I liked the fact I was able to get x-rays taken during my first visit. Explained thoroughly to me as well what he thought was going on.

First time seeing Dr Richardson. I went on walk-in day. I went early and was seen promptly. Somewhat of an urgent need to be seen. He did a thorough exam, Diagnosed the likely problem, prescribed some meds and I’m already starting to feel better and pain has improved within 24 hours

I have completed one evaluation.apparently it was not received. Dr. Richardson is an excellent physician. When the door closes for patient contact, Dr. Richardson is the ultimate professional. His exam and history of the patient are complete. The medical problem defined, the doctor proceeds with necessary lab tests, x-rays, or referral to a peer professional. Dr. Richardson, though serious exhibits a wry sense of humor, “breaking the ice” for a timid patient; if not timid you’ll soon feel as if he were an old friend. You’ll be ready to talk to the doctor as an old friend. As for compassion and empathy, from me he gets 10+ on a 10 scale. Though erudite, Dr. Richardson explains one’s problem, reason for tests/x-rays/referrals in the vernacular, not scientific language. My wife and I have been under Dr. R’s care for five+ years, we are well satisfied. Our ages are 85 & 80 respectively. I would not hesitate to refer Dr. Richardson to any person enjoying great medical care.

Dr. Richardson provided a clear path forward for treatment and therapy. He understood that my pain had been persistent and is treating it aggressively.

If you care about your body Don’t let this man see you!! Does not listen, arrogant, and only cares about hip replacement..leaves you sitting in the room for 1:15 and loves to run test after test because he didn’t listen .. I’ve been in pain for 10 weeks and still no answers.. I fired him .. Now they have my records and after I fired him !! they have the nerve to send me a letter telling me they can’t provide service to me .. Lol .. I wouldn’t send my worse enemy to them .. Look on vitals an look at His reviews.. Terrible.. no one wants to discuss this mans actions . What are they hiding ..

I saw Dr RICHARDSON for a broke 5th metatarsal.

This visit was about a suddenly swollen knee. Was able to get an appointment in 1 day. Staff very personable and informative. Dr Richardson is very thorough and explains each step he takes in the examination and his findings. I find his professional attitude refreshing, in that he listens to his patient and doesn't dismiss their thoughts and feelings.

Dr. Richardson was very rude very short with me and didn’t want to listen to anything I had to say he also told me that he and injured his back when he was very young and he didn’t have no problems with his because he took care of his self and then went on to tell me I needed to get on an exercise program to lose some weight I never had a weight problem in my life until two years ago after I had carotid artery surgery he was very insulting

Dr. Richardson is very thorough and cares for his patients. My husband has been seeing him for 1 1/2 yrs. Our first visit was due to a fall and Dr Richardson did kyphoplasty procedure on his T12 and did a great job. We highly recommend Dr Richardson, he is a great doctor

I have been seeing Dr Richardson for my back/hip pain. He is very professional and very thorough. Has a caring bedside manner. He wants to see his patients improve.

Dr Richardson has a very good way of making you feel at easy and also at explaining what is going to be done and what the diagnosis is.

The first visit was fine. I went back for a second visit with new symptoms. I asked about more imaging and tests as the doctor could not explain my symptoms. He said no. I had to stop him 3 times from walking out the door within a 10 min time frame to try to get answers. Some of the new symptoms I had previously been told were medical emergencies if they happened, yet he told me "Women just have issues like that." ! Didn't refer me to anyone who COULD help figure out what is going on. He just brushed me off and told me to continue pain management. Don't waste your time and money on this doctor. He doesn't care about patients. Side note-GYN said it is Neurological and referred me to a Neurosurgeon. So NOT "Women..issues.." !

Excellent experience interacting with Dr. Richardson and his staff at my first orthopedic appointment with him. He and his staff listened attentively, asked questions to clarify what I was telling them and made sure that I understood the recommendations.

Dr. Richardson gave excellent and very prompt care to our daughter's cheerleading injury, treating it with urgency which very much eased our minds. We would highly recommend him for any sports medicine/orthopedic needs, and will always return should we have any arise in the future.

Dr. Richardson had one of the best bedside manners I’ve encountered from a physician. He’s very knowledgeable. He went over every part of my X-rays with me. I will definitely use him for any further ortho needs my family has.

I saw Dr. Richardson at an orthopedic acute walk-in center the afternoon before Thanksgiving. I was impressed with how quickly I was taken back and moved through the clinical process. Dr. Richardson examined my hand thoroughly, explained my X-rays, and reviewed my situation clearly. He was very nice. He took time when prescribing meds to take several factors into consideration.
